This paper proposes an efficient approach for four-dimensional(4D) parameter estimation of plane waves impinging on a 2-L shape array. The 4D parameters include amplitude, frequency and the two-dimensional(2D) direction of arrival,namely, azimuth and elevation angles. The proposed approach is based on memetic computation, in which the global optimizer, particle swarm optimization is hybridized with a rapid local search technique, pattern search. For this purpose,a new multi-objective fitness function is used. This fitness function is the combination of mean square error and the correlation between the normalized desired and estimated vectors. The proposed hybrid scheme is not only compared with individual performances of particle swarm optimization and pattern search, but also with the performance of the hybrid genetic algorithm and that of the traditional approach. A large number of Monte–Carlo simulations are carried out to validate the performance of the proposed scheme. It gives promising results in terms of estimation accuracy, convergence rate, proximity effect and robustness against noise. 相似文献

We demonstrate the synthesis and investigate the electrical and optical characteristics of ‘nanocorals’ (NCs) composed of CuO/ZnO grown at low temperature through the hydrothermal approach. High-density CuO nanostructures (NSs) were selectively grown on ZnO nanorods (NRs). The synthesized NCs were used to fabricate p–n heterojunctions that were investigated by the current density–voltage (J–V) and the capacitance–voltage (C–V) techniques. It was found that the NC heterojunctions exhibit a well-defined diode behavior with a threshold voltage of about 1.52 V and relatively high rectification factor of ~760. The detailed forward J–V characteristics revealed that the current transport is controlled by an ohmic behavior for V≤0.15 V, whereas at moderate voltages 1.46≤V<1.5 the current follows a J? α?exp(βV) relationship. At higher voltages (≥1.5 V) the current follows the relation J? α? V 2, indicating that the space-charge-limited current mechanism is the dominant current transport. The C–V measurement indicated that the NC diode has an abrupt junction. The grown CuO/ZnO NCs exhibited a broad light absorption range that is covering the UV and the entire visible parts of the spectrum. 相似文献

Human adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) have generated a great deal of excitement in regenerative medicine. However, their safety and efficacy issue remain a major concern especially after long-term in vitro expansion. The aim of this study was to investigate the fundamental changes of ASCs in long-term culture by studying the morphological feature, growth kinetic, surface marker expressions, expression level of the senescence-associated genes, cell cycle distribution and ß-galactosidase activity. Human ASCs were harvested from lipoaspirate obtained from 6 patients. All the parameters mentioned above were measured at P5, P10, P15 and P20. Data were subjected to one-way analysis of variance with a Tukey post hoc test to determine significance difference (P?0.05). The data showed that growth of ASCs reduced in long-term culture and the ß-galactosidase activity was significantly increased at later passage (P20). The morphology of ASCs in long-term culture showed the manifestation of senescent feature at P15 and P20. Significant alteration in the senescence-associated genes expression levels was observed in MMP1, p21, Rb and Cyclin D1 at P15 and P20. Significant increase in CD45 and HLA DR DQ DP surface marker was observed at P20. While cell cycle analysis showed significant decrease in percentage of ASCs at S and G2/M phase at later passage (P15). Our data showed ASCs cultured beyond P10 favours the senescence pathway and its clinical usage in cell-based therapy may be limited. 相似文献

The cocrystals contain linear hydrogen‐bonded molecular tape structures along the [120] direction. The squarate monoanions form a ten‐membered dimer linked by two intermolecular O—H?O hydrogen bonds. We investigated how different doses of microwave irradiation (MR) affect seed germination in Sorghum, including the level of remediation against textile and surgical wastewater (WW) by modulating biochemical and morpho-physiological mechanisms under glutamic acid (GA) application. The experiment was conducted to determine the impact of foliar-applied GA on Sorghum under wastewater conditions. Plants were treated with or without microwave irradiation (30 s, 2.45 GHz), GA (5 and 10 mM), and wastewater (0, 25, 50, and 100). Growth and photosynthetic pigments were significantly decreased in plants only treated with various concentrations of WW. GA significantly improved the plant growth characteristics both in MR-treated and -untreated plants compared with respective controls. HMs stress increased electrolyte leakage (EL), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), and malondialdehyde (MDA) content; however, the GA chelation significantly improved the antioxidant enzymes activities such as ascorbate oxidase (APX), superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT) both in MR-treated and -untreated plants under WW stress compared with respective controls. The results suggested that the MR-treated plants accumulate higher levels of HMs under GA addition in comparison to the WW-only-treated and MR-untreated plants. The maximum increase in Cd accumulation was observed in the range of 14–629% in the roots, 15–2964% in the stems, and 26–4020% in the leaves; the accumulation of Cu was 18–2757% in the roots, 15–4506% in the stems, and 23–4605% in the leaves; and the accumulation of Pb was 13–4122% in the roots, 21–3588% in the stems, and 21–4990% in the leaves under 10 mM GA and MR-treated plants. These findings confirmed that MR-treated sorghum plants had a higher capacity for HMs uptake under GA and could be used as a potential candidate for wastewater treatment. 相似文献

A simple and sensitive stability indicating high performance liquid chromatography method was developed for quantification of Daclatasvir hydrochloride in bulk and tablet dosage forms. The analysis was performed on water symmetry analytical column (150 mm?×?3.9 mm, 5 µm), packing octyl silica (Si-[CH2]7-CH3) C8. Mobile phase containing potassium phosphate buffer (pH 2.0) and acetonitrile (38: 62) v/v was used at flow rate 0.7 mL min?1 for isocratic elution. Detection was performed on 304 nm using UV detector. The method was validated appropriately according to the requirements of United State Pharmacopeia and International Conference on Harmonization guideline Q2 (R1). Recovery, precision, linearity and specificity of the method were assured. The correlation coefficient for linearity ranged from 2 to 24 µg mL?1 was (r?>?0.9999). The limits of detection and quantification of Daclatasvir were 0.08 and 0.28 µg mL?1, respectively. Stability studies of Daclatasvir were performed under various stressed conditions, i.e., hydrolytic (acidic, basic and neutral), oxidation, photolytic and thermal conditions, according to International Conference on Harmonization Q1A (R2) and QIB Guidelines. The degradation products were resolved using proposed method and further characterized by MS, NMR and IR spectroscopic analyses. The connective eccentricity index (CEI) of a graph G is defined as , where εG(.) denotes the eccentricity of the corresponding vertex. The CEI obligates an influential ability, which is due to its estimating pharmaceutical properties. In this paper, we first characterize the extremal graphs with respect to the CEI among k-connected graphs (k-connected bipartite graphs) with a given diameter. Then, the sharp upper bound on the CEI of graphs with given connectivity and minimum degree (independence number) is determined. Finally, we calculate the CEI of two sets of molecular graphs: octane isomers and benzenoid hydrocarbons. We compare their CEI with some other distance-based topological indices through their correlations with the chemical properties. The linear model for the CEI is better than or as good as the models corresponding to the other distance-based indices. 相似文献
