A new method for calculating the matrix elements of the collision integral in the Boltzmann equation is used for studying the behavior of an ion impurity upon an abrupt application of an electric field. For five models of interaction, the behavior of mobility is analyzed and the evolution of the distribution function for various values of the electric field is illustrated. The initial stage of runaway of ions is studied in the case of the Coulomb interaction. Two methods for improving the convergence of the polynomial expansions of the distribution function are considered.  相似文献

Three mini-orange conversion–electron spectrometers and four Euroball Ge Cluster detectors have been used for γ–e- coincidence spectroscopy of superdeformed 135Nd. Transitions within the superdeformed band are shown to have the expected E2 multipolarity. The 766.5–keV transition which links the band to a positive-parity state has a conversion coefficient consistent with M1 multipolarity. Consequently, positive parity is deduced for the superdeformed band. No evidence for E0 transitions was found. Received: 22 December 1997 / Revised version: 19 January 1998  相似文献

With the knowng-factor of the Coulomb excited first 2+-state in32S the transient magnetic field was determined for sulphur ions traversing Gd at a mean velocity of 16 0 ( 0=c/137). The degree of polarization deduced for the dominating H-like ions, ¯p1s =0.10(3), agrees very well with that obtained at lower velocities. In addition, an upper limit of a transient electric field gradient was deduced from the particle--angular correlation which is expected on theoretical grounds.The authors thank the operating staff and in particular Dr. R. This study intended to determine the plant species on a skid road subjected to soil compaction due to timber skidding in a pure sessile oak (Quercus petrea L.) forest. Our previous studies show that ground based skidding destroyed the soil and ecosystem. The timber skidding limits recovery and growth of plant cover on skid roads. However, some herbaceous plant species show healthy habitat, and they can revegetate and survive after the extreme degradation in study area.The composition and cover-abundance scales of these plant species investigated in a 100 m × 3 m transect. Twelve plant species belongs to 10 plant family were determined. Compositae and Liliaceae were the most abundant families. Daphne pontica L., Smilax aspera L., Trachystemon orientalis (L.) G. Don, Carex distachya Desf. var. distachya Desf. have the highest cover-abundance scale among all of determined species on compacted skid road.  相似文献

We have investigated the structure of the superdeformed band in 135Nd using conversion-electron spectroscopy. The transitions within the superdeformed band show conversion coefficients which are consistent with an E2 multipolarity. From the conversion coefficients of transitions linking this band with known low-lying states its positive parity was established. Hence, a direct determination of the parity of a high-spin superdeformed band could be performed for the first time.  相似文献

Previously, to solve the Boltzmann equation by the moments method with expansion of the distribution function by spherical Hermit polynomials, a new computational method was suggested which allowed to construct nonlinear matrix elements of the collision integral with very large indices. This made it possible to substantially advance in construction of the distribution function. Limitations to convergence of the distribution function that appear in moment method are eliminated if we come to expansion by spherical harmonics from expansion by spherical Hermit polynomials. In this case, a complex five-fold collision integral is replaced by a set of comparatively simple integral operators, and kernels G l1,l2 l (c, c 1, c 2) of these operators become the analog of matrix elements. We found the relations between expansions of the distribution function in the reference frames with various velocities of motion along marked axis. Starting from the invariance condition of the collision integral with respect to selection of such reference frames, we derived recurrent relations between the kernels with various indices. These relations allow us to construct any nonlinear kernel G l1, l2 l (c, c 1, c 2), if the kernel G 0,00(c, c 1, c 2) is known.  相似文献

A new method for calculating matrix elements of the collision integral is used for solving problems of the mobility of ions against the background of atoms and for constructing the distribution functions for ions upon an abrupt application of an electric field. It is shown how the stationary distribution function can be constructed using the nonstationary moments method in the case when the stationary moments method is completely inapplicable. The solution to the nonstationary problem for the CEM model corresponding to resonant charge exchange with a constant collision frequency, which is constructed analytically, is used for analyzing the limits of applicability of the nonstationary moments method.  相似文献
