We have studied IR absorption spectra (within the spectral range of 4000-200 cm−1 of the intracomplex chelate compounds Ni(II) bis-acetylacetonate, Ni(II) bis-ketoiminate, and Ni(II) bis-trifluoroacetylacetonate
and have given a full interpretation and comparison of the spectra of these compounds in dissolved and solid states. The reasons
for the differences in the spectra are discussed. The molar coefficients of extinction for the absorption bands are calculated.

Using the methods of scanning and spectral laser ellipsometry and Raman scattering spectroscopy, GeO2 films containing Ge nanoclusters with a Ge/GeO2 mole ratio of 1: 1 are studied. A substantial difference is found between the experimental spectral dependence of the complex permittivity of the films and the one calculated for the effective medium in the Bruggeman model. The distinction can be qualitatively explained by the influence of the quantum-size effect. With the use of theoretical models for quantitative analysis, this approach will make it possible to determine the phase composition and dimensions of the nanoclusters of germanium in a contactless way without destructing the film. 相似文献

Results are presented that were obtained by measuring single-spin asymmetry in the inclusive production of neutral pions in the reaction p+p ↑→ π 0+X at x F≈0. A beam of 70-GeV protons was extracted directly from the vacuum chamber of the accelerator by means of a bent single crystal. For transverse momenta in the range 1.0<p T<3.0 GeV/c, the single-spin asymmetry independently measured by two detectors is zero within the errors. This result is in agreement with Fermilab data obtained at 200 GeV, but it is at odds with CERN data measured at 24 GeV. 相似文献

Perpendicular exchange bias (PEB) involving perpendicular
magnetic anisotropy (PMA) in both the antiferromagnetic (AF) pinning and the
ferromagnetic (FM) sensor layer is expected to become important in future
perpendicular recording and sensing devices. Further, because of the reduced
spin dimensionality, PEB promises to be easier understandable than the
conventional planar exchange bias (EB). In addition to its first realization
using the Ising-type AF compounds FeF2 and FeCl2 we have tested
control strategies of EB being alternative to the conventional magnetic and
thermal ones. Indeed, specific symmetry properties of the pinning layer have
been shown to enable mechanical (viz. piezomagnetic via FeF2) and electric
control (viz. magneto-electric via Cr2O3) of EB, respectively.
Electric control promises to become relevant for TMR devices in MRAM

A theoretical study of the electron dynamics in image potential states on Cu(1 0 0) surfaces with different types of adsorbates is presented. Scattering of the image state electron by an adsorbate induces inter-band and intra-band transitions leading respectively to the population decay and to the dephasing of the image state. We compare results obtained with low coverage (typically 1 adsorbate atom per 1000 surface atoms) Cs, Ar, and a model electronegative adsorbates. As follows from our results, Cs adsorbates lead to both appreciable dephasing and decay, while electronegative adsorbates mostly affect the dephasing rate. The effect of low coverage Ar adsorbates is small, consistent with their neutrality. 相似文献

We present the modified Eulerian–Lagrangian (MEL) formulation, based on non-divergent forms of partial differential balance equations, for simulating transport of extensive quantities in a porous medium. Hydrodynamic derivatives are written in terms of modified velocities for particles propagating phase and component quantities along their respective paths. The particles physically interpreted velocities also address the heterogeneity of the matrix and fluid properties. The MEL formulation is also implemented to parabolic Partial Differential Equations (PDE’s) as these are shown to be interchangeable with equivalent PDE’s having hyperbolic – parabolic characteristics, without violating the same physical concepts. We prove that the MEL schemes provide a convergent and monotone approximation also to PDE’s with discontinuous coefficients. An extension to the Peclet number is presented that also accounts for advective dominant PDE’s with no reference to the fluid velocity or even when this velocity is not introduced.In Sorek et al. [27], a mathematical analysis for a linear system of coupled PDE’s and an example of nonlinear PDE’s, proved that the finite difference MEL, unlike an Eulerian scheme, guaranties the absence of spurious oscillations. Currently, we present notions of monotone interpolation associated with the MEL particle tracking procedure and prove the convergence of the MEL schemes to the original balance equation also for discontinuous coefficients on the basis of difference schemes approximating PDE’s. We provide numerical examples, also with highly random fields of permeabilities and/or dispersivities, suggesting that the MEL scheme produces resolutions that are more consistent with the physical phenomenon in comparison to the Eulerian and the Eulerian–Lagrangian (EL) schemes. 相似文献

The dichroic effect (“rotated” polarization) in the reflectivity from a magnetically ordered sample is experimentally studied at the station PHASE of the Kurchatov Synchrotron Radiation Source. The experiments are performed for the Gd0.23Co0.77 film, which has a compensation temperature Tcomp ≈ 433 K, using linearly polarized radiation of the photon energy of 7930 eV (L2 absorption edge of gadolinium) at room temperature. The developed theory of reflectivity accounted for the magnetic contributions to the scattering amplitude predicts the appearance of a peak for the orthogonal (to the incident polarization) polarization of the reflected radiation near the critical angle of the total external reflection. The experiment reveals the significant difficulties because of the incomplete σ polarization of the synchrotron beam, the beam instability, and so on. Therefore, a rotated-polarization peak has been detected near the critical angle but at the limits of the measurement accuracy. In principle, our experimental technique could be an alternative to circular polarization experiments, which are widely used at synchrotrons to study magnetic ordering. In this paper, we focus on the study of two-dimensional plate dynamics on the Lobachevskii plane L 2. First of all, we consider the free motion of such a plate, which is a pseudospherical analog of dynamics of the Euler top, and also present an analog of the Euler–Poisson equations enabling us to study the motion of the body in potential force fields having rotational symmetry. We present a series of integrable cases, having analogs in Euclidean space, for different fields. Moreover, in the paper, a partial qualitative analysis of the dynamics of free motion of a plate under arbitrary initial conditions is made and a number of computer illustrations are presented which show a substantial difference of the motion from the case of Euclidean space. The study undertaken in the present paper leads to interesting physical consequences, which enable us to detect the influence of curvature on the body dynamics. 相似文献
