In this study, benzenesulfonicacid‐1‐methylhydrazide (bsmh) derivatives such as 2‐hydroxy‐1‐naphtaldehydebenzenesulfonylhydrazone (Hnafbsmh) and its Ni(II), Pd(II), Pt(II), Cu(II), Co(II) complexes were synthesized. The structures of these complexes were investigated using elemental analyses (FT‐IR, LC‐MS, UV‐VIS), magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurement techniques. The complexes were found to have general compositions [ML2]. All the synthesized complexes were evaluated in vitro as antimicrobial agents against representative strains of six gram‐positive and four gram‐negative bacteria and as an antifungal agent by disc diffusion methods. All the bacteria and fungi studied were screened against some commercial antibiotics to compare them with our chemical's zone diameters. 相似文献

Novel solvent-impregnated resins (SIRs) were prepared by treatment of styrene–divinylbenzene copolymer (LPS-500) with mixtures of the promising polydentante extractant (2-diphenylphosphoryl)-4-ethylphenoxy)methyl)diphenylphosphine oxide (L) and an ionic liquid [C4mim]+[Tf2N]−for the extraction chromatography recovery of Nd(III) from nitric acid solutions. It was shown that introduction of the ionic liquid into the SIR composition results in considerable enhancement of the Nd(III) recovery efficiency compared with resin impregnated only by L in slightly acidic media. The influence of the L: ionic liquid molar ratio in the SIRs composition, their percentages, concentration of metal and HNO3 in the eluent, and acid type on the value of synergistic effect and adsorption efficiency of Nd(III) recovery was studied. The SIR containing 40% of mixture of L and [C4mim]+[Tf2N]− with molar ratio 2:1 turned out to be the most efficient. The selectivity of Nd(III) separation from light and heavy rare-earth elements was studied and the optimal conditions of Nd(III) adsorption recovery and stripping by this SIR were chosen. It was found that in recovery efficiency of Nd(III) developed SIR exceeded the SIR containing Cyanex 923 (a mixture of monodentate trialkylphosphine oxides) and [C4mim]+[Tf2N]−. 相似文献

The TiO2 nanoparticles are electrospun with polyacrylonitrile (PAN) polymer solution onto the discharged battery coal (DBC) electrode and the results are evaluated as a supercapacitor. The morphology and chemical composition of the synthesized TiO2 nanoparticles and PAN+TiO2 nanocomposite fibers were characterized by Scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetry and FTIR analysis. Supercapacitor measurements and electrochemical characterizations of the electrodes examined by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Electrochemical measurements showed that the best current value was obtained from PAN and TiO2 coated DBC. The performances of both PAN and PAN+TiO2 coated DBC electrodes were investigated as supercapacitors. PAN+TiO2/DBC showed the best specific capacitance value of 156.00 F g−1 and PAN/DBC showed 74.93 F g−1. In addition, PAN+TiO2/DBC exhibited reliable stability performance over 2000.00 cycles. 相似文献

The thermal behaviour of copolymers of thiophene with decanedioic acid bis-(2-thiophen-3-yl-ethyl)ester (DATE) and terephthalic acid bis-(2-thiophen-3-yl-ethyl)ester (TATE) prepared by potentiostatic polymerization was studied via pyrolysis mass spectrometry. It was determined that the electrolytic films correspond to the related homopolymers. The increase in thermal stability of ester linkages, and evolution of characteristic degradation products of TATE and DATE together with thiophene based products above 400 °C confirmed copolymer formation. 相似文献

Growth rate of polycrystalline disc of borax compressed at different pressure and rotated at various speed has been measured in a rotating disc crystallizer under well-defined conditions of supersaturation. It was found that the mass transfer coefficient, K, increased while overall growth rate constant, Kg, and surface reaction constant, kr, decreased with increasing smoothness of the disc. It was also determined that kinetic parameters (kr,r,K,g) of crystal growth rate of borax decreased with increasing rotating speed of the polycrystalline disc. The effectiveness factor was calculated from the growth rate data to evaluate the relative magnitude of the steps in series bulk diffusion through the mass transfer boundary layer and the surface integration. At low rotating speed of disc, the crystal growth rate of borax is mainly controlled by integration. However, both diffusion and integration steps affect the growth rate of borax at higher rotating speed of polycrystalline disc. 相似文献

We review new methodologies for glucose sensing from our laboratories based on the specific biological interactions between Con A, dextran-coated gold nanoparticles and glucose, and the interactions between dextran, glucose, and boronic-acid capped silver nanoparticles in solution. Our new approaches promise new tunable glucose sensing platforms. Dextran-coated gold nanoparticles were aggregated with the addition of Con A resulting in increase an in absorbance of nanoparticles at 650 nm, where the post-addition of glucose caused the dissociation of the aggregates and thus a decrease in the absorbance at 650 nm. The interaction of glucose and dextran with boronic acid-capped silver nanoparticles in solution resulted in enhanced luminescence intensity cumulatively due to surface-enhanced fluorescence and the decrease in absorbance at 400 nm, with an increase in absorbance at 640 nm. Lifetime measurements were used to distinguish the contribution from the surface-enhanced fluorescence. TEM was employed to assess the aggregation of nanoparticles. 相似文献

Compounds of the system FeAs2?xSex were ynthesized both as polycrystalline powders by direct combination of the elements and as single crystals by chemical vapor transport. Electrical and magnetic measurements were made on well-characterized samples. These measurements showed that the substitution of selenium for arsenic in the diamagnetic semiconductor FeAs2 results in metallic, paramagnetic behavior. These results are consistent with a band model proposed by Goodenough for compounds crystallizing in the marcasite structure. 相似文献
