The reaction of the group 9 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [Cp*M(SH)2(PMe3)] (M=Rh, Ir; Cp*=eta(5)-C 5Me5) with the group 6 nitrosyl complexes [Cp*M'Cl2(NO)] (M'=Mo, W) in the presence of NEt3 affords a series of bis(sulfido)-bridged early-late heterobimetallic (ELHB) complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (2a, M=Rh, M'=Mo; 2b, M=Rh, M'=W; 3a, M=Ir, M'=Mo; 3b, M=Ir, M'=W). Similar reactions of the group 10 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [M(SH)2(dppe)] (M=Pd, Pt; dppe=Ph 2P(CH2) 2PPh2), [Pt(SH)2(dppp)] (dppp=Ph2P(CH2) 3PPh2), and [M(SH)2(dpmb)] (dpmb=o-C6H4(CH2PPh2)2) give the group 10-group 6 ELHB complexes [(dppe)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), [(dppp)Pt(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (6a, M'=Mo; 6b, M'=W), and [(dpmb)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), respectively. Cyclic voltammetric measurements reveal that these ELHB complexes undergo reversible one-electron oxidation at the group 6 metal center, which is consistent with isolation of the single-electron oxidation products [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*][PF6] (M=Rh, Ir; M'=Mo, W). Upon treatment of 2b and 3b with ROTf (R=Me, Et; OTf=OSO 2CF 3), the O atom of the terminal nitrosyl ligand is readily alkylated to form the alkoxyimido complexes such as [Cp*Rh(PMe3)(mu-S)2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. In contrast, methylation of the Rh-, Ir-, and Pt-Mo complexes 2a, 3a, and 6a results in S-methylation, giving the methanethiolato complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][BPh 4] (M=Rh, Ir) and [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][OTf], respectively. The Pt-W complex 6b undergoes either S- or O-methylation to form a mixture of [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)W(NO)Cp*][OTf] and [(dppp)Pt(mu-S) 2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. These observations indicate that O-alkylation and one-electron oxidation of the dinuclear nitrosyl complexes are facilitated by a common effect, i.e., donation of electrons from the group 9 or 10 metal center, where the group 9 metals behave as the more effective electron donor. 相似文献

The H+ concentration change was monitored near an electrode surface through an electrolysis using a slab optical waveguide technique. Indium tin oxide transparent electrode modified by porous insulating polymer to which methyl red was covalently immobilized was used as a guiding layer, and the absorbance change of the polymer film was monitored. The mechanisms by which solvents, antibodies, and albumins influence the rates of base-catalyzed reactions of benzisoxazoles have been explored theoretically. New experimental data on substituent effects and rates of reactions in several solvents, in an antibody, and in an albumin are reported. Quantum mechanical calculations were carried out for the reactions in water and acetonitrile, and docking of the transition state into a homology model of antibody 34E4 and an X-ray structure of human serum albumin was accomplished. 3,3-Dimethoxypropylsulfonyl (Dimps) chloride was prepared and used as a new versatile sulfonating agent for ammonia, primary and secondary amines to afford corresponding Dimps-amides in excellent yields. The resulting N-nonsubstituted and N-monosubstituted Dimps-amides, activated amines, were alkylated satisfactorily under new Mitsunobu conditions. The Dimps group was removed by treatment in aqueous solution under acidic followed by basic conditions. The purpose of this paper is to study the dynamic behavior of soft ground including a porous layer by considering the porosity change. In order to take the porosity change into account, the concept of the volume fraction, which has been proposed in continuum mechanics, is introduced. The constitutive equations presented by Bowen are applied to the analysis of the porous media. According to Bowen's theory, the porosity is considered as a variable called the volume fraction and has its own constitutive equation. The constitutive equation of the volume fraction has thermoelastic equation coefficients and is determined by the strains of the solid and the fluid. This means that the compressibilities of the solid and the fluid are considered. When the special condition is assumed, Bowen's theory can contain Biots's theory, which has been applied in earthquake engineering. The wave propagation in the ground including a porous layer, modeled by Bowen's theory, is studied and compared with that of Biot's theory. One-dimensional attenuation and surface amplitude are calculated. The effect of the volume fraction is discussed with respect to the compressibilities of the solid and the fluid. 相似文献

