Simultaneous third-derivative spectrophotometric determination of copper and nickel in iron alloys and aluminium alloy

A method is proposed for the simultaneous determination of copper and nickel by third-derivative spectrophotometry based on the absorption spectra of their complexes with cyanide ion in the ultraviolet range. The method allows the determination of 0.55-5.8 mug/ml of copper and 0.55-6.8 mug/ml of nickel. The relative standard deviation for 11 determinations of 1.5 mul/ml of copper and nickel were 0.78 and 0.72%, respectively. The detection limits were 0.10,mug/ml for nickel and 0.13 mug/ml for copper. The method has been applied to direct determination of copper and nickel in iron alloys and an aluminium alloy without any separation.

X-ray Crystal Structure and Molecular Mechanics Calculations of (2,6-iso-dipropyl-phenylamide) Dimethyl ( tetra-methylcyclopenta-dienyl ) Silane Titanium Dichloride

Crystal and molecular structure of (2,6-dipropylphenylamide) dimethyl (tetra-methyl cyclopentadienyl) silane titanium dichloride (I) was fully characterized by X-ray diffraction. The crystal is obtained from a mixture of ether/hexane as orthorhombic, with a = 12.658 (3) (A), b = 16.62 (3)(A), c = 11.760 (2)(A), V = 2474.2 (9)(A) 3, Z = 4, space group Pnma, R = 0.0399. Componud I compose of the π-bounded ring with its dimethylsilyl-dipropyl phenyl amido group and the two terminal chloride atoms coordinated to central metal to form a so-called constrained geometry catalyst (CGC) structure. The result of molecular mechanics (MM) calculations on compound I shows that bond lengths and bond angles from the MM calculation are comparable to the data obtained from the X-ray diffraction study. The relation of the structure of CGCs and their catalytic activity by MM calculations is also discussed.

硅基交联聚酸正丁酯反相HPLC固定相的研究

采用硅胶表面直接交联聚合法，制备了硅基交联聚丙烯酸正丁酯反相高效液相色谱固定相。用红外、扫描电镜和元素分析等方法对固定对进行了表征。考察了固定相对含氧芳烃衍生物的分离。     

Fourth-derivative spectrophotometric determination of neodymium in mixed rare earths with methyl thymol blue and cetylpyridinium chloride

A sensitive and selective method is described for the determination of neodymium in mixed rare earths using fourth-derivative spectrophotometry. The method is based on the absorption spectra of 4f electron transitions of the complex of neodymium with methyl thymol blue and cetylpyridinium chloride. The influence of various instrumental parameters and reaction conditions for maximum colour development are investigated. The calibration curve is linear over the range 0–3.5 g ml^–1 neodymium. The relative standard deviation for determination of 1.4 g ml^–1 neodymium (n = 7) is 1.6%. The detection limit (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) is 0.2 g ml^–1.

胺类化合物气相色谱保留指数与结构的相关性研究

应用Ａｍ指数和引力指数Ｇ１对在３种体系下的胺类化合物的气相色谱保留指数和结构进行了相关性研究,并运用最佳子变量集算法和人工神经网法进行了计算分析,在非极性固定相ＯＶ－１０１和极性固定相ＯＶ－２２５和ＮＧＡ下均获得了比较好的相关模型。
