Following the recent discovery that traditional silver(I) oxide-promoted glycosidations of glycosyl bromides (Koenigs–Knorr reaction) can be greatly accelerated in the presence of catalytic TMSOTf, reported herein is a dedicated study of all major aspects of this reaction. A thorough investigation of numerous silver salts and careful refinement of the reaction conditions led to an improved mechanistic understanding. This, in turn, led to a significant reduction in the amount of silver salt required for these glycosylations. The progress of this reaction can be monitored by naked eye, and the completion of the reaction can be judged by the disappearance of characteristic dark color of Ag2O. Further evidence on higher reactivity of benzoylated α-bromides in comparison to that of their benzylated counterparts has been acquired. 相似文献

In this paper we describe a phase-conjugate scheme in which the pump waves are derived from a distorted optical beam by a spatial filtering technique. Experimental demonstration of this scheme is given for phase-distortion correction. To avoid the problem of back reflection a quasi-real-time reconstruction scheme is adopted. An attempt is made to explain the lower resonance anomaly in the thermal conductivity of Ni-doped Al2O3 by using τr ~ ω-4s(ω2 ? ω2r)2. Asymptotic behavior of the pion form factors has been discussed treating pion as a bound state of the elementary nucleon and antinucleon system. The matrix-element of the electromagnetic current is written in terms of the Bethe-Salpeter amplitude for the nucleon-antinucleon bound system. Using suitable approximations the Bethe-Salpeter equation for nucleon-antinucleon bound state with nucleons as Dirac spinors has been solved and the corresponding off-shell pion form factors are determined. The form factors are strongly interaction dependent. For coupling the form factors vanish asymptotically like t?1 and for the form factors still vanish but less rapidly than t?1. 相似文献

A comparative study of stopping power codes for different ions in compounds has been made by comparing the computed stopping
power values using different codes with the corresponding experimental data. Two computer codes, semiempirical SRIM2006.02
and theoretical CasP3.2 have been used to evaluate and compare the stopping powers of different compounds for protons (125
KeV), helium (500 KeV) and lithium ion (175 KeV) projectiles. The energy behaviour of stopping power of various compounds
for helium ion in the energy range (0.3–2.0 MeV) has been studied. The merits and demerits of the adopted formulations are
highlighted. It has been observed that the calculation based on SRIM2006.02 provides the best agreement with the experimental
data as compared to CasP3.2 code. The stopping power contribution due to target and projectile excitation/ionization at low
energies has been evaluated and discussed with reference to CasP3.2 code. From these comparative studies it has been concluded
that the target and projectile excitation-ionization increases the stopping power (>20%) at lower energies. 相似文献

Optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) is emerging and promising alternative for future high-speed photonic networks because of its ability to accommodate higher bit rate and flexible bandwidth. Among other factors the performance of an OTDM system largely depends upon the switching characteristics of a de-multiplexer (DEMUX). Symmetric Mach-Zehnder (SMZ) have been found to be most suitable than all the available de-multiplexing switches because of compact size, thermal stability, and low power operation. In this paper, we simulate four-channel OTDM systems (all channel multiplexer (MUX) and DEMUX) with a Mach-Zehnder modulator and SMZ DEMUX to investigate the impact of signal power, pulse width and control signal power on BER. 相似文献