Information relating to the fracture toughness of geomaterials is critical to our understanding of tensile fracturing, and in particular in geological and rock engineering projects that are subjected to elevated moisture levels. In this study, we conducted a comprehensive set of fracture toughness tests on a suite of key rock types in air under different relative humidities and at constant temperature in order to investigate the influence of relative humidity on fracture toughness. Three sandstones and two igneous rocks were chosen for this purpose. We show that the value of fracture toughness decreases with increasing relative humidity. In addition, we find that the decrease in fracture toughness was more significant when the expansive clay such as smectite was included in rock. Since smectite is prone to expanding in the presence of water, the strength and thus crack growth resistance decrease when relative humidity is high. Therefore, we interpret the decreasing fracture toughness upon the degradation of expansive clays with increasing water content. It was also shown that the decrease of the fracture toughness with increasing humidity is less significant than the concomitant decrease in the measured value of the subcritical stress intensity factor. This was likely as a result of stress corrosion having little influence on the fracture toughness. We conclude that crack growth in rock is affected by humidity, and that clay content is an important contributing factor to changes in fracture toughness and subcritical stress intensity factor. 相似文献

The boundary conditions represented by polygons in moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method (Koshizuka and Oka, Nuclear Science and Engineering, 1996) have been widely used in the industry simulations since it can simply simulate complex geometry with high efficiency. However, the inaccurate particle number density near non-planar wall boundaries dramatically affects the accuracy of simulations. In this paper, we propose an initial boundary particle arrangement technique coupled with the wall weight function method (Zhang et al. Transaction of JSCES, 2015) to improve the particle number density near slopes and curved surfaces with boundary conditions represented by polygons in three dimensions. Two uniform grids are utilized in the proposed technique. The grid points in the first uniform grid are used to construct boundary particles, and the second uniform grid stores the same information as in the work by Zhang et al. The wall weight functions of the grid points in the second uniform grid are calculated by newly constructed boundary particles. The wall weight functions of the fluid particles are interpolated from the values stored on the grid points in the second uniform grid. Because boundary particles are located on the polygons, complex geometries can be accurately represented. The proposed method can dramatically improve the particle number density and maintain the high efficiency. The performance of the previously proposed wall weight function (Zhang et al.) with the boundary particle arrangement technique is verified in comparison with the wall weight function without boundary particle arrangement by investigating two example geometries. The simulations of a water tank with a wedge and a complex geometry show the general applicability of the boundary particle arrangement technique to complex geometries and demonstrate its improvement of the wall weight function near the slopes and curved surfaces. 相似文献

Two oxinylporphyrins, 5-(8-hydroxy-5-quinolinyl)-10,15,20-( p -tolyl)- porphyrin ( 1 ) and 5,15-bis(8-hydroxy-5-quinolinyl)-10,20-bis( n -heptyl)-porphyrin ( 2 ), were prepared and coordinated with Ga(III) to afford tris(oxinato) complex 3 and poly(oxinato) complex 4 , respectively. The structure of 3 was analyzed by variable temperature NMR study with referring to tris(8-hydroxy-5-quinolinyl)Ga(III) complex 5 to be in a meridional form. Oxinato ligands of 3 and 5 were exchanged with one another, with keeping the meridional structure. UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra of tris(oxinato)complex 3 and poly(oxinato)complex 4 were compared with each monomeric compound 1 and 2 . The absorption spectra showed only a slight broadening of the Soret band, suggesting trivial electronic and excitonic interactions. The fluorescence intensity was increased significantly compared with each monomeric compound 1 and 2 . Novel pentofuranose analogs of phospha sugar derivatives were synthesized starting from 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 1 ). First, the allylic oxidation of 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 1 ) with CrO 3 in Ac 2 O-AcOH or 3-hydroxy-1-phenyl-2-phospholene ( 2 ) with MnO 2 afforded 1-phenyl-4-oxo-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 3 ).
