A new route for the preparation of powdery metal, oxide and hydroxide materials is presented as a chimie douce alternative to the sol-gel method. It consists in the reduction or the hydrolysis of a metal salt dissolved and heated in a polyol medium. It appears through zinc and cobalt examples that the use of acetate precursors contrarily to chloride or sulfate ones leads to the precipitation of a solid (metal, oxide, hydroxide) whose nature depends on two main factors: the hydrolysis ratio, defined by the water to metal molar ratio, and the reaction temperature. As in the sol-gel method, acetate leads to the formation of intermediate alkoxyacetate complex. The absence of water favors metal formation while its presence favors oxide or hydroxyacetate formation. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of light conditions during 2 years of storage on the luminescence characteristics of contaminating minerals, isolated from irradiated onions of 2 different origins. The potential use of photostimulated luminescence (PSL) as a screening and thermoluminescence (TL) as a confirmatory identification method was investigated during post-irradiation periods. Nonirradiated onions had 1,612 photon counts (PCs), However, the irradiated onions had much higher PCs (45,672–469,696, positive). The PCs of the irradiated onions decreased with storage time. However, all the irradiated onions had PCs with positive values (>5,000) even after 2 years of storage except onions stored under natural light. The decline in PCs because of light conditions during storage was in the order of sunlight, artificial light, and a darkroom, respectively. Minerals extracted from the nonirradiated samples exhibited TL glow curves of low intensities with maximum peak after 300 °C. However, all irradiated samples had TL glow peaks in the temperature ranges of 185–225 °C. The TL intensity and TL ratio of the irradiated samples decreased during storage with a slight shift in the TL peak temperature towards higher temperatures. The TL characteristics were most promising for samples stored under natural light conditions, however all the irradiated onions could be identified even after 2 years of storage. 相似文献

One of the most attractive areas of research in drug delivery is the design of nanomedicines consisting of nanosystems that are able to deliver drugs to the right place, at appropriate time. Natural polysaccharides, due to their outstanding merits, have received more and more attention in the field of drug delivery systems. In particular, polysaccharides seem to be the most promising materials in the preparation of nanometric carriers. The main goal of the present study was to investigate the potential of a recent generation of hybrid polysaccharide nanocarriers, composed of chitosan (CS) and an anionic cyclodextrin, carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin (CM-β-CD), for the encapsulation of a model drug, sulindac. CS and CM-β-CD were processed to nanoparticles (NPs) via the ionotropic gelation technique. The stoichiometric ratio between these two polymers was found to influence particle size and zeta potential. Decreasing CS:CM-β-CD ratio led to an increase in particle size and decrease in zeta potential. DSC and FTIR analyses confirmed formation of NPs and encapsulation of sulindac inside them. Release profiles indicate a continuous release of the drug throughout 24?h. However, the rate of release was more rapid during the first hours; about 55–90% of the drug being released after 3?h. 相似文献

Abstract Trillium govanianum Wall. ex D. Don (Melanthiaceae alt. Trilliaceae), is native to the Himalayas. The present study, for the first time, was undertaken to explore the antimicrobial potential, to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of the methanol extract of the roots of Trillium govanianum and its solid phase extraction (SPE) fractions by using resazurin microtiter assay (REMA) against Gram positive and Gram negative bacterial registered strains and to carry out phytochemical analysis. The remarkable amount of gallic acid equivalent phenolic and quercetin equivalent flavonoid content was manifested by MeOH extract (20.27?±?3.03?mg GAE/g DW and 9.25?±?0.50?mg QE/g DW respectively). The GC/MS analysis revealed the presence saturated and unsaturated components. Considerable level of antibacterial potential against Gram-positive bacteria (MIC: 2.5-0.009?mg/mL) than against Gram-negative bacteria (MIC: 2.5-0.165?mg/mL) were observed. In an aim to prove the efficiency of polyphenols of Rosa canina fruits in promoting human health. A methanolic extract of R. canina fruits was prepared by successive maceration with solvents of increasing polarity. The polyphenol composition was analyzed by HPLC–DAD–ESI–MS. The biological activity of this extract on SH-SY5Y cells and HepG2 cells was then studied. The antioxidant activity was tested by various in vitro tests such as DPPH-radical-scavenging activity, FRAP assay, hydroxyl radical scavenging assay and total antioxidant capacity. The subacute toxicity of R. canina was tested on female rats by repeated intraperitoneal administration of various doses. The phenolic profiles showed 25 antioxidants distributed into three classes of phenolic compounds: glycosylated and agglomerated flavonoids/isoflavonoids, tannins and phenanthrenes. Qualitative phytochemical analyses showed that this extract lacks alkaloids. The methanolic extract of R. canina fruits has a total antioxidant capacity of 82.69 ± 1.18 μg EAA/mg of methanol extract and the IC50 of the methods used is in the following increasing order: FRAP assay (61.88 μg/ml), then hydroxyl radical scavenging assay (67.45 μg/ml) and then DPPH radical-scavenging activity (129.81 μg/ml). The extract of R. canina did not cause any phenotypic signs of toxicity or mortality during and after treatment. The LD50 was >5,000 mg/kg, hence, R. canina was considered nontoxic. An in vivo study proved the protective effect of R. canina against cardiac and hepato-renal toxicities. These results drew the importance of a healthy diet, where diets rich in R. canina fruits can be used as a rich natural source of antioxidants and anticarcinogenic phenolic compounds. 相似文献

First hierarchical titanium phosphate (TiPO) materials with multiple porosities of different lengths (meso-macroporous and meso-macro-macroporous) were synthesized by the self-formation process. The further tuning of the porous hierarchy by using the poly(ethylene oxide) surfactant technique was demonstrated. The macroporous structure (50-160 nm in size) of TiPO with mesoporous walls could be self-formed in the absence of any templatable agents, including surfactant molecules. On the basis of spontaneous structurization, the addition of a small quantity of nonionic poly(ethylene oxide) surfactant (e.g., 5%) led to an improvement in macroporosity in abundance and in regularity with a slight enlargement in macropore sizes to 80-250 nm. Interestingly, a secondary, larger macropore system with parallel channels 500-1000 nm in size was generated when the synthesis was performed with moderately increasing the content of surfactant (10%), giving rise to an unprecedented trimodal meso-macro-macroporous structure. A uniform three-dimensional co-continuous macroporous structure with accessible wormhole-like mesoporous walls was synthesized by using the higher content of surfactants. This is a direct demonstration of tailoring the porous hierarchy of different lengths integrated in one solid body by fine-tuning the self-formation process and the participation of surfactant. The synthesized hierarchical titanium phosphates possess interesting optical and acidic properties, which should be significant for large application potential from catalysis and separation to electrochromic devices, fuel cells, and bioactive materials. 相似文献

The synthesis of novel substituted 3-p-nitro-phenyliminocoumarins and corresponding N-ureaiminocoumarins is described. The condensation of these materials with oxalyl chloride leads to the corresponding N-parabanic iminocoumarins, which have not previously been described, in moderate or good yields and high selectivity. The structures were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, 1H and 13C NMR, and elemental analysis.
