A series of indazoles substituted at the N-1 and N-2 positions with ester-containing side chains -(CH2)(n)CO2R of different lengths (n = 0-6, 9, 10) are described.Nucleophilic substitution reactions on halo esters (X(CH2)(n)CO2R) by 1H-indazole inalkaline solution lead to mixtures of N-1 and N-2 isomers, in which the N-1 isomer predominates. Basic hydrolysis of the ester derivatives allowed the synthesis of the corresponding indazole carboxylic acids. All compounds were fully characterised by multinuclear NMR and IR spectroscopies, MS spectrometry and elemental analysis; the NMR spectroscopic data were used for structural assignment of the N-1 and N-2 isomers.The molecular structure of indazol-2-yl-acetic acid (5b) was determined by X-ray diffraction, which shows a supramolecular architecture involving O2-H...N1 intermolecular hydrogen bonds. 相似文献

Desert beetle Microdera punctipennis (Coleoptera: Tenebriondae) is a special species in Gurbantonggut Desert in Central Asia. To investigate the possible strategy it employs for cold survival, seasonal changes in supercooling point (SCP), body water content, haemolymph osmolality and antifreeze protein gene (Mpafp) expression were measured over 13 months. Our results show SCPs in M. punctipennis adults changed from -8.0°C in summer to -18.7°C in winter. During winter, adults endured modest water loss; total water decreased from 65.4 percent in summer to 55.9% in winter. Mpafp mRNAs level increased by 13.1 fold from summer to early winter, and haemolymph osmolality increased accordingly from 550 mOsm to 1486 mOsm. Correlation coefficient of Mpafp mRNAs level and SCP indicates that Mpafp mRNA explained 65.3 percent of the variation in SCPs. The correlation between Mpafp mRNA level and total water reflected an indirect influence of antifreeze protein on water content via reducing SCP. 相似文献

We have studied the motion of charge carriers along isolated phenylene-vinylene (PV) chains using a combination of experimental and theoretical methods. The conductive properties of positive charges along PV chains in dilute solution were studied by using the pulse-radiolysis time-resolved microwave conductivity (TRMC) technique. This technique enables the measurement of high-frequency (tens of GHz) charge carrier mobilities along isolated PV chains without the use of electrodes. The charge carrier mobility along PV chains with finite and infinite length was studied theoretically by charge transport simulations with parameters from density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The high-frequency charge carrier mobility is found to depend strongly on the conjugation length of the PV chains and is found to increase both with increasing length of the PV chain and with increasing conjugation fraction. The experimental results are in good agreement with the calculated results. On the basis of this combined experimental and theoretical study an intrachain charge carrier mobility of a few tens of cm2/Vs is expected for an infinitely long PV chain without conjugation breaks. 相似文献

We have studied the high-frequency (34 GHz) mobility of positive charge carriers on isolated ladder-type polymer chains in dilute solution. We find that the high-frequency mobility is limited by the chain ends on chains as long as 35 monomers. The intrachain motion of charge carriers can be described by one-dimensional diffusion between infinitely high reflecting barriers, representing the chain ends. Our data indicate that the intrachain mobility for ladder-type polymer chains is close to 600 cm(2)/V s. With this high mobility the ladder-type polymer is a promising candidate for future use as an interconnecting wire in molecular electronics. 相似文献

Motivated by recent experiments showing nonlinear elasticity of in vitro networks of the biopolymer actin cross-linked with filamin, we present an effective medium theory of flexibly cross-linked stiff polymer networks. We model such networks by randomly oriented elastic rods connected by flexible connectors to a surrounding elastic continuum, which self-consistently represents the behavior of the rest of the network. This model yields a crossover from a linear elastic regime to a highly nonlinear elastic regime that stiffens in a way quantitatively consistent with experiment. 相似文献

Sodium ion ordering on an in situ cleaved NaxCoO2 (x=0.84) surface has been studied by ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy at room temperature. Three main phases, with p(3 x 3), ( radical7 x radical7), and (2 radical3 x 2 radical3) hexagonal unit cells and a surface Na concentration of 1/3, 3/7, 1/2, respectively, were identified. One surprising finding is that Na trimers act as the basic building blocks that order in long range. The stability of Na trimers is attributed to the increased Na coordination with oxygen as indicated by ab initio calculations, and possibly at finite temperature by configuration entropy. 相似文献

This paper describes a new design for a valve switching modulation system developed for comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC x GC). This system is based on the differential flow and is different from the earlier reported in the literature. It has several advantages and constructed of inexpensive, commercially available parts that are easily installed on most gas chromatographs. Operation is easy and robust and requires no external coolants. This new design allows GC x GC analysis to be conducted in any laboratory environment capable of supporting conventional GC and imposes no additional consumable costs. The system is flexible and permits the use of a wide range of stationary phase combinations. The system has been successfully tested for complete material transfer and is suitable for quantitative analysis. The flexibility of this system is demonstrated using several test mixtures that show its extended application in petroleum, biochemistry, and environmental studies. 相似文献
