We study the dissipative quantum phase transition(QPT)in a biased Tavis–Cummings model consisting of an ensemble of two-level systems(TLSs)interacting with a cavity mode,where the TLSs are pumped by a drive field.In our proposal,we use a dissipative TLS ensemble and an active cavity with effective gain.In the weak drive-field limit,the QPT can occur under the combined actions of the loss and gain of the system.Owing to the active cavity,the QPT behavior can be much differentiated even for a finite strength of the drive field on the TLS ensemble.Also,we propose to implement our scheme based on the dissipative nitrogen-vacancy(NV)centers coupled to an active optical cavity made from the gainmedium-doped silica.Furthermore,we show that the QPT can be measured by probing the transmission spectrum of the cavity embedding the ensemble of the NV centers. 相似文献

分析了基于锥面衍射的双光栅光谱合成系统的可行性,设计了激光入射角为Littrow角附近的双多层介质膜(MLD)光栅光谱合成系统,开展了两路合成实验。当入射极角等于自准直入射角,入射方位角为6°时,光栅衍射效率近似等于光束自准直入射时的衍射效率。基于锥面衍射原理,对中心波长为1050.24 nm和1064.33 nm的两束光纤激光子束进行合成,入射极角为43.99°,测得合成效率为92.9%,较基于非锥面衍射的双光栅光谱合成系统的合成效率提高了8.8%;测得合成光斑光束质量Mx2=1.204,My2=1.467,与基于非锥面衍射的双光栅光谱合成系统输出光斑光束质量基本一致。 相似文献

The spectral phase of the femtosecond laser field is an important parameter that affects the up-conversion(UC)luminescence efficiency of dopant lanthanide ions.In this work,we report an experi-mental study on controlling the UC lmiiinescence efficiency in Sm^3+:NaYF4 glass by 800-nm femtosec-ond laser pulse shaping using spectral phase modulation.The optimal phase control strategy efficiently enhances or suppresses the UC luminescence intensity.Based on the laser-power dependence of the UC luminescence intensity and its comparison with the luminescence spectrum under direct 266-nm fem-tosecond lciser irradiation,we propose herein an excitation model combining non-resonant two-photon absorption with resonance-media ted three-photon absorption to explain the experimental observations. 相似文献

The SiO2: Tb, Yb inverse opals with photonic band gap at 465 or 543 nm were prepared, and an effect of photonic band gap on upconversion spontaneous emission from Tb3+ was investigated. The results show that the photonic band gap has a significant influence on the upconversion emission of the SiO2: Tb, Yb inverse opals. The upconversion luminescence of the Tb3+ ions is suppressed in the inverse opal compared with the luminescence of that of the reference sample. 相似文献

A method of using an internally synthesized signal of preset frequencies as the reference signal for transformer noise control is proposed in this paper. The feasibility of applying the method in a specific transformer algorithm is investigated, where the effects of frequency mismatch and secondary path delay on the steady-state behavior of the transformer algorithm are analyzed and compared with the filtered-x least mean square algorithm. It is found that the noise reduction performance degrades with the increase of secondary path delay and frequency mismatch, but can be improved by using a larger convergence step size and a faster update rate. With parameter studies, the feasibility of applying the transformer algorithm with an internally synthesized reference signal to practical transformer noise control is verified by both numerical simulations and experiments. 相似文献

The azo benzothiazole polyurethane–urea (ABPUU) was synthesized from chromophore molecule 4-[(6-nitrobenzothiazole-2-yl)diazenyl]phenyl-1,3-diamine NBDPD, polyether polyol (NJ-210) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). The structure, thermal property, mechanical property and physical property were characterized and investigated. The refractive index (n) and thermo-optic coefficient (dn/dT) of ABPUU was determined at different temperature and wavelength (532 nm, 650 nm and 850 nm) using attenuated total reflection (ATR) technique. Using the CCD digital imaging devices, transmission loss of ABPUU was measured. A 1 × 2 Y-branched and 2 × 2 Mach–Zehnder interferometer (MZI) switch with two rib waveguides, dual driving electrodes and two critical 3-dB couplers polymeric thermo-optic switches based on thermo-optic effect of prepared ABPUU were designed and simulation. The power consumption of the Y-branched switch is less than 0.84 mW. The Y-branched and MZI switching rising and falling times obtained are 0.8 ms and 0.2 ms, respectively. 相似文献

Damage threshold of crystals SiO2 and YAG against 60-900 fs, 800 nm laser pulses are reported. The breakdown mechanisms were discussed based on the double-flux model and Keldysh theory. We found that impact ionization plays the important role in the femtosecond laser-induced damage in crystalline SiO2, while the roles of photoionization and impact ionization in YAG crystals depend on the laser pulse durations. 相似文献

Eight groups of chinchillas (N=74) were exposed to various equivalent energy [100 or 106 dB(A) sound pressure level (SPL)] noise exposure paradigms. Six groups received an interrupted, intermittent, time varying (IITV) Gaussian noise exposure that lasted 8 h/d, 5 d/week for 3 weeks. The exposures modeled an idealized workweek. At each level, three different temporal patterns of Gaussian IITV noise were used. The 100 dB(A) IITV exposure had a dB range of 90-108 dB SPL while the range of the 106 dB(A) IITV exposure was 80-115 dB SPL. Two reference groups were exposed to a uniform 100 or 106 dB(A) SPL noise, 24 h/d for 5 days. Each reference group and the three corresponding IITV groups comprised a set of equivalent energy exposures. Evoked potentials were used to estimate hearing thresholds and surface preparation histology quantified sensory cell populations. All six groups exposed to the IITV noise showed threshold toughening effects of up to 40 dB. All IITV exposures produced hearing and sensory cell loss that was similar to their respective equivalent energy reference group. These results indicate that for Gaussian noise the equal energy hypothesis for noise-induced hearing loss is an acceptable unifying principle. 相似文献
