Higher dimensional Enriques varieties and automorphisms of generalized Kummer varieties

We define Enriques varieties as a higher dimensional generalization of Enriques surfaces and construct examples by using fixed point free automorphisms on generalized Kummer varieties. We also classify all automorphisms of generalized Kummer varieties that come from an automorphism of the underlying abelian surface.     

Embedding of Biological Regulatory Networks and Property Preservation

In the course of understanding biological regulatory networks (BRN), scientists usually start by studying small BRNs that they believe to be of particular importance to represent a biological function, and then, embed them in a larger network. Such a reduction can lead to neglect relevant regulations and to study a network whose properties can be very different from the properties of this network viewed as a part of the whole. In this paper we study, from a logical point of view, on which conditions concerning both networks, properties can be inherited by BRNs from sub-BRNs. We give some conditions on the nature of the network embeddings ensuring that dynamic properties on the embedded sub-BRNs are preserved at the level of the whole BRN.     

H?lder metric regularity of set-valued maps

This paper is devoted to metric regularity of set-valued maps from a complete metric space to a Banach space. In particular we extend a known characterization of the regularity modulus to maps defined on reflexive spaces. The higher order metric regularity, i.e. an extension of metric regularity to H?lder context, is also investigated using high order variations of set-valued maps and results of similar nature are obtained for conical metric regularity.     

Space models of degree g+1 of curves of genus g

Circularly Polarized Luminescence from Cyclic (Alkyl)(Amino) Carbene Derived Propellers

Organic circularly polarized luminescence (CPL)-active molecular emitters featuring dynamic propeller-like luminophores were prepared in one step from cyclic(alkyl)(amino) carbenes (CAACs). These molecules exhibit through-space arene-arene π-delocalization and rapid intramolecular inter-system crossing (ISC) in line with their helical character.     

Mannich-Type Reactions of Alkylzinc Reagents

Mannich-type reactions involving alkylzinc reagents have been developed using different strategies. We show that the addition of these organometallic species to sulfonyl imines occurs upon simple heating and affords Mannich products in moderate to excellent yields (14 examples, 30–99 %). Interestingly, N-alkyl imines were also found to be suitable partners after activation as an acyliminium by acetyl chloride (12 examples, 49–86 %) or, more originally, by TMSCl (14 examples, 26–87 %). These methods proved complementary, leading to the preparation of both N-protected secondary or tertiary amines and N-unprotected secondary amines in good yields, with an increased eco-compatibility, and under simple conditions.
