The interfacial dilational viscoelastic properties of hydrophobically associating block copolymer composed of acrylamide (AM) and a low amount of 2-phenoxylethyl acrylate (POEA) (<1.0 mol%) at the octane-water interfaces were studied by means of the interfacial tension relaxation method. The dependencies of interfacial dilational elasticity and viscous component on the dilational frequency were investigated. The interaction of hydrophobically associating block copolymer [P(AM/POEA)] with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) has been explored. The results show that at lower frequency, the dilational elasticity for different concentration copolymer is close to zero; at higher frequency, the dilational elasticity shows no change with increased frequency; At moderate frequency (10(-3)-1 Hz), the dilational elasticity decreased with a decrease in the dilational frequency. The results show that the hydrophobic groups of [P(AM/POEA)] chains can be associated by inter- or intrachain liaisons in water solution. The dilational viscous component for P(AM/POEA) comes forth a different maximum value at different frequencies when the polymer concentration is different. It is generally believed that the dilational viscous component reflects the summation of the various microscopic relaxation processes at and near the interface and different relaxation processes have different characteristic frequencies. The spectrum of dilational viscous component may appear more than once maximum values at different frequencies. The influence of SDS on the limiting dilational elasticity and viscous component for polymer solution was elucidated. For 5000 ppm polymer solution, the limiting dilational elasticity decreased with an increase in SDS concentration. The dilational viscous component passed through a maximum value with a rise in the dilational frequency, which appeared at different frequency when SDS concentration is different; and the higher is the concentration, the lower is the dilational frequency. It can be explained that macromolecules may be substituted by SDS molecules in the interface and the interaction of molecules decrease, which makes the limiting dilational elasticity decrease. For 200 ppm polymer solution, the limiting dilational elasticity increased firstly and then decreased with SDS concentration increasing. This may be explained that the interfacial polymer concentration is so low that SDS molecules absorbed in the interface dominate dilational properties of the interfacial film even at very low SDS concentration. However, SDS molecules can gradually substitute the polymer molecules in the interface with a rise in SDS concentration, which results in the decrease in the limiting dilational elasticity. 相似文献

An efficient multiresidue method for analysis of fluoroquinolones in shrimp has been developed in which quantitation by fluorescence and confirmation by Multiple Stage Mass Spectrometry (MS) is achieved simultaneously. In this method, shrimp tissue is extracted with ammoniacal acetonitrile and the extract is defatted and then evaporated. After dissolution in basic phosphate buffer, fluoroquinolones in the extract are separated by liquid chromatography and quantitated, taking advantage of their intense fluorescence. Eluate from the fluorescence detector enters the MS, which allows for confirmation by monitoring ratios of 2 prominent product ions in the MS3 or MS2 spectrum. Using this method, 8 fluoroquinolones have been analyzed in shrimp samples fortified at 10, 25, 50, or 100 ppb levels. Recoveries for desethyleneciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, danofloxacin, enrofloxacin, orbifloxacin, sarafloxacin, and difloxacin ranged from 75 to 92%, with relative standard deviation values of <6%. The limits of quantitation ranged from 0.1 to 1 ng/g. Enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were also successfully determined in enrofloxacin-incurred shrimp using this method. 相似文献

Treatment of [CrCl3(THF)3] with slightly more than 1 equiv of Li3(N3N) [(N3N)(3-) = ((Me3SiNCH2CH2)3N)(3-)] affords the triamidoamine complex [Cr(N3N)] (1) in 75% yield. 1 is oxidized by PhICl2, CuCl2, or AgCl to give the chromium(IV) complex [Cr(N3N)Cl] (2) in moderate yields. Soap-free poly(styrene-ethyl acrylate-acrylic acid) latex particles with narrow size distribution and with surface carboxyl groups were synthesized by semicontinuous emulsion polymerization, and the particles with homogeneous multihollow structure were obtained after alkali posttreatment. Effects of treatment conditions and crosslinking agents on particle morphology were investigated. Results showed that the multihollow structure can be formed inside the uncrosslinked particles only when the treatment temperature exceeded 50 °C, the pH was higher than 10.0, the amount of 2-butanone was more than 3.0 ml and the treatment time was longer than 30 min. Furthermore, the volume expansion of the particles increased with the temperature increased to 90 °C, the pH to 12.5 or the amount of 2-butanone to 7.0 ml, and this value increased first and then decreased with the treatment time prolonged. Fine pores can be generated in the shell of particles crosslinked by 0.2 g of ethyl glycol dimethylacrylate (EGDMA), while no hollow structure formed inside particles when 0.4 g of EGDMA or 0.2 g of divinyl benzene was used. 相似文献

