The permittivity and loss of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) network crosslinked with trimethylol-1,1,1 propane and its interpenetrating network polymers with 10, 34, and 50% (by weight) poly(urethane) have been measured from 100 to 400 K over a frequency range of 12 to 1 × 105 Hz. Two relaxation processes, γ and β, are observed in the PMMA network, and a third process, αpu, in the 10% poly(urethane) IPN. At higher concentrations of poly(urethane), the γ process is removed from the temperature-frequency range of our study. Crosslinking in pure PMMA slows the segmental motions involved in the β process and raises its activation energy. Physical aging of the 10 wt% poly(urethane)-PMMA causes its γ process to become indiscernible and the αpu process to become better resolved. A discussion of these results in terms of local regions of segmental motion is provided.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a dynamic reconstruction algorithm which reconstructs the unknown unbounded input and all unobservable phase coordinates from the results of measurements of part of the coordinates. An upper and a lower bound for the accuracy of the reconstruction is obtained. We determine the class of inputs for which the upper bound is uniform. We give a condition for optimally matching the algorithm parameters, ensuring the highest order of the upper bound and equating the orders of the upper and lower bounds. We propose a method of evaluating the soft dilepton production rate in hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies based on summing the contributions from quark-antiquark systems (chains) created in individual hadron-nucleon interactions. The individual contributions are determined by using the square dependence of the soft dilepton production rate on hadron multiplicity predicted for hadron-hadron collisions by the soft-quarkannihilation model and observed recently inpp collisions at the CERN ISR. The possibility of additional contributions originating from the annihilation of quarks and antiquarks that belong to different chains is taken into account in a phenomenological way, which nevertheless enables to correlate different phenomena in soft dilepton production. More detailed predictions are given for proton-nucleus collisions at 200 GeV/c.  相似文献

We present a detailed analysis of the Mg 2p shallow core-levels measured on icosahedral single-grain ZnMgY, ZnMgHo, and ZnMgEr quasicrystals during a photoelectron microscopy study. The synchrotron radiation photoemission measurements were performed on in situ cleaved samples at a pressure of 10−10 mbar and at low temperature, typically 90-150 K. The Mg 2p photoemission lines are essentially broadened as compared to those of the Mg 2p spin-orbit doublet recorded on the Zn2Mg crystalline Laves phase. The broadening is associated to the coordination shifts of the Mg 2p level due to the inequivalent magnesium sites in the quasicrystalline lattice. The coordination shifts are calculated on the basis of i-ZnMg(Ho, Y) atomic structure data, recently determined from the pair distribution function analysis. The coordination shifts obtained are up to 0.2 eV. The Mg 2p experimental spectral intensity is nicely reproduced by a superposition of coordination-shifted Mg 2p spin-orbit doublets.  相似文献
