A model of electrode reaction complicated by slow adsorption of the reactant is developed for square-wave voltammetry with inverse scan direction. The relationship between the dimensionless net peak current and the logarithm of dimensionless rate constant of adsorption is a curve with a minimum and a maximum. For this reason the ratio of real net peak current and the square-root of frequency is a non-linear function of the logarithm of frequency and exhibits either a maximum or a minimum. The frequency of extreme serves for the estimation of the rate constant: log(k ads /D 1/2 ) = log(k* ads )crit + 0.5 log f crit , where (k* ads ) crit is a critical dimensionless rate constant of adsorption. Square-wave voltammetry is sensitive to the kinetics of adsorption if k ads < 102 cm s−1   相似文献

We investigated the influence of edges and corners on the Anderson localization of light in disordered two-dimensional photonic lattices that are optically induced in nonlinear saturable photorefractive media. A systematic quantitative study of gradual transition from corner to bulk Anderson localization in truncated two-dimensional photonic lattices was carried out. We analyzed numerically the localization at several corners and edges of the square and triangular photonic lattices and compared them with the localization in bulk medium. We found that, for strong disorder, corners and edges effectively suppress Anderson localization, as compared to the bulk, but to a varying degree.  相似文献

On spherical microelectrodes, cyclic staircase voltammograms of reversible redox reactions complicated by the reactant adsorption depend on lateral interactions in the monolayer. Attraction forces increase the separation between the main wave and the post-peak, while the repulsion prevents the resolution of responses of the surface and volume reactions. The theoretical relationships between the dimensionless responses and the dimensionless adsorption constant, the relative surface adsorption capacity, the Frumkin coefficient and the electrode sphericity are given.  相似文献

A theory is provided for a reversible electro-oxidation of a neutral redox probe dissolved in room-temperature ionic liquid, which is sandwiched between an electrode surface and an aqueous solution as a thin film. If the peak potentials in cyclic voltammetry depend on the bulk concentration of electrolyte in water, the oxidation is most probably coupled to the transfer of anions from water into ionic liquid; but if the peak potentials are independent of the electrolyte concentration, the transfers of anions from water into ionic liquid and cations from ionic liquid into water are equally probable. This paper reveals bright, dark and singular soliton solutions to the perturbed Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation by the aid of extended Kudryashov’s method. The nonlinear terms appear with full nonlinearity in order to give a generalized flavor to the model. As a byproduct of this scheme, plane waves and singular periodic solutions fall out and these solutions are listed as well.  相似文献
