Air oxidation of N-cyclopropylanilines was shown to occur under either ambient conditions or accelerated conditions (warming or shining light) in an open container. A subsequent fragmentation resulted in formation of the corresponding acetamide. While potential mechanisms have been previously proposed, simple aerobic oxidation to β-hydroxy-propionamides in the absence of a radical promoter has not been previously reported. 相似文献

A series of 2,2′-(dihydropyrimidine-1,3(2H,4H)-diyldimethanediyl)bis(substituted-phenols) was synthesized using a Mannich-type reaction between the macrocyclic aminal 1,3,7,9,13,15,19,21-octaazapentacyclo[19.3.1.13,7.19,13.115,19]octacosane (OAPO) (1) and substituted phenols in basic media. These previously unreported compounds were separated from the reaction mixture by column chromatography in highly pure form with 25–75% yields. A new approach to obtain green‐emitting iridium(III) complexes is described. The synthetic approach consists of introducing a methylsulfone electron‐withdrawing substituent into a 4‐phenylpyrazole cyclometalating ligand in order to stabilize the highest‐occupied molecular orbital (HOMO). Six new complexes have been synthesized incorporating the conjugate base of 1‐(4‐(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)‐1 H‐pyrazole as the cyclometalating ligand. The complexes show green emission and very high photoluminescence quantum yields in both diluted and concentrated films. When used as the main active component in light‐emitting electrochemical cells (LECs), green electroluminance is observed. High efficiencies and luminances are obtained at low driving voltages. This approach for green emitters is an alternative to the widely used fluorine‐based substituents in the cyclometalating ligands and opens new design possibilities for the synthesis of green emitters for LECs. 相似文献

Herein, we describe the structural investigation of one possible uranyl binding site inside a nonstructured protein. This approach couples spectroscopy, thermodynamics, and theoretical calculations (DFT) and studies the interaction of uranyl ions with a phosphopeptide, thus mimicking a possible osteopontin (OPN) hydroxyapatite growth‐inhibition site. Although thermodynamical aspects were investigated by using time‐resolved laser fluorescence spectroscopy (TRLFS) and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), structural characterization was performed by extended X‐ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) at the U LIII‐edge combined with attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR‐FTIR) spectroscopy. From the vibrational and fluorescence spectra, several structural models of a UO22+/peptide complex were developed and subsequently refined by using theoretical calculations to fit the experimental EXAFS obtained. The structural effect of the pH value was also considered under acidic to moderately acidic conditions (pH 1.5–5.5). Two new prodrugs, bearing two and three 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU) units, respectively, have been synthesized and were shown to efficiently treat human breast cancer cells. In addition to 5‐FU, they were intended to form complexes through H‐bonds to an organo‐bridged silane prior to hydrolysis‐condensation through sol–gel processes to construct acid‐responsive bridged silsesquioxanes (BS). Whereas 5‐FU itself and the prodrug bearing two 5‐FU units completely leached out from the corresponding materials, the prodrug bearing three 5‐FU units was successfully maintained in the resulting BS. Solid‐state NMR (29Si and 13C) spectroscopy show that the organic fragments of the organo‐bridged silane are retained in the hybrid through covalent bonding and the 1H NMR spectroscopic analysis provides evidence for the hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the prodrug bearing three 5‐FU units and the triazine‐based hybrid matrix. The complex in the BS is not affected under neutral medium and operates under acidic conditions even under pH as high as 5 to deliver the drug as demonstrated by HPLC analysis and confirmed by FTIR and 13C NMR spectroscopic studies. Such functional BS are promising materials as carriers to avoid the side effects of the anticancer drug 5‐FU thanks to a controlled and targeted drug delivery. 相似文献

