Separation of Anions of Organic Acids in Concentrated Solutions by Means of Capillary Isotachophoresis

The separation of a mixture containing anions of nine organic acids is investigated on an instrument for capillary isotachophoresis with an optical detector for the registration of boundaries. The separation is conducted in concentrated solutions of sodium salts. A counterflow is used during the separation.     

Determination of boric acid in high nickel content solutions by neutron absorption method

Determination of boric acid in high nickel content solutions during nickel cathode production was made by measuring the transmission loss of thermal neutrons. According to industrial requirements, adequate accuracy and reproducibility were obtained.     

Synthesis and Polar and Electrooptical Properties of a Butylamine Derivative of Fullerene C<Subscript>60</Subscript>

A butylamine derivative of fullerene was prepared by the reaction of butylamine with fullerene C₆₀. The experimental electrooptical and dipole characteristics of the derivative were compared with the corresponding calculated PM3 data. Influence of the conditions of manufacture of nanomeric zirconium dioxide,stabilized with yttrium oxide,on its catalytic properties in the oxidation of CO

The morphological and catalytic properties of samples of nanomeric zirconium dioxide, stabilized with yttrium oxide, manufactured via the effect of a UHF field during the process of drying precipitated zirconium hydroxide and calcination at temperatures from 300 to 1000 °C, were studied. An unusual new reaction of α-olefins with magnesiumn-alkyl derivatives catalyzed by Cp2ZrCl2

The reaction of organomagnesium compounds (OMC) containing alkyl radicals of normal structure with -olefins, resulting in the formation of alkenylorganomagnesium compounds and accompanied by hydride transfer was discovered and systematically investigated.
