Heteroleptic copper(I) complexes CuPOP-F and CuFc-F have been prepared from a fullerene-substituted phenanthroline ligand and bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl] ether (POP) and 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppFc), respectively. Electrochemical studies indicate that some ground-state electronic interaction between the fullerene subunit and the metal-complexed moiety are present in both CuPOP-F and CuFc-F. Their photophysical properties have been investigated by steady state and time-resolved UV-vis-NIR luminescence spectroscopy and nanosecond laser flash photolysis in a CH2Cl2 solution and compared to those of the corresponding model copper(I) complexes CuPOP and CuFc and of the fullerene model compound F. Selective excitation of the methanofullerene moiety in CuPOP-F results in regular deactivation of the lowest singlet and triplet states, indicating no intercomponent interactions. Conversely, excitation of the copper(I)-complexed unit (405 nm, 40% selectivity) shows that the strongly luminescent triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer ((3)MLCT) excited state located at 2.40 eV is quenched by the carbon sphere with a rate constant of 1.6 x 10(8) s(-1). Details on the mechanism of photodynamic processes in CuPOP-F via transient absorption are hampered by the rather unfavorable partition of light excitation between the two chromophores. By determination of the yield of formation of the lowest fullerene triplet level through sensitized singlet oxygen luminescence in the NIR region, it is shown that the final sink of photoinduced processes is always the fullerene triplet. This can be populated via a two-step charge-separation charge-recombination process and a less favored (3)MLCT --> (3)C60 triplet-triplet energy-transfer pathway. In CuFc-F, both of the photoexcited copper(I)-complexed and fullerene moieties are quenched by the presence of the ferrocene unit, most likely via ultrafast energy transfer.  相似文献

Addition of 1 or 2 molar equiv of Rbtp [Rbtp = 2,6-bis(5,6-dialkyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)pyridine; R = Me, Pr ( n )] to UO 2(OTf) 2 in anhydrous acetonitrile gave the neutral compounds [UO 2(OTf) 2(Rbtp)] [R = Me ( 1), ( n )Pr ( 2)] and the cationic complexes [UO 2(Rbtp) 2][OTf] 2 [R = Me ( 3), Pr ( n ) ( 4)], respectively. No equilibrium between the mono and bis(Rbtp) complexes or between [UO 2(Rbtp) 2][OTf] 2 and free Rbtp in acetonitrile was detected by NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of 1 and 3 resemble those of their terpyridine analogues, and 3 is another example of a uranyl complex with the uranium atom in the unusual rhombohedral environment. In the presence of 1 molar equiv of Rbtp in acetonitrile, UO 2(NO 3) 2 was in equilibrium with [UO 2(NO 3) 2(Rbtp)] and the formation of the bis adduct was not observed, even with an excess of Rbtp. The X-ray crystal structures of [UO 2(NO 3) 2(Rbtp)] [R = Me ( 5), Pr ( n ) ( 6)] reveal a particular coordination geometry with seven coordinating atoms around the UO 2 fragment. The large steric crowding in the equatorial girdle forces the bidentate nitrate ligands to be almost perpendicular to the mean equatorial plane, inducing bending of the UO 2 fragment. The dinuclear oxo compound [U(CyMe 4btbp) 2(mu-O)UO 2(NO 3) 3][OTf] ( 7), which was obtained fortuitously from a 1:2:1 mixture of U(OTf) 4, CyMe 4btbp, and UO 2(NO 3) 2 [CyMe 4btbp = 6,6'-bis-(3,3,6,6-tetramethyl-cyclohexane-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)-2,2'-bipyridine] is a very rare example of a mixed valence complex involving covalently bound U (IV) and U (VI) ions; its crystal structure also exhibits a seven coordinate uranyl moiety, with one bidentate nitrate group almost parallel to the UO 2 fragment. The distinct structural features of [UO 2(kappa (2)-NO 3) 2(Mebtp)], with its high coordination number and a noticeable bending of the UO 2 fragment, and of [UO 2(kappa (2)-NO 3)(kappa (1)-NO 3)(terpy)], which displays a classical geometry, were analyzed by Density Functional Theory, considering the bonding energy components and the molecular orbitals involved in the interaction between the uranyl, nitrate, and Mebtp or terpy moieties. The unusual geometry of the Mebtp derivative with the seven coordinating atoms around the UO 2 fragment was found very stable. In both the Mebtp and terpy complexes, the origin of the interaction appears to be primarily steric (Pauli repulsion and electrostatic); this term represents 62-63% of the total bonding energy while the orbital term contributes to about 37-38%.  相似文献

Erbium L(3)-edge extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) measurements were performed on rare earth doped fluorosilicate and fluoroborate glasses and glass ceramics. The well known nucleating effects of erbium ions for the crystallization of cubic lead fluoride (based on x-ray diffraction measurements) and the fact that the rare earth ions are present in the crystalline phase (as indicated by Er(3+) emission spectra) seem in contradiction with the present EXAFS analysis, which indicates a lack of medium range structural ordering around the Er(3+) ions and suggests that the lead fluoride crystallization does not occur in the nearest neighbor distance of the rare earth ion. Molecular dynamics simulations of the devitrification process of a lead fluoride glass doped with Er(3+) ions were performed, and results indicate that Er(3+) ions lower the devitrification temperature of PbF(2), in good agreement with the experimental results. The genuine role of Er(3+) ions in the devitrification process of PbF(2) has been investigated. Although Er(3+) ions could indeed act as seeds for crystallization, as experiments suggest, molecular dynamics simulation results corroborate the experimental EXAFS observation that the devitrification does not occur at its nearest neighbor distance.  相似文献

