Abstract

A simple and efficient method for the synthesis of aryl amides via oxidative copper-catalyzed coupling of commercially available aryl boronic acids and bench stable Nα-protected amino-acid azides is reported. The potential utility of this protocol is demonstrated through a survey of diversely substituted aryl boronic acids and several side-chain functionalized amino-acid azides, leading to the preparation of the desired amidated products in good to excellent yields. This amide synthesis is suitable for the preparation of amides (such as peptide aryl amides and sterically hindered amino acids) that are not or hardly accessible via classical approaches.  相似文献

Summary A new volumetric method for the estimation of uranium(VI) salt based on its photoreduction in the presence of diethyl ether has been developed. The recommended procedure consists of exposing uranium(VI) solution in about 1 N sulphuric acid solution with an excess of saturated aqueous ether solution in a glass vessel to the light from a Phillips repro lamp or sun light for 1 hour. The uranium(IV) salt formed is estimated by titration with a standard solution of sodium vanadate.The reduction does not proceed to uranium(III) stage under any conditions of exposure. Fluoride, phosphate, arsenate and perchlorate are not found to interfere either with the photochemical reduction or with the subsequent oxidimetric titration. But chloride and bromide ions markedly inhibit the photochemical reaction.  相似文献

The most widely used measures of time series proximity are the Euclidean distance and dynamic time warping. The latter can be derived from the distance introduced by Maurice Fréchet in 1906 to account for the proximity between curves. The major limitation of these proximity measures is that they are based on the closeness of the values regardless of the similarity w.r.t. the growth behavior of the time series. To alleviate this drawback we propose a new dissimilarity index, based on an automatic adaptive tuning function, to include both proximity measures w.r.t. values and w.r.t. behavior. A comparative numerical analysis between the proposed index and the classical distance measures is performed on the basis of two datasets: a synthetic dataset and a dataset from a public health study.  相似文献

Evidence is presented to show that, contrary to the statements of earlier workers, the reaction between ceric sulphate and oxalic acid is quite rapid in hydrochloric acid medium specially in the presence of iodine monochloride as catalyst. We have now found that the need for a temperature of 50° in the cerimetric titration of oxalic acid using ferroïn as indicator is not due to the sluggishness of the reaction between oxalic acid and CeIV (as believed by Willard and Young) but because of the slow reaction between oxidised ferroïn and oxalic acid in the presence of sulphate ion derived from eerie sulphate. Conditions have now been developed for the titration of oxalic acid with eerie sulphate at room temperature in lN hydrochloric acid medium using ferroïn as indicator, and barium ion as scavenger for sulphate ion, which latter markedly retards the reaction between oxalic acid and oxidised ferroïn, as well as that between oxalic acid and CeIV. The method now developed has several advantages over that prescribed by Willard and Young because it avoids the high temperature of 50°, where the ferroïn indicator is found to undergo some dissociation. It also avoids the use of the iodine monochloride catalyst.  相似文献

Kanamycin, a broad-spectrum antituberculosis antibiotic, was coupled to three different collagen substrates using l-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiirnide, glutaraldehyde, and periodiate-oxidized kanamycin possessing aldehyde functional groups. Kanamycin-treated collagen fibers have exhibited marked differences in their chemical contraction and relaxation, swelling, and shrinkage-temperature behavior compared to untreated collagen fibers. In an in vitro study, a release of 26% of the bound kanamycin from collagen-kanamycin complex was noticed.  相似文献
