In this study, the diffusion of photons in turbid media, like biological tissue has been studied. Due to scattering and absorption of photons in such media, the study of photon propagation in biological tissue is complicated. The several numerical methods have been presented to simulate the behavior of diffused photons. Recently, Boundary Integral Method (BIM) has been offered to simulate photon migration inside biological tissues. This method has advantage, e.g. lower computational time in compared with other numerical methods. In this study, the accuracy and precision of BIM compares with another numerical method like Monte Carlo technique and finite difference method, and also the calculated results obtained by BIM and Monte Carlo method evaluate with measured results. Furthermore, the effects of scattering and absorption coefficient of tissue on the measured signal are studied. 相似文献

Kinetics of chitosan fragmentation by ultrasonic irradiation at frequency of 20 kHz, and the effects of experimental variables (power of ultrasound, chitosan concentration and solution temperature) on fragmentation were investigated. The kinetics studies were followed by measuring solution viscosity of the original and its fragments, and determining average number of chain scission of the fragments. The effects of ultrasonic power, chitosan concentration and solution temperature on fragmentation process were followed by viscometry and size exclusion chromatography. The chemical structure of the original chitosan and its fragments were examined by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The experimental results showed that the rate of fragmentation increased with an increase in power of ultrasound. Chain scission increased with an increase in power of ultrasound; and solution temperature, but a decrease in chitosan concentration. The chemical structure and polydispersity of the original and the fragments were nearly identical. A model based on experimental data to describe the relationship between chain scission and experimental variables (power of ultrasound; irradiation time; reduced concentration, c[eta]; and solution temperature) was proposed. It was concluded that ultrasonic irradiation is a suitable method to perform partial depolymerization and to obtain moderate macromolecules from large ones. 相似文献

In this paper a simple low-loss planar waveguide wide-angle bend is proposed and analyzed. The waveguide bend of this work consists of a curved tapered angle such that its tapering can be adjusted for a minimum loss (maximum transmission coefficient) and small dimension of bend. The analysis is done using wide-angle BPM (beam propagation method) type Pade (4,4). The simulated results of different bends show that at the same transmission coefficient the area required for the proposed bends are smaller than those of the abrupt bends. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a controller based on active sliding mode theory to synchronize chaotic fractional-order systems in master-slave structure. Master and slave systems may be identical or different. Based on stability theorems in the fractional calculus, analysis of stability is performed for the proposed method. Finally, three numerical simulations (synchronizing fractional-order Lü-Lü systems, synchronizing fractional order Chen-Chen systems and synchronizing fractional-order Lü-Chen systems) are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller. This study presents the removal of Cd(II) from aqueous solution by the sorption process in the presence (sono-sorption) and absence (conventional method) of ultrasound. Batch experiments were conducted to study the main parameters such as sorbate concentration, amount of sorbent, contact time, and ultrasound intensity. In addition, the sorbate/sorbent concentration ratios were studied in two different ways: (a) in a constant sorbate concentration and variable amount of sorbent, (b) in a constant amount of sorbent and variable sorbate concentration. The results indicated that under proper conditions, there was a possibility to remove cadmium ion very fast and efficiently from aqueous solution. In addition, the intensity of ultrasound and the sorbate/sorbent concentration ratio were two important factors for the removal of this pollutant and therefore, this study was focused mostly on these two variables. 相似文献

Effect of operational parameters on degradation of Malachite Green by ultrasonic irradiation 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The aim of the present study was to apply ultrasonic technique to remove Malachite Oxalate Green (MG) from aqueous solution. An ultrasonic bath with frequency of 35 kHz was used to investigate the effect of different operational parameters such as MG concentration, power density, temperature, mechanical agitation and addition of EtOH, 2-PrOH and iso-BuOH. Decolorization of MG follows a first order kinetics and hydroxyl radicals have an important role in degradation of MG. The apparent reaction rate constant (k(ap)) was influenced by variation of operational parameters. The activation energy was 30.95 kJ/mol in temperature range of 21-34 degrees C, suggesting a diffusion-controlled reaction. Alcohols act as hydroxyl radicals scavengers having undesirable contribution. UV-vis spectral change of MG showed hypsochromic shift occurred with increasing sonication time, proposing N-demethylation process of MG. 相似文献

A new protocol of bidirectional quantum teleportation (BQT) is proposed in which the users can transmit a class of n-qubit state to each other simultaneously, by using (2n + 2)-qubit entangled states as quantum channel. The state of the art approaches can only transmit two-qubit states in each round. This scheme is based on control-not operation, single-qubit measurements and appropriate single-qubit unitary operations. It is shown that the protocol is secure in preparation phase. 相似文献

MMP-12 belongs to a large family of proteases called matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that degrades elastin. The main pathologic role of MMP-12 overexpression was suggested to be associated with pathogenesis mechanism of inflammatory respiratory diseases and atherosclerosis. An integrated ligand- and structure-based virtual screening was employed in hope of finding inhibitors with new scaffolds and selectivity for MMP-12. Seven compounds among 18 experimentally tested compounds had a measurable effect on the inhibition of MMP-12 enzyme. Our results demonstrated the applicability of the developed pharmacophore model and selected crystal structure (PDB code: 3F17) to discover new MMP-12 inhibitors. The receptor structure was selected based on cross-docking results. Here, we report the discovery of new class of MMP-12 inhibitors that could be used for lead optimization. For the inhibition of MMP-12, the significance of its interactions with the catalytic residues Glu219 and Ala182 was emphasized through the inspection of the docking poses. 相似文献

In this paper, the effects of interband and intraband transitions on the gain and phase stabilities in quantum dot semiconductor optical amplifier (QD-SOA) are investigated both temporally and spectrally employing electrical and optical pumping schemes. For this purpose, the carrier rate equations in different energy states coupled to the traveling wave optical field equation have been numerically solved to derive the dynamical behavior of QD-SOA. Our results show that the gain and phase response can be stabled under optical pumping (OP) scheme because the role of the interband and intraband transitions on the dynamics of QD-SOA is reduced. This behavior leads to high-speed pattern effect-free cross-phase modulation (XPM) in QD-SOA. It is found that optically pumped QD-SOA can have high performance in phase based applications. Moreover, it is shown that under OP scheme although the QD-SOA has lower gain value and slower gain recovery time, the ultrafast cross-gain modulation (XGM) without pattern effect is possible and the phase is recovered within a shorter time compared to EP scheme.
