Series solution to the laser-ion interaction in a Raman-type configuration

The Raman interaction of a ultracold ion trapped with two travelling wave lasers is studied analytically with series solutions, in the absence of the rotating wave approximation (RWA) and without restrictions of both the Lamb-Dicke limit and the weak excitation regime. The comparison is made between our solutions and those obtained under the RWA in order to demonstrate the validity region of the RWA. As a practical example, the preparation of Schr?dinger-cat states is proposed beyond the weak excitation regime, using our calculations. A simple model for high fluence ultra-short pulsed laser metal ablation

The ultra-short laser metal ablation is a very complex process, the complete simulation of which requires applications of complicated hydrodynamics or molecular dynamics models, which, however, are often time-consuming and difficult to apply. For many practical applications, where the laser ablation depth is the main concern, a simplified model that is easy to apply but at the same time can also provide reasonably accurate predictions of ablation depth is very desirable. Such a model has been developed and presented in this paper, which has been found to be applicable for laser pulse duration up to 10 ps based on comparisons of model predictions with experimental measurements.

Photoacoustic spectroscopy for fast and sensitive ammonia detection

A photoacoustic (PA) spectrometer with H-type first longitudinal resonant cells for ammonia detection is developed. A new PA cell structure is designed to accelerate the drift velocity of the sample gas near the cell surface, so that the short response time at the flow rate of 100 sccm (standard cubic centimeter per minute) is achieved. The response time of 5 min and detection limit of 0.86 ppbv is reached for ammonia concentration measurement with a Teflon polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) cell. Further improvement could be expected when using a brass cell with a high quality Teflon fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) coating.

本文用多因子方差分析模型和多重比较分析了服装穿着时的主观热感觉与服装品种、环境条件、穿着者的活动状态与籍贯之间的关系。通过主成分回归建立了用生理指标预测主观热感觉的模型，从而得出一种定量地评价服装属性的方法。

本文根据文[1]获得的多夹层扁壳非线性基本方程，求解了各种载荷及边界条件下矩形底面多夹层扁壳的非线性弯曲问题，多夹层板、扁柱亮在轴向压力作用下的稳定问题，以及一般形状的扁壳在边界作用力下的变形．
