The nonlinear development of oscillatory instability under the joint action of buoyant and thermocapillary effects in a multilayer system, is investigated. The nonlinear convective regimes are studied by the finite difference method. Two different types of boundary conditions – periodic boundary conditions and rigid heat-insulated lateral walls, are considered. It is found that in the case of periodic boundary conditions, the competition of both mechanisms of instability may lead to the development of specific types of flow: buoyant-thermocapillary traveling wave and pulsating traveling wave. In the case of rigid heat-insulated boundaries, various types of nonlinear flows – symmetric and asymmetric oscillations, have been found.  相似文献

Ionic liquids, ILs, based on fluorinated pyrrolidinium and piperidinium ammonium cations and imide anion were prepared and characterized. The physicochemical and electrochemical properties of these ILs including melting point, glass transition and degradation temperatures, viscosity, ionic conductivity, and electrochemical stability were determined and compared to alkyl pyrrolidinium and piperidinium ILs. The incorporation of a CF3 group instead of a CH3 induces an increase of the IL viscosity, thus a conductivity decrease. However, good ionic conductivity is obtained with fluorinated pyrrolidinium IL. Cyclic amine ILs with propyl alkyl chain or fluorinated ammonium exhibit very high electrochemical stability toward oxidation. The effect of the addition of LiTFSI on the IL properties was studied with the same methodology.  相似文献

In the search for green chemistry methods for the enantioselective reduction of ketoesters Saccharomyces cerevisiae- and ruthenium-catalyzed reactions in water have been investigated. The highest enantiomeric excesses for the reduction of α- and β-ketoesters have been obtained by S. cerevisiae. Chiral ruthenium catalysts are active for the reduction of all ketoesters with low to moderate enantioselectivities depending on the nature of the substrate and ligand. Interestingly, for several substrates both enantiomers of the hydroxyesters have been obtained according either to the catalytic method or to the structure of the ligand.  相似文献

The photophysical parameters for the sensitization of metal-centred luminescence are analyzed in two series of complexes with tridentate and hexadentate ligands having NxOy chelating units. In particular, the radiative lifetime τrad is experimentally estimated for 29 nine-coordinate EuIII complexes and 10 eight- and nine-coordinate YbIII complexes. The known dependence of τrad on refractive index is substantiated by comparing data for solid-state samples and solutions. Moreover, a clear dependence of τrad with the coordination environment is evidenced and in the case of EuIII, a comparison between τrad and the nephelauxetic effect generated by the ligands is attempted. Altogether, this extensive analysis points to the importance of having a handle on τrad when designing ligands for highly luminescent lanthanide-containing molecular edifices. This, in turn, should stimulate initiating theoretical considerations to unravel a reliable relationship between τrad and the electronic structure of the ligands.  相似文献

In this account, the recent advances on chiral stereochemically dynamic 2,2’-biphosphole ligands for applications in asymmetric catalysis are reported. In the first part, the synthesis of stereodynamic diphosphines and diphosphinites derived from 2,2’-biphosphole is presented. The second part describes the kinetic dynamic resolution to give diastereo- and enantiopure complexes. This paper provides extensive evidence from a simulation model supporting our claim that it is not appropriate to use the Euclidean metric in a competitive system where the Manhattan metric would provide a more accurate representation of distances. The Euclidean metric has the property of biasing firms' demands by a distortion of their sensitivity to competitive strategies and, therefore, generates an excessive level of competition.  相似文献

We present a new system of boundary integral equations for the free-edge plate. This system expresses an abstract symmetric variational problem posed on the boundary of the plate. In order to obtain this abstract problem, we must set the exterior boundary value problem corresponding to the free-edge plate in a framework of weighted Sobolev spaces. Finally, we take care of the hypersingular kernels appearing in our system of BIEs, by using an abstract technique of integration by parts.  相似文献

We have investigated the most efficient way of preparing biocompatible gold nanorods (GNR) used as tool for cancer imaging and therapy. The surface of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide-stabilized gold nanorods (GNR-CTAB) was functionalized with various thio-polyethylene glycols of the general formula HS-PEGmX (m=356-10,000; X=-OMe, -NH(2)). The influence of several parameters such as PEG chain length, reaction conditions and purification method on long-term stability, morphology and optical properties of the produced GNR-S-PEGmX was studied, demonstrating the existence of a threshold HS-PEGmX chain length (with molecular weight m≥2000) for efficient steric stabilization of GNR. Several purification techniques were compared: dialysis, centrifugation and a rarely used technique in this field, size exclusion chromatography. While a very weak efficiency of dialysis was evidenced, both centrifugation and size exclusion chromatography were found to provide pure GNRs, though the latter method yielded nanoparticles with a significantly higher stability. Finally, the long-term stability of the produced GNRs was investigated in various media: water, PBS buffer and serum.  相似文献
