Passive harmonic mode locked all-normal-dispersion Yb-doped fibre lasers

Passive harmonic mode-locking of dissipative solitons is demonstrated in all-normal dispersion Yb-doped fibre lasers.A difference equation model of the mode-locked fibre lasers is adopted to simulate the intra-cavity nonlinear dynamics.Hysteresis phenomena around the mode-locking threshold,and the effect of introducing linear phase bias are discussed.The passive harmonic mode-locking as one kind of multipulsing operations is revealed.Moreover,the simulation shows the bistability between multipulsing and single-pulse or period multiplication.     

The dynamics of one-dimensional random quantum XY system with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction

In this paper,the effects of random variables on the dynamics of the s = 1/2 XY model with the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction are studied.By means of the recurrence relation method in the high-temperature limit,we calculate the spin autocorrelation functions as well as the corresponding spectral densities for the cases that the exchange couplings between spins or external magnetic fields satisfy the double-Gaussian distribution.It is found that when the standard deviation of random exchange coupling δJ(or the standard deviation of random external field δB) is small,the dynamics of the system undergoes a crossover from a collective-mode behavior to a central-peak one.However,when δJ(or δB) is large,the crossover vanishes,and the system shows a central-peak behavior or the most disordered one.We also analyze the cases in which the exchange couplings or the external fields satisfy the bimodal and the Gaussian distributions.Our results show that for all the cases considered,the dynamics of the above system is similar to that of the one-dimensional random XY model.     

Ar?NO团簇的同步辐射光电离研究

利用国家同步辐射实验室合肥光源的真空紫外同步辐射，使NO分子和Ar原子混合物的超声分子束发生光电离，测量了Ar，NO和异类团簇Ar·NO的光电离效率谱. 在谱中，在与Ar原子的共振线对应的能量区域(11.5—12.0 eV)观察到一个强的类共振结构. 这个结果表明，在异类团簇Ar·NO的内部，稀有气体Ar原子的激发能转移到与它接触的分子NO上，使分子NO发生电离. 关键词： Ar·NO团簇 同步辐射 光电离 能量转移     

Measurements of the cross section for e(+)e(-) --> hadrons at center-of-mass energies from 2 to 5 GeV

We report values of R = sigma(e(+)e(-)-->hadrons)/sigma(e(+)e(-)-->mu(+)mu(-)) for 85 center-of-mass energies between 2 and 5 GeV measured with the upgraded Beijing Spectrometer at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider.     

Temperature dependence of excitonic luminescence from nanocrystalline ZnO films

The properties of the excitonic luminescence for nanocrystalline ZnO thin films are investigated by using the dependence of excitonic photoluminescence (PL) spectra on temperature. The ZnO thin films are prepared by thermal oxidation of ZnS films prepared by low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (LP-MOCVD) technique. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) indicates that ZnO thin films have a polycrystalline hexagonal wurtzite structure with a preferred (0 0 2) orientation. A strong ultraviolet (UV) emission peak at 3.26 eV is observed, while the deep-level emission band is barely observable at room temperature. The strength of the exciton-longitudinal-optical (LO) phonon coupling is deduced from the temperature dependence of the full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of the fundamental excitonic peak, decrease in exciton-longitudinal-optical (LO) phonon coupling strength is due to the quantum confinement effect.

Measurement of the thickness profile of a transparent thin film deposited upon a pattern structure with an acousto-optic tunablefilter

A simultaneous volumetric thickness-profile measurement method based on an acousto-optic tunable filter for transparent film deposited upon pattern structures is described. The nondestructive thickness profilometer prevents the destruction of samples such as one encounters in using a scanning-electron microscope and provides good accuracy. The information on the volumetric thickness profile is obtained through least-squares fitting with a phase model, ?(model)(k)=2kh+? (k, d)+(offset) , which has three unknowns: surface profile h, thickness d, and an indeterminate initial phase offset. Accurate phase information in the spectral domain can be obtained by introduction of the concept of spectral carrier frequency. Experimental results for a metal patterned sample show that the volumetric thickness profile can be determined within an error range of ~10 nm .     

分子内氢键对芳氢化学位移值影响的研究

通过对19个酚类化合物¹H NMR谱的研究和分析发现,酚羟基形成分子内氢键后,使对位芳氢化学位移值向高场变化的幅度大于邻位,其差值约为0.1ppm-0.3ppm.     

Quantum interference and ballistic transmission in nanotube electron waveguides

The electron transport properties of well-contacted individual single-walled carbon nanotubes are investigated in the ballistic regime. Phase coherent transport and electron interference manifest as conductance fluctuations as a function of Fermi energy. Resonance with standing waves in finite-length tubes and localized states due to imperfections are observed for various Fermi energies. Two units of quantum conductance 2G(0) = 4e(2)/h are measured for the first time, corresponding to the maximum conductance limit for ballistic transport in two channels of a nanotube.     

车辆的长度和速度对单车道混合交通流的影响

在NaSch交通流模型的基础上，建立了单车道上由两种长度不一样、可分别以不同最大速度行驶的车辆构成的混合交通流模型.在周期性边界条件下，通过计算机模拟研究了车辆的长度、最大速度和混合比例系数对混合交通流的影响. 关键词： 元胞自动机 混合交通流 计算机模拟