High yielding syntheses of 1‐(ferrocenylmethyl)‐3‐mesitylimidazolium iodide ( 1 ) and 1‐(ferrocenylmethyl)‐3‐mesitylimidazol‐2‐ylidene ( 2 ) were developed. Complexation of 2 to [{Ir(cod)Cl}2] (cod=cis,cis‐1,5‐cyclooctadiene) or [Ru(PCy3)Cl2(?CH‐o‐O‐iPrC6H4)] (Cy=cyclohexyl) afforded 3 ([Ir( 2 )(cod)Cl]) and 5 ([Ru( 2 )Cl2(?CH‐o‐O‐iPrC6H4)]), respectively. Complex 4 ([Ir( 2 )(CO)2Cl]) was obtained by bubbling carbon monoxide through a solution of 3 in CH2Cl2. Spectroelectrochemical IR analysis of 4 revealed that the oxidation of the ferrocene moiety in 2 significantly reduced the electron‐donating ability of the N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand (ΔTEP=9 cm?1; TEP=Tolman electronic parameter). The oxidation of 5 with [Fe(η5‐C5H4COMe)Cp][BF4] as well as the subsequent reduction of the corresponding product [ 5 ][BF4] with decamethylferrocene (Fc*) each proceeded in greater than 95 % yield. Mössbauer, UV/Vis and EPR spectroscopy analysis confirmed that [ 5 ][BF4] contained a ferrocenium species, indicating that the iron center was selectively oxidized over the ruthenium center. Complexes 5 and [ 5 ][BF4] were found to catalyze the ring‐closing metathesis (RCM) of diethyl diallylmalonate with observed pseudo‐first‐order rate constants (kobs) of 3.1×10?4 and 1.2×10?5 s?1, respectively. By adding suitable oxidants or reductants over the course of a RCM reaction, complex 5 was switched between different states of catalytic activity. A second‐generation N‐heterocyclic carbene that featured a 1′,2′,3′,4′,5′‐ pentamethylferrocenyl moiety ( 10 ) was also prepared and metal complexes containing this ligand were found to undergo iron‐centered oxidations at lower potentials than analogous complexes supported by 2 (0.30–0.36 V vs. 0.56–0.62 V, respectively). Redox switching experiments using [Ru( 10 )Cl2(?CH‐o‐O‐iPrC6H4)] revealed that greater than 94 % of the initial catalytic activity was restored after an oxidation–reduction cycle. 相似文献

Alkenylaluminums undergo asymmetric copper‐catalyzed conjugate addition (ACA) to β‐substituted enones allowing the formation of stereogenic all‐carbon quaternary centers. Phosphinamine–copper complexes proved to be particularly active and selective compared with phosphoramidite ligands. After extensive optimization, high enantioselectivities (up to 96 % ee) were obtained for the addition of alkenylalanes to β‐substituted enones. Two strategies for the generation of the requisite alkenylaluminums were explored allowing for the introduction of aryl‐ and alkyl‐substituted alkenyl nucleophiles. Moreover, alkyl‐substituted phosphinamine (SimplePhos) ligands were identified for the first time as highly efficient ligands for the Cu‐catalyzed ACA. 相似文献

In this work the applicability of four of the most commonly used viscosity mixing rules to [ionic liquid (IL)+molecular solvent (MS)] systems is assessed. More than one hundred (IL+MS) binary mixtures were selected from the literature to test the viscosity mixing rules proposed by 1) Hind (Hi), 2) Grunberg and Nissan (G–N), 3) Herric (He) and 4) Katti and Chaudhri (K–C). The analyses were performed by estimating the average (absolute or relative) deviations, AADs and ARDs, between the available experimental data and the predicted ideal mixture viscosity values obtained by means of each rule. The interaction terms corresponding to the adjustable parameters inherent to each rule were also calculated and their trends discussed. 相似文献

A simple and efficient procedure for the synthesis of a new class of organoselenium liquid crystal compounds was developed. The coupling of aryl bromides with elemental selenium was catalysed using copper oxide nanopowder in the presence of potassium hydroxide employing dimethyl sulfoxide as the solvent. This is the first report of the synthesis and characterisation of liquid crystal-based diselenides. Their mesophases were characterised by polarising optical microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. Compounds 1, 2 and 4b exhibited the smectic A phase. In addition, these compounds showed weak blue fluorescence in solution (λmax. em. 350–405 nm) and a Stokes shift of around 90 nm. 相似文献
