Peclet number analysis is performed to probe the convective motion of nanospheres and nanorods under the influence of magnetophoresis and diffusion. Under most circumstances, magnetophoretic behaviour dominates diffusion for nanorods, as the magnetic field lines tend to align the magnetic moment along the rod axis. The synthesis and dispersion of fluorophore-tagged nanorods are described. Fluorescence microscopy is employed to image the nanorod motion in a magnetic field gradient. The preliminary experimental data are consistent with the Peclet number analysis. 相似文献

Pain measurement is commonly required in biomedical and other emergency situations, yet there has been no pain biosensor reported in literature. Conventional approaches for pain measurement relies on Wong‐Baker face diagrams, which are grossly inadequate for situations involving children or unconscious people. We report a label‐free immunosensor for monitoring the pain biomarker cylooxygenase‐2 (COX‐2) in blood. The sensor is based on the concept of metal‐enhanced detection (MED). MED relies on the idea that the immobilization of underpotential deposition (upd) metallic films deposited either as a monolayer or electrostatically held onto a solid gold substrate could significantly amplify bimolecular recognition such as involving antigen‐antibody (Ab‐Ag) interactions. The surface bound Ab‐Ag complex insulates the electrode; causing a decrease in concentration‐dependent redox signals. A linear detection range of (3.64–3640.00)×10?4 ng/mL was recorded with a detection limit of 0.25×10?4 ng/mL, which was 4 orders of magnitude lower than that reported for ELISA for the same biomarker. The immunosensor exhibited selectivity of less than 6 % for potential interferents. 相似文献

instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA). Five biological certified reference materials, NIST SRM were used for analytical
quality control. The results were compared with those of common Korean foods reported, and these results will be applied toward

Several types of chalcones containing 2H‐chromen group were synthesized. Claisen–Schmidt condensation of 2H‐chromen‐3‐carbaldehydes (I) with methoxy substituted acetophenones afforded (E)‐3‐(2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)‐1‐(methoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐ones (chromenylchalcones, 1–7). Other types of chromenylchalcone, (E)‐1‐(6‐methoxy‐2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)‐3‐(methoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐ones (8–13) were also obtained between reaction of methoxy substituted benzaldehydes and 1‐(6‐methoxy‐2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)ethanone (II). Dichromenylchalcones (14–16) were also synthesized through the same reaction between aldehydes (I) and ketone (II). Their complete 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR assignments are reported here and more polysubstituted chromenylchalcones synthesized or isolated from the natural sources in the future can be identified on the basis of the NMR data reported here. Herein we report 22 acedan‐derived, two‐photon fluorophores with synthetic feasibility and full coverage of visible wavelength emission. Methyl esterification of 8, accompanied by transacetalization, led to the dihydrooxindole derivative 10. Aromatization of 10 was then accomplished with POCl(3), leading directly to the key-intermediate title compound 11 in 74% yield from ketone 6. An elimination product, 8, was always formed as the major product during removal of the protecting groups under acidic or basic conditions. Relative intensity fluctuations in single-mode class B lasers, i.e., a laser diode (LD) and a microchip Nd YVO(4) solid-state laser (SSL), were examined. Experimental observations revealed significant difference in the characteristics of the LD and the SSL. A stochastic laser model and the Fokker-Planck equation approach were used, and reduced moment equations were developed. A close agreement was achieved between the theoretical and experimental results. As indicated by the theoretical analysis, the intrinsic parameter of the lasers; i.e., the time ratio between the lifetimes of the carrier density (population inversion) and the photons, is crucial to fluctuation dynamics. 相似文献
