The effects exhibited by adsorbed conducting polyaniline on the redox process on a molybdenum oxide surface were studied. Thermogravimetric results indicate a 4% polyaniline deposition. Cyclic voltammograms of the adsorbed polymer on MoO3 show that polyaniline exerts remarkable effects on the molybdenum blue oxidation-reduction process, with oxidation and reduction potentials of 0.33 and 0.18 V, respectively. This effect strongly enhances the electrode response, and can be used as an important tool in qualitative and/or quantitative determinations of molybdenum in solution as well as in any substrate. Background  

SCF ubiquitin ligases share the core subunits cullin 1, SKP1, and HRT1/RBX1/ROC1, which associate with different F-box proteins. F-box proteins bind substrates following their phosphorylation upon stimulation of various signaling pathways. Ubiquitin-mediated destruction of the fission yeast cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor Rum1p depends on two heterooligomerizing F-box proteins, Pop1p and Pop2p. Both proteins interact with the cullin Pcu1p when overexpressed, but it is unknown whether this reflects their co-assembly into bona fide SCF complexes.  相似文献

Novel rhenium(I) tricarbonyl complexes have been prepared by reactions of (Et4N)2[Re(CO)3Br3] with acetylpyridine benzoylhydrazone, Hapbhyd, di(2‐pyridyl)ketone benzoylhydrazone, Hpy2bhyd, bis(2‐pyridine)ketone, py2CO, and pyridinealdehyde terephtalaldehydebishydrazone, pytehyd. The ligands remain protonated when no supporting base is added and the following complexes have been isolated: [Re(CO)3Br(Hapbhyd)], [Re(CO)3Br(Hpy2bhyd‐py, hyd)], [Re(CO)3Br(Hpy2bhyd‐py1, py2)], [Re(CO)3Br(py2CO‐N, N)] and [Re(CO)3Br(pytehyd)]. Addition of triethyl amine results in deprotonation of Hapbhyd and the formation of [Re(CO)3(OH2)(apbhyd)], whereas Hpy2bhyd is hydrolysed and a rhenium complex with the monoanionic bis(2‐pyridyl)hydroxymethanolato ligand, {py2C(OH)O}, is formed. The same compound, [Re(CO)3{py2C(OH)O}], is obtained when triethyl amine and water are added to a mixture of (Et4N)2[Re(CO)3Br3] and py2CO. The air‐stable products have been studied by spectroscopic methods and X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

MNDO calculations on several substituted 1,2,4-oxadiazole compounds are discussed. Changes in geometry, atomic charge distribution, rotational barriers and molecular orbital energies are examined. A correlation exists between the thermal stability of the heterocycle and the excess electronic charge accumulated inside the ring as well as its distribution. For the case of phenylated derivatives, the nonplanar conformation is energetically more stable than the corresponding planar one, which might explain the relative decrease in thermal stability of phenylated derivatives. It is observed that as the planar conformation starts being populated, a greater amount of electrons are donated to the 1,2, 4-oxadiazole ring.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of the UV absorption spectra of indole and N-methylindole in propyl ether and in 3-methylpentane was investigated. The effects of the composition of a fat globule surface in reconstituted milks on the properties of rennet-induced coagulums were studied by rheological measurements and by front-face fluorescence spectroscopy in combination with a multivariate statistical method to investigate, at a molecular level, the evolution of the structure during the milk coagulation process. Reconstituted milks used in this study were prepared from different fat-in-water emulsions stabilized by whole skim-milk proteins, beta-casein, or beta-lactoglobulin. Coagulation of milk reconstituted with natural fat globules was also investigated. The study showed that the fat droplet/water interface influences the rheological properties (G' modulus) of the reconstituted milks during the coagulation process. The tryptophan fluorescence emission spectra of proteins were recorded during the kinetics of coagulation. The results of the principal component analysis performed on the spectral data showed a discrimination in the different systems investigated. It was shown that the fluorescence properties of protein tryptophans and, consequently, the structures of the protein networks were different for the investigated systems. The development of fluorescence transfer between protein tryptophans and fat-globule vitamin A during the coagulation kinetics agreed with the interactions between the protein network and fat globules. The influence of the surfactants sodium dodecyl sulphate, cetyltrimethyl-ammonium bromide and triton X-100 on the photochemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization (CIDNP) of N-acetyl tyrosine has been investigated. Three photosensitizers were used to generate polarization: thionin, eosin Y and flavin mononucleotide. 600 MHz 1H photo-CIDNP experiments, supported by laser flash photolysis transient absorption measurements, indicate that the neutral triton surfactant has no influence on the nuclear polarization, but that the other two, charged, amphiphiles affect the photochemistry in a variety of ways, depending on the surfactant concentration and the identity of the sensitizer.  相似文献
