Study on the Phase Diagram of CsCl-CeCl3-HCl(11%)-H2O System and the Properties of the Compounds

The equilibrium solubility of CsCl-CeCl3-HCl(11%)-H2O qua-ternary system at 25℃ has been determined by the physicchemical analysis method ,and the phase diagram was plotted, Two new double salts 3CsCl.CeCl3.3H2O and CsCl.CeCl3.4H2O obtained from the complicated system were identified and characterized by XRD,TG-DTA ,DSC,UV and fluorescence spectroscopy, Studies on the fluorescence excitation and emission show that 3CsCl.CeCl3.3H2O and CsCl.CeCl3.4H2O have upconversion luminescence of infrared-visible range,and the upconversion emission intensity increases with the increase of ratio of CeCl3 in CsCl.     

High-performance liquid chromatography of sulfonamides and quinolones on p-tert-butyl-calix[6]arene-bonded silica gel stationary phase

The high-performance liquid chromatographic behavior of some sulfonamides and quinolones was studied on a p-tert-butyl-calix[6]arene-bonded silica gel stationary phase. The effect of mobile phase variables such as methanol content, ionic strength and pH on their chromatographic behavior was investigated. The retention behavior of sulfonamides on the stationary phase was compared with that on both Zorbax C₁₈-bonded silica gel and γ-(ethylenediamino)propyltriethoxylsilane-bonded silica gel (diamino-bonded phase). The retention mechanism of sulfonamides and quinolones on the stationary phase was also discussed. The results indicate that the stationary phase behaves as a reversed-phase packing and its separation selectivity is much better than that of not only Zorbax C₁₈ phase but also diamino-bonded phase. Some sulfonamides and quinolones were separated on the stationary phase, but the separation of sulfonamides is far more successful.     

Electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometric study of the aconitines in the roots of aconite

Fragmentation pathways of aconitine-type alkaloids were investigated by electrospray ionization/ion trap multistage tandem mass spectrometry. Low-energy collision-induced dissociation of protonated aconitines follows a dominant first step, the elimination of the C(8)-substituent as acetic acid or fatty acid in MS(2) spectra. Successive losses of 1-4 CH(3)OH molecules, 1-3 H(2)O, CO, benzoic acid, and CH(3) or C(2)H(5) (N-substituents) are all fragmentation pathways observed in MS(3) and MS(4) spectra. By applying knowledge of these fragmentation pathways to the aconitines in the ethanolic extract of aconite roots, all the known aconitines were detected and also 23 unknown aconitine-type alkaloids, in which the lipo-alkaloids containing residues of 15C, 17C and 19C saturated or unsaturated fatty acids were characterized. These odd-carbon-number fatty acid substituents have not been reported previously.     

Structural determinants of steroids for cytochrome P450 3A4-mediated metabolism

Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4), a major member of cytochrome P450 isoenzymes, metabolizes the majority of steroids in 6β-position. For the purpose of determining requisite structural features of a series of structurally related steroids for CYP3A4-mediated metabolism, three-dimensional pharmacophore modeling as well as electrotopological state map were conducted for 15 steroids. Though prior studies speculated that the chemical reactivity of the allylic 6β-position might have a greater influence on CYP3A4 selective 6-hydroxylation than steric constraints in the enzyme, our results reveal that for CYP3A4 steroidal substrates, it is not the chemical reactivity of atoms at 6β-site, but the pharmacophoric features, i.e. the two hydrophobic rings together with two H-bond donors, that act as the key factors responsible for determining the CYP3A4 selective 6-hydroxylation of steroids.     

A light-driven rotaxane molecular shuttle with dual fluorescence addresses

[reaction: see text] A molecular shuttle containing an alpha-CD macrocycle, an azobenzene unit, and two different fluorescent naphthalimide units was synthesized. The cis-trans photoisomerization of the azobenzene unit resulted in the motion of the CD macrocycle on the track. Because of the easy regulation and full reversibility of the fluorescence change of the two stopper units, the molecular shuttle could be used as a molecular storage medium or switch with all-optical inputs and outputs.     

Synthesis of the C16-C35 fragment of integramycin using olefin hydroesterification as a linchpin reaction

[reaction: see text] The spiroketal unit of the HIV-integrase inhibitor integramycin has been prepared in an efficient and convergent manner. Key steps in this sequence include the use of ruthenium-mediated hydroesterification reactions of homoallylic alcohols and silyl ethers, and a C,O-dianionic addition into a lactone provides the spiroketal while minimizing protecting group manipulations.     

Sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry method for determination of steviol in rat plasma

The main toxicological concern of stevioside, a highly potent sweetener from S. rebaudiana, is its main metabolite, steviol. To determine very low levels of steviol in in vivo experiments, a sensitive liquid chromatography/atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometry (LC/APCI-MS) method was developed for quantifying steviol in rat plasma after oral administration of a single dose of stevioside (0.5 g/kg). The sample preparation uses liquid-liquid extraction with tert-butyl methyl ether in an acidic environment. The retention time of steviol was 10.5 min. The assay was linear over the range 2-1000 ng/mL with a lower limit of detection of 1 ng/mL. The intra- and inter-day precision were <5 and <7%, respectively, and the accuracy was in the range 95-108%. The steviol concentration profile in rat plasma was determined.     

Liquid chromatography amperometric detection of carboxylic acids and phenolic acids with a copper-based chemically-modified electrode

A copper-based chemically-modified electrode has been constructed and characterized by various experimental parameters in flow-through amperometric detection of carboxylic acids and phenolic acids. Novel hydrodynamic voltamperograms were first obtained in flow-through amperometric detection with the Cu-based CME and subsequently negative and positive peaks were observed in a single chromatogram. This unique and flexible potential dependence could be of great benefit in chromatographic speciation and quantification. These observations suggest that the detector response was governed by the complexation reaction of copper ions with the solutes.     

羊睾丸,梅花鹿胎盘提取液中铅的测定

利用火焰原子吸收法直接测定羊睾丸，梅花鹿胎盘提取液中铅的含量，实验结果表明，两种提以液中均含有铅，梅花鹿胎盘提取液铅含量低于羊睾丸，透析液组高于超滤液组，这一结果为合理开发利用羊睾丸，梅花鹿胎盘提取液提供一定的数据。
