M/M/1 queue with <Emphasis Type="Italic">m</Emphasis> kinds of differentiated working vacations

In this paper, we consider an M/M/1 vacation queueing system in which m different kinds of working vacations may be taken as soon as the system is empty. When parameters take proper different values, our model reduces to several classical models already studied in references. By quasi birth and death process and generalized eigenvalues method, we give the distributions for the number of customers and sojourn time in the system. Furthermore, we also give the stochastic decomposition results of such stationary indices.

Biomimetic antireflective hierarchical arrays

We report a simple method for the fabrication of biomimetic antireflective hierarchical arrays based on the combination of self-assembled polymer spheres and nanoimprint lithography (NIL). The hierarchical structures are fabricated by creating nanopillars on the microscale round protrusion arrays, which are similar to natural mosquito eyes consisting of combined micro- and nanostructures. The hierarchical arrays dramatically suppress the surface reflection from visible to near-infrared regions with an angle of incidence of up to 70°.     

Synthesis,Characterization and Photochromic Properties of Novel Naphthopyrans with Hydrazone Unit Residue

A series of naphthopyrans with hydrazone unit ( 8a – 8m ), were synthesized and characterized by ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, IR and HRMS. The photochromic properties were investigated under continuous irradiation, in particular regard to the fatigue resistance and the lifetime of the colored open form in solution and polymers. The results showed that these compounds had both good photochromic properties and high fatigue resistance. Detailed studies showed that representative compound 8d (3,3‐di‐4‐methoxybenzoic acid methylenehydrazino‐[3H]‐naphtho [2,1‐b]pyran) had good photochromic properties in THF solution, in solid state, and in polymers, and exhibited a significant bathochromic shift in the spectra of the open forms compared to known naphthopyrans 9 (3,3‐diphenyl‐[3H]‐naphtho[2,1‐b]pyran). On the other hand, the higher melting points of target compounds are promising for the polymer film preparation through hot‐melt method.     

Graphs with given number of cut vertices and extremal Merrifield-Simmons index

The Merrifield-Simmons index of a graph is defined as the total number of its independent sets, including the empty set. Denote by G(n,k) the set of connected graphs with n vertices and k cut vertices. In this paper, we characterize the graphs with the maximum and minimum Merrifield-Simmons index, respectively, among all graphs in G(n,k) for all possible k values.     

High proton conduction in a chiral ferromagnetic metal-organic quartz-like framework

A complex-as-ligand strategy to get a multifunctional molecular material led to a metal-organic framework with the formula (NH(4))(4)[MnCr(2)(ox)(6)]·4H(2)O. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that the anionic bimetallic coordination network adopts a chiral three-dimensional quartz-like architecture. It hosts ammonium cations and water molecules in functionalized channels. In addition to ferromagnetic ordering below T(C) = 3.0 K related to the host network, the material exhibits a very high proton conductivity of 1.1 × 10(-3) S cm(-1) at room temperature due to the guest molecules.     

New Cytochalasins from the Marine‐Derived Fungus Xylaria sp. SCSIO 156

Two new cytochalasins, 18‐deoxycytochalasin Q ( 1 ) and 21‐O‐deacetylcytochalasin Q ( 2 ), together with four known analogues, cytochalasin Q ( 3 ), 19,20‐epoxycytochalasin Q ( 4 ), 21‐O‐deacetyl‐19,20‐epoxycytochalasin Q ( 5 ), and cytochalasin D ( 6 ), were isolated from the fungus Xylaria sp. SCSIO156 originated from the South China Sea marine sediment. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated by MS and 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR data analyses, and comparison with known compounds. The known compounds 3 – 6 were identified by comparison of their MS and NMR data with those reported in the literature. In the in vitro antitumor assay, compounds 2 – 6 showed mild cytotoxicity against three tumor cell lines (MCF‐7, SF‐268, and NCI‐H460).     

Magnesium(II) complexes of 2,4-N,N'-disubstituted 1,3,5-triazapentadienyl ligands: synthesis and characterization of [N(Dipp)C(NMe2)NC(NMe(2))N(SiMe3)MgBr]2 and [N(R)C(R')NC(R')N(SiMe3)]2Mg (Dipp = 2,6-iPr2-C6H3, R = Ph, SiMe(3); R' = NMe2, 1-piperidino)

Treatment of the appropriate lithium or sodium 2,4-N,N'-disubstituted 1,3,5-triazapentadienate [RNC(R')NC(R')N(SiMe(3))M](2) (R = Ph, 2,6-(i)Pr(2)-C(6)H(3)(Dipp) or SiMe(3); R' = NMe(2) or 1-piperidino; M = Li or Na) with one or half equivalent portion of MgBr(2)(THF)(2) in Et(2)O under mild conditions furnishes in good yield the first structurally characterized molecular magnesium 2,4-N,N'-disubstituted 1,3,5-triazapentadienates [DippNC(NMe(2))NC(NMe(2))N(SiMe(3))MgBr](2) (1), [{RNC(R')NC(R')N(SiMe(3))}(2)Mg] (R = Ph, R' = NMe(2) 2; R = Ph, R' = 1-piperidino 3; R = SiMe(3), R' = 1-piperidino 4). The solid-state structure of 1 is dimeric and those of 2, 3, and 4 are monomeric. The ligand backbone NCNCN in 1 adopts a W-shaped configuration, while in 2, 3 and 4 adopts a U-shaped configuration.     

用相对论VUU研究平均场和核—核子截面对高能和中能集体流的影响

用基于Ｗａｌｅｃｋａ的ＱＨＤ－Ｉ模型的相对论Ｖｌａｓｏｖ－Ｕｅｈｌｉｎｇ－Ｕｈｌｅｎｂｅｃｋ（ＲＶＵＵ）方程，分析了高能和中能重离子碰撞中的集体流，研究了用集体流探测核物质状态方程和核内核子－核子截面的可行性．     

催化裂解CH4制备碳纳米管的影响因素

以柠檬酸法制备的Fe MgO、Co MgO和Ni MgO为催化剂 ,CH4 为碳源气 ,H2 为还原气 ,在 873、973和 10 73K制备出碳纳米管 ,通过TEM和拉曼光谱表征 ,讨论了催化剂、制备温度、反应时间等因素对碳纳米管形貌、产率和内部结构的影响 .结果表明 :不同的催化剂在相同的温度下制备的碳纳米管的形态和内部结构有很大的差异 .其中Fe MgO催化剂制备的碳纳米管管径粗 ,且大小不均匀 ,而Ni MgO催化剂制备的碳纳米管管径较细、较均匀 .碳纳米管的产率随着裂解温度的变化而改变 .Fe MgO催化剂制备碳纳米管的产率随制备温度的升高而提高 ,而Ni MgO催化剂制备碳纳米管的产率随制备温度的升高而降低 .Fe MgO催化剂制备碳纳米管 ,在10 73K甚至更高的制备温度才能达到其最高产率 .Co MgO催化剂制备碳纳米管的产率在 973K左右产率较高 ,而用Ni MgO催化剂制备碳纳米管 ,则在 873K甚至更低的制备温度就能达到最高产率 .反应时间与碳纳米管的产率不成正比 ,有一最佳反应时间 ,如Ni MgO催化剂的最佳反应时间为 2h .
