A mesoporous TiO2?x material comprised of small, crystalline, vacancy‐rich anatase nanoparticles (NPs) shows unique optical, thermal, and electronic properties. It is synthesized using polymer‐derived mesoporous carbon (PDMC) as a template. The PDMC pores serve as physical barriers during the condensation and pyrolysis of a titania precursor, preventing the titania NPs from growing beyond 10 nm in size. Unlike most titania nanomaterials, during pyrolysis the NPs undergo no transition from the anatase to rutile phase and they become catalytically active reduced TiO2?x. When exposed to a slow electron beam, the NPs exhibit a charge/discharge behavior, lighting up and fading away for an average period of 15 s for an extended period of time. The NPs also show a 50 nm red‐shift in their UV/Vis absorption and long‐lived charge carriers (electrons and holes) at room temperature in the dark, even long after UV irradiation. The NPs as photocatalysts show a good activity for CO2 reduction.  相似文献

Lolitrems are tremorgenic indole diterpenes that exhibit a unique 5/6 bicyclic system of the indole moiety. Although genetic analysis has indicated that the prenyltransferase LtmE and the cytochrome P450 LtmJ are involved in the construction of this unique structure, the detailed mechanism remains to be elucidated. Herein, we report the reconstitution of the biosynthetic pathway for lolitrems employing a recently established genome‐editing technique for the expression host Aspergillus oryzae. Heterologous expression and bioconversion of the various intermediates revealed that LtmJ catalyzes multistep oxidation to furnish the lolitrem core. We also isolated the key reaction intermediate with an epoxyalcohol moiety. This observation allowed us to establish the mechanism of radical‐induced cyclization, which was firmly supported by density functional theory calculations and a model experiment with a synthetic analogue.  相似文献

We report a new mass spectrometric method for detecting electrogenerated intermediates. This approach is based on simultaneous activation of electrospray ionization and redox reaction on a wireless bipolar ultramicroelectrode, which is fabricated in the tip of a quartz nanopipette. The hollow structure of the ultramicroelectrode permits rapid transferring the transient species from electrode–electrolyte interfaces into the gas phase for mass spectrometric identification on the time scale of microseconds. The long‐sought fleeting intermediates including TPrA.+, whose lifetime in solution is only 200 μs, and catecholamine o‐semiquinone radicals, the second‐order rate constant of which is typically 109 m ?1 s?1, were successfully identified, helping clarify the previously hidden reaction pathways. Accordingly, our method may have wide applicability in exploring the dynamics of many electrochemical reactions, especially their ultrafast initial steps.  相似文献

Tritopic ion-pair receptors can bind bivalent salts in solution; yet, these salts have a tendency to form ion-pairs even in the absence of receptors. The extent to which such receptors can enhance ion pairing has however remained elusive. Here, we study ion pairing of M2+ (Ba2+, Sr2+) and X (I, ClO4) in acetonitrile with and without a dichlorooxacalix[2]arene[2]triazine-related receptor containing a pentaethylene-glycol moiety. We find marked ion association already in receptor-free solutions. When present, most of the MX+ ion-pairs are bound to the receptor and the overall degree of ion association is enhanced due to coordinative, hydrogen-bonding, and anion-π interactions. The receptor shows higher selectivity for iodides but also stabilizes perchlorates, despite the latter are often considered as weakly coordinating anions. Our results show that ion-pair binding is strongly correlated to ion pairing in these solutions, thereby highlighting the importance of taking ion association in organic solvents into account.  相似文献

Abstract

The stems of Dendrobium huoshanense have long been used to prevent various diseases, including inflammatory diseases. This study was aimed to explain the anti-inflammatory effect of D. huoshanense stems in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages and to discover potential anti-inflammatory compounds. Results exhibited that D. huoshanense stems ethanol extract could significantly inhibit LPS-induced production of NO, TNF-α and IL-1β. Based on bioassay guided strategy, four bibenzyls (14) were isolated from D. huoshanense stems for the first time. Anti-inflammatory assay showed 14 could remarkably inhibit the production of NO in LPS-induced macrophages. Moreover, quantitative RT-PCR analysis displayed that the mRNA levels of iNOs, TNF-α and IL-1β could also be significantly reduced by 14. These results suggested that D. huoshanense stems ethanol extract and bibenzyls 14 might be well developed as therapeutic agent to prevent inflammatory diseases.  相似文献

Abstract

Phytochemical studies on the leaves of Epimedium koreanum Nakai have resulted in the discovery of two new flavonol glycosides, koreanoside F (1) and koreanoside G (2), along with six known flavonoids. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of HRESIMS, UV, IR, 1?D NMR and 2?D NMR data. Absolute configurations of 1 and 2 was further determined by 13C-NMR spectra with gate decoupling (GD). All of the compounds were evaluated for cytotoxic activities by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazoliumbromide (MTT) assay. The results indicated that compounds 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 inhibited the proliferation of A549 and NCI-292 cells with IC50 values of 5.7–23.5?μM. Real-time monitoring in three kinds of lung cancer cells and a kind of human bronchial epithelial cells treated with compound 6 was also assessed.  相似文献

Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis (MS, UV, IR, and NMR) and Mosher’s method. Refractory or even toxic pollutants, which are from different industries such as printing and dyeing, pesticides, chemicals, petrochemicals, plastics and rubber, seriously threat the ecosystems and human health. Having the advantages of flexible composition, unique structure, high stability, memory effect, easy preparation and low cost, hydrotalcite compounds have a great potential in sewage degradation and environmental protection. This study focuses on the adsorption and catalytic properties (such as photocatalysis, electrocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis) of hydrotalcite‐derived materials for treating organic, inorganic and heavy metal ion sewage. We investigated crude Aster tataricus, vinegar‐processed Aster tataricus, honey‐processed Aster tataricus, and steamed Aster tataricus as a case study and developed a comprehensive strategy integrating quantitative analysis and chemical pattern recognition methods for the evaluation and differentiation of Aster tataricus from different regions, as well as related processed products. In the study, 15 batches of raw Aster tataricus collected from seven provinces were analyzed. A sensitive and rapid ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry method for simultaneous determination of 15 compounds was established to evaluate the quality of raw and processed Aster tataricus. Furthermore, multivariate statistical techniques were applied to compare the differences among Aster tataricus samples. As a result, the herbs collected from seven provinces were divided into two categories, and chlorogenic acid was the most important component distinguishing between the regions. Moreover, all of the raw and processed samples were classified by partial least squares discriminant analysis based on the 15 analyzed compounds. Results showed that raw Aster tataricus, vinegar‐processed Aster tataricus, honey‐processed Aster tataricus, and steamed Aster tataricus were clustered in four different areas. Shionone, chlorogenic acid and kaempferol were the significant constituents differentiating the raw and differently processed Aster tataricus samples.  相似文献

High‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detection has been extensively applied in many fields and the peaks among the analyzed samples can be shifted due to the variations of instrumental and experimental conditions. In multivariate analysis, retention time alignment is an important pretreatment step. Hence, the shifted peaks in high‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detection three‐dimensional spectra should be aligned for further analysis. Being motivated by this purpose, the interval correlated shifting method combined with the proposed data arrangement methods are recommended and employed on high‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detection data as a demonstration. We validate the alignment performance of the proposed method through comparison the consistency of the retention time before and after alignment. The obtained results demonstrated that the proposed method is capable of successful aligning the employed data. Additionally, the interval correlated shifting method combined with the data arrangement modes is implemented in an easy‐to‐use graphical user interface environment and so can be operated easily by users not familiar with programming languages.  相似文献