Treatment of [Ln(BH 4) 3(THF) 3] (Ln = Ce, Nd) with 3 and 4 mol equiv of KSBT in tetrahydrofuran (THF) led to the formation of [Ln(SBT) 3(THF)] and [K(THF)Ln(SBT) 4], respectively. The uranium(IV) compound [U(SBT) 4(THF) 2] was obtained from U(BH 4) 4 and was reversibly reduced by sodium amalgam into the corresponding anionic uranium(III) complex. The crystal structures of [Ln(SBT) 3(THF) 2] (Ln = Ce, Nd), [K(15-crown-5) 2][Nd(SBT) 4], [U(SBT) 4(THF)], and [K(15-crown-5) 2][U(SBT) 4(py)] show the bidentate coordination mode and the thionate character of the SBT ligand.  相似文献

By using a recently developed Monte Carlo algorithm and an exact numerical method, we calculate the translocation probability and the average translocation time for charged heterogeneous polymers driven through a nanopore by an external electric field. The heteropolymer chains are composed of two types of monomers (A and B) which differ only in terms of their electric charge. We present an exhaustive study of chains composed of eight monomers by calculating the average translocation time associated with the 256 possible arrangements for various ratios of the monomer charges (lambda(A)lambda(B)) and electric field intensities E. We find that each sequence leads to a unique value of the translocation probability and time. We also show that the distribution of translocation times is strongly dependent on the two forces felt by the monomers ( approximately lambda(A)E and approximately lambda(B)E). Finally, we present results that highlight the effect of having repetitive patterns by studying the translocation times of various block copolymer structures for a very long chain composed of N=2(18) monomers (all with the same number of A and B monomers).  相似文献

We describe the elaboration of ultra-sensitive immunosensors, to detect the bacterial pathogen Staphylococcus aureus. We utilized commercially available polyclonal anti-S. aureus antibody as receptor. Immunosensors were elaborated by building a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of thiolamine onto planar gold-coated sensor chips. Then, Protein A was covalently linked to the thiolated SAM using glutaraldehyde as cross-linking agent. After a blocking step by Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), the antibody was immobilized by affinity to Protein A. This step-by-step construction was monitored by Polarization Modulation Reflection Absorption Infrared Spectroscopy (PM-RAIRS) and Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation (QCM-D). In a first stage, the parameters of immunosensor elaboration were optimized using a model rabbit IgG. The accessibility of receptors and the homogeneity of their distribution were checked by PM-RAIRS, QCM-D, and by immuno-gold scanning electron microscopy. Then, the specific rabbit anti-S. aureus antibody was immobilized and the resulting sensing layer was applied to the detection of the pathogen target. Independent detection of bacteria immobilized on the sensors by fluorescent imaging allowed validation of the specificity of recognition toward the pathogen as well as a quantitative response of the sensor. Using PM-RAIRS as transducing technique allowed us to enhance sensitivity and reach a very competitive detection level (105 CFU mL?1).  相似文献

A stereoselective one-pot double derivatization of cyclobutene-1-carboxylic acid via a mild organic base catalyzed amidation/aza-Michael addition of benzo[d]oxazol-2(3H)-ones has been developed. This unprecedented tandem reaction provides access to novel β-N-heterocyclic cyclobutane carboximide derivatives with a trans geometry. The carboximide moiety reacts smoothly with nucleophiles, allowing access to diverse derivatives of trans-β-N-heterocyclic cyclobutanecarboxylic acid, including peptidomimetic structures.  相似文献

A novel single lithium‐ion (Li‐ion) conducting polymer electrolyte is presented that is composed of the lithium salt of a polyanion, poly[(4‐styrenesulfonyl)(trifluoromethyl(S‐trifluoromethylsulfonylimino)sulfonyl)imide] (PSsTFSI?), and high‐molecular‐weight poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO). The neat LiPSsTFSI ionomer displays a low glass‐transition temperature (44.3 °C; that is, strongly plasticizing effect). The complex of LiPSsTFSI/PEO exhibits a high Li‐ion transference number (tLi+=0.91) and is thermally stable up to 300 °C. Meanwhile, it exhibits a Li‐ion conductivity as high as 1.35×10?4 S cm?1 at 90 °C, which is comparable to that for the classic ambipolar LiTFSI/PEO SPEs at the same temperature. These outstanding properties of the LiPSsTFSI/PEO blended polymer electrolyte would make it promising as solid polymer electrolytes for Li batteries.  相似文献

Reversible hydrogen storage under ambient conditions has been identified as a major bottleneck in enabling a future hydrogen economy. Herein, we report an amorphous vanadium(III) alkyl hydride gel that binds hydrogen through the Kubas interaction. The material possesses a gravimetric adsorption capacity of 5.42 wt % H2 at 120 bar and 298 K reversibly at saturation with no loss of capacity after ten cycles. This corresponds to a volumetric capacity of 75.4 kgH2 m?3. Raman experiments at 100 bar confirm that Kubas binding is involved in the adsorption mechanism. The material possesses an enthalpy of H2 adsorption of +0.52 kJ mol?1 H2, as measured directly by calorimetry, and this is practical for use in a vehicles without a complex heat management system.  相似文献

Set functions are widely used in many domains of operations research (cooperative game theory, decision under risk and uncertainty, combinatorial optimization) under different names (TU-game, capacity, nonadditive measure, pseudo-Boolean function, etc.). Remarkable families of set functions form polyhedra, e.g., the polytope of capacities, the polytope of p-additive capacities, the cone of supermodular games, etc. Also, the core of a set function, defined as the set of additive set functions dominating that set function, is a polyhedron which is of fundamental importance in game theory, decision-making and combinatorial optimization. This survey paper gives an overview of these notions and studies all these polyhedra.  相似文献
