An investigation of the Al2O3-CdSe interface in accumulation

The Al₂O₃−CdSe interface of a thin-film transistor is investigated in the frequency range 30 Hz-30 kHz under weak depletion and accumulation. The surface states are, most likely, located in the insulator Al₂O₃ with a concentration varying from 4·10¹⁸ to 10¹⁹ cm⁻³ eV⁻¹. The surface states have a negligible influence on the thin-film transistor operation.     

Some remarks on metaplectic cusp forms and the correspondences of Shimura and Waldspurger

The simple relation between representations of the covering groups of SL₂ and GL₂ makes it possible to fuse and extend the recent metaplectic results of Shimura, Waldspurger, Flicker, and ourselves. By giving a new (purely local andL-function theoretic) treatment of the Waldspurger-Shintani correspondence, we also simplify some of Waldspurger’s original results.

Boundary-value problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation

A mixed boundary-value problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and its generalization is studied by the method used for the inverse scattering problem. A connection is established between conservation laws and boundary conditions in integrable boundary-value problems for higher nonlinear Schrödinger equations. Numerical algorithm for the Mayer problem for nonlinear dynamic systems

An algorithm is proposed for numerical construction of optimal programmed controls in the Mayer problem for a nonlinear dynamic system. In each step of the optimization process, the algorithm uses the method of successive linearization with subsequent projection of the objective functional gradient on the constraints and recovery of violated boundary conditions and constraints.
