Abnormally long C-C single bonds are found in the polycyclic caged diol with a pentacyclo[6.3.0.1(4,11).0(2,6).0(5,10)]dodecane skeleton formed by photolysis (see scheme). This skeleton resembles the structure of diamantane, but instead of having six cyclohexane rings in a chair conformation it contains only two cyclohexane rings in a distorted chair conformation and four cyclopentane rings, which makes it more highly strained than diamantane. 相似文献

A routing R in a graph consists of a simple path puvfromu to v for each ordered pair of distinct vertices (u, v). We will call R optimal if all the paths puvare shortest paths and if edges of the graph occur equally often in the paths of R. In 1994, Solé gave a sufficient condition involving the automorphism group for a graph to have an optimal routing in this sense. Graphs which satisfy Solé’s condition are called orbital regular graphs. It is often difficult to determine whether or not a given graph is orbital regular. Policies and criteria for the accreditation of testing laboratories in Korea are reviewed according to the laws and regulations within the organizational framework. According to the Weights and Measures Act, the administrator of Korean Industrial Advancement Administration (KIAA) may accredit qualified testing laboratories in Korea. Criteria, procedures, and surveillance of accredited laboratories are specified in the Enforcement Regulation of the Weights and Measures Act drawn up by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy. Further detailed accreditation criteria and processes are prescribed in the Operation Guideline for the Accreditation of Testing Laboratories prepared by the KIAA. The Korean Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS) of the KIAA is the authorized representative institution for the accreditation of testing laboratories in compliance with the ISO Guides 25/58 and the Operation Guideline for the Accreditation of Testing Laboratories. Passive mode-locking in flashlamp-pumped dye lasers is investigated employing a theoretical model presented previously. It is shown that under typical experimental conditions, the flashlamp-pumped dye laser can be operated in the quasi-continuous regime where the output pulses are close to being steady-state pulses (SSP). This investigation concerns the application of a special method of successive approximations to the solution of a practically motivated, nonlinear problem of the bending of a uniformly loaded circular plate supported on a concentric circle. We report the results of a model study of the influence of vibronic coupling involving non-totally symmetric vibrations and static crystal field interactions on the spectral properties of molecules with close-lying excited electronic states. The presented results suggests that “proximity effects” brought about by solvent perturbation arise from two sources: (i) alterations in the energy separation between vibronically coupled electronic states and (ii) crystal field mixing of the isolated molecular electronic states. It is shown that crystal field mixing leads to the breakdown of the vibronic coupling scheme for non-totally symmetric vibrations in isolated molecules. This breakdown is shown to have a very pronounced effect on the spectral properties of molecules with close-lying excited electronic states. The effect of environmental perturbations on excited state frequencies, the breakdown of symmetry and polarization selection rules, and vibrational intensity distributions is discussed. 相似文献

In a Talbot interferometer the self image of a periodic pattern, such as a Ronchi ruling of period d, illuminated by a monochromatic plane wavefront of wavelength λ, is formed at distances which are integral multiples of 2d2/λ. A refracting object placed in front of the Ronchi ruling distorts the self image. A computer generated pattern can be designed, such that, when placed in a self imaging plane, a uniform intensity or a distinct moire pattern characterising a standard object is obtained. Diluted magnetic semiconductor Co-doped ZnO film has been synthesized by a dual beam pulsed laser deposition method. The magnetic, electrical, and optical properties of the Zn0.985Co0.015O0.67 film are studied in this paper. The film shows ferromagnetic behavior with a coercivity of about 300 Oe at room temperature, and semiconductor behavior with carrier concentration of 2.2×1018 cm-3, and a resistivity of 102 mcm. Structural investigations indicated that the film has similar lattice constants to that of ZnO. It is shown that the film exhibits excellent optical properties with a band gap energy of 3.31 eV, which is close to that of ZnO. The origins of the magnetism are also discussed. We have installed two nanomanipulators, which can travel about 20mm with a minimum increment of 1 nm, for manipulation of nanostructured materials inside field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM). Both manipulators render motions in x, y, and z directions, providing various manipulation freedoms such as moving, bending, cutting, and biasing. In addition, we have conducted in situ characterization of the electrical breakdown of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). Our results demonstrate the possibility that MWCNTs can be used as a gas sensor. 相似文献
