Gravitational Faraday Rotation of the Earth and Its Possible Test

It is shown that the rotation of the polarization plane of rays induced by a rotating body can be accumulated by means of a long baseline optical cavity. Theoretical analysis shows that the presently proposal experimental scheme is possible to test this gravitational Faraday rotation effect on the Earth, especially including how to effectively suppress the dominant part of the Sagnac effect due to the rotation of the Earth with a reasonable experimental configuration.     

用普通X射线荧光光谱仪进行铁价态的定量分析

本文用普通Ｘ射线荧光光谱仪，结合自编的ＰＥＡＫＦＩＴ谱处理系列软件，对按不同比例配制ＦｅＯ和Ｆｅ２Ｏ３混合物的Ｋβ谱形及谱峰参数进行了研究，用数学方法把实测的谱峰（各价态的重叠峰）分解为各化合态的子谱峰，求出了子峰的面积与总面积的比值，科学地找出了谱峰参数与铁价态的关系。

本文采用荧光法测定果蔬中Ｖｃ和ＶＢ２，方法特异性强，灵敏度高，回收率达９４．５％和９４．０％。     

实现半导体激光倍频的有机新晶体——MHBA

一种半导体激光倍频有机新晶体3-甲氧基4-羟基苯甲醛(MHBA),采用溶液降温法已培养出70mm×40mm×15mm的大单晶,实现了对808—817nm的半导体激光倍频的紫光(404—408.5nm)输出,在809nm处,获得了连续功率为3μW的404.5nm的紫光输出。

Continuous-Variable Entanglement in a Coupled Field-Mesoscopic Josephson Junction System

Continuous-variable entanglement in the interacting system of a mesoscopic Josephson junction with a squeezed field is investigated. It is shown that when the cavity field is initially prepared in a squeezed vacuum state and the junction in its lowest energy state, the coupling system can evolve into a two-mode Caussian state. The timedependent characteristic function in the Wigner representation for the system is analytically obtained, and the squeezing degree of the initial cavity field turns out to have not only an apparent enhancing but also a weakening effect on the entanglement of the coupling system under suitable parameter conditions.

NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF ECR PLASMA SOURCES

The available electron cyclotron resonance plasma source has been simulated in two-dimensional configuration space (z, r) and three-dimensional velocity space (V_z, V_r, V_θ). Using a hybrid model, we treat ions as particles and electrons as fluid. The motion of ions and electrons is determined by external magnetic field and self- consistent electrostatic field. For a given magnetic distribution, the spatial profiles of electron temperature, plasma potential, plasma density and ionization rate have been obtained. The influences of microwave power, neutral gas pressure and magnetic field on plasma parameters have been studied. The comparisons between simulation and experimental results are made and the explanations for some physical phenomena are given.
