A new class of cyclic telluronium salts has been prepared. All the salts are stable in solution in CHCl3 or dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO). Conductivity measurements in DMSO and dimethylformamide (DMF) have shown that considerable ion pairing occurs in solution. Zinc hydroxyfluoride (ZnOHF), obtained by coprecipitation of a zinc salt in aqueous HF, exhibits a variable stoichiometry Zn(OH)2−xFx, where x is tuneable from 0.63 to 0.87 by controlling the pH of the solution. The structure was determined from Rietveld refinements using X-ray powder diffraction data. Crystallizing with the orthorhombic symmetry (SG : Pna21), the ZnOHF-type structure exhibits two different anionic sites. A bond valence analysis shows that fluorine exclusively occupies the anionic site that has shorter contacts to zinc. This site is split into two partially occupied sites, one corresponding to the position of a fluoride ion and the other to the position of a hydroxide ion. Bond valence calculations show that the split site model gives a more accurate picture of the local coordination of the anions on this site. 相似文献

A method for the selective detection and determination of hydrogen sulfide in the atmosphere is presented. This method utilizes the reversible adsorption of H2S on a piezoelectric quartz crystal coated with an acetone extract of soots resulting from the burning of organochlorine compounds. The extract of a soot prepared from chlorobenzoic acid provided the best substrate. The method is useful in the concentration range 1–60 ppm. 相似文献

The freezing temperatures and densities (at 31°C) of solutions of octane, nonane, decane, 3,3-diethylpentane, and sodium oleate inN-methylacetamide (NMA) have been measured. The molality of the freezing solution was calculated from the density. The solubilities of octane, nonane, and decane inN-methylacetamide are also reported. Apparent molal volumes calculated from the densities are close to the values in the pure hydrocarbons and are not strong functions of the concentration. This indicates the absence of any unusual packing effect. The calculated free energies of transfer of the hydrocarbons from pure hydrocarbon to NMA solution are much less negative than the corresponding values for water, showing that the bulk solvophobic interaction inN-methylacetamide is smaller than in water. This is consistent with the freezing temperatures of sodium oleate which show that micelles do not form below 0.1 mole-kg–1. The osmotic coefficients of the hydrocarbons calculated from the freezing temperatures showed negative deviations from ideality that were larger for the hydrocarbons with the higher molecular weights. Two estimates of the pairwise solvophobic interaction inN-methylacetamide indicate that it is also smaller than in water. The solvophobic effect in this solvent does not include the large entropy and enthalpy effects found in aqueous solutions. 相似文献

On P? P Containing Cyclic Compounds. II. Reaction of N,N'-dimethylthiourea with phenyl dichlorophosphane yields 1.4-dimethyl-2. 3-diphenyl-1.4.2.3-diazadiphospholidine-5-thione-2-sulfide ( II ). The compound is characterized by its nmr, vibration and mass spectra as well as the results of an X-ray structural analysis. Byproduct of the reaction is N-(N,N'-dimethylcarbamimidoyl)-N,N'-dimethyl thiourea hydrochloride ( III ), which crystallizes with pyridinium chloride. Molecular and crystal structure are reported. Chromatographic characteristics of urinary metabolites of theophylline were studied by two-dimensional thin-layer chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography--mass spectrometry. Quantitative date for the urinary metabolites of theophylline in asthmatic children are given. It was shown that 1,3-dimethyluric acid is the predominant excretory product. In addition, smaller amounts of 1-methyluric acid, 3-methylxanthine and unchanged theophylline were found. Excretory patterns after theophylline ingestion before and during the administration of allopurinol in asthma patients and in rats suggest the existence of three metabolic pathways of theophylline. The administration of this drug to a patient with xanthine oxidase of theophylline. The administration of this drug to a patient with xanthine oxidase deficiency resulted in the excretion of 1-methyluric acid in addition to 1,3-dimethyluric acid, 3-methylxanthine, 1-methylxanthine and unchanged theophylline. It was concluded that in man the oxidation of theophylline is not catalysed by xanthine oxidase. 相似文献