Poor solubility of single-walled and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (NTs) in water and organic solvents presents a considerable challenge for their purification and applications. Macromolecules can be convenient solubilizing agents for NTs and a structural element of composite materials for them. Several block copolymers with different chemical functionalities of the side groups were tested for the preparation of aqueous NT dispersions. Poly(N-cetyl-4-vinylpyridinium bromide-co-N-ethyl-4-vinylpyridinium bromide-co-4-vinylpyridine) was found to form exceptionally stable NT dispersions. It is suggested that the efficiency of macromolecular dispersion agents for NT solubilization correlates with the topological and electronic similarity of polymer-NT and NT-NT interactions in the nanotube bundles. Raman spectroscopy and atomic force and transmission electron microcopies data indicate that the polycations are wrapped around NTs forming a uniform coating 1.0-1.5 nm thick. The ability to wind around the NT originates in the hydrophobic attraction of the polymer backbone to the graphene surface and topological matching. Tetraalkylammonium functional groups in the side chains of the macromolecule create a cloud of positive charge around NTs, which makes them hydrophilic. The prepared dispersions could facilitate the processing of the nanotubes into composites with high nanotube loading for electronic materials and sensing. Positive charge on their surface is particularly important for biological and biomedical applications because it strengthens interactions with negatively charged cell membranes. A high degree of spontaneous bundle separation afforded by the polymer coating can also be beneficial for NT sorting. 相似文献

Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) plays an important role in cholesterol and triglyceride metabolism, being one of the major structural components of chylomicrons and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) remnants. ApoE functions as a ligand in the receptor-mediated uptake of these remnants from the blood by the liver. A variant form of ApoE, apolipoprotein E*3-Leiden, shows reduced affinity for the low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor, and results in the dominant expression of type III hyperlipoproteinemia. Two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) has been used to characterise protein expression in serum samples from control and transgenic mice expressing the human ApoE*3-Leiden mutation, fed a cholesterol-rich diet, and transgenic mice fed a normal diet. For the identification of proteins, single silver-stained spots were excised from the 2-DE gels and subjected to in-gel enzymatic digestion. Extracted peptides were analysed by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS). This proteomic approach has enabled the ApoE*3-Leiden variant to be positioned in a 2-DE separation of serum proteins, and has identified changes in the expression of haptoglobin, indicating that this protein may provide a marker for the potential onset of atherosclerosis. 相似文献

Various repertoires of membrane protein interactions determine cellular responses to diverse environments around cells dynamically in space and time. Current assays, however, have limitations in unraveling these interactions in the physiological states in a living cell due to the lack of capability to probe the transient nature of these interactions on the crowded membrane. Here, we present a simple and robust assay that enables the investigation of transient protein interactions in living cells by using the single-molecule diffusional mobility shift assay (smDIMSA). Utilizing smDIMSA, we uncovered the interaction profile of EGFR with various membrane proteins and demonstrated the promiscuity of these interactions depending on the cancer cell line. Thermal degradation of wood treated with guanidine compounds in air: Flammability study 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Wood has been treated with guanidine phosphate, guanidine nitrate, guanidine carbonate and guanidine chloride to impart flame retardancy. The samples were subjected to differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetry (TG) from ambient temperature to 800°C in air to study their thermal behaviors. From the resulting data, kinetic parameters for different stages of thermal degradation were obtained following the method of Broido. For the decomposition of wood and flame retardant wood, the activation energy was found to decrease from 116 to 54 kJ mol–1; the char yield was found to increase from 5.6 to 34.9%, LOI from 18 to 41.5, which indicated that the flame retardancy of treated wood was improved. Effects of the different compounds on the degradation and flammability of wood have also been proposed.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date. 相似文献
