Solutions in Sobolev spaces of vector refinement equations with a general dilation matrix

In this paper, we present a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions in a Sobolev space W_p^k(ℝ^s) (1≤p≤∞) to a vector refinement equation with a general dilation matrix. The criterion is constructive and can be implemented. Rate of convergence of vector cascade algorithms in a Sobolev space W_p^k(ℝ^s) will be investigated. When the dilation matrix is isotropic, a characterization will be given for the L_p (1≤p≤∞) critical smoothness exponent of a refinable function vector without the assumption of stability on the refinable function vector. As a consequence, we show that if a compactly supported function vector φ∈L_p(ℝ^s) (φ∈C(ℝ^s) when p=∞) satisfies a refinement equation with a finitely supported matrix mask, then all the components of φ must belong to a Lipschitz space Lip(ν,L_p(ℝ^s)) for some ν>0. This paper generalizes the results in R.Q. Jia, K.S. Lau and D.X. Zhou (J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 7 (2001) 143–167) in the univariate setting to the multivariate setting. 用峰面积判据改善Delsuc法预测的谱

基于Prony算法的Delsuc谱预测是目前NMR LPSVD(Linear Prediction SingularValue Decomposition)法中比较实用的方法。但在高噪声的条件下,时有失峰和假峰出现且要事先知道谱的峰数。本文通过跟踪迭代过程发现Delsuc法的判别因子r_(mis) 很难选定。如果它太小会失峰,而过大又会出现假峰。同时,由于噪声的影响,弱信号的采样点之间的相关性比强信号小,从而在迭代过程中会增加数值不稳定性。文中引入峰面积判据来改善Delsuc法,经模拟与实验均证明结果有效。     

CO-laser photoacoustic detection of phosgene (COCl2)

Detection of COCl₂, a highly toxic gas in chemical industry, using laser photoacoustic spectroscopy is presented. The spectrophone system used has a broad band LN₂ cooled CW CO laser as a source of radiation, which operates from 4.8–8.4 um in the mid-infrared. Using an extracavity open longitudinal resonant cell, absorption signals to about 30 CO laser lines in the 5.45 um region could be observed. detection sensitivity has been estimated to be ppb order.This work has been supported by the NSFC     

Spectroscopic imaging display and analysis.

A system for display of magnetic resonance (MR) spectroscopic imaging (SI) data is described which provides for efficient review and analysis of the multidimensional spectroscopic and spatial data format of this technique. Features include the rapid display of spectra from selected image voxels, formation of spectroscopic images, spectral and image data processing operations, methods for correlating spectroscopic image data with high resolution 1H MR images, and hardcopy facilities. Examples are shown for 31P and 1H spectroscopic imaging studies obtained in human and rat brain.

模糊集单调型分解定理

模糊集的分解集定理有两种形式，第一种形式与模糊集的λ—截集有关：Ａ＝其中Ａ＿λ是的λ—截集￣［１］．第二种形式与集合套有关：其中Ｈ（λ）为集合套￣［２］或者Ａ＝其中Ｈ（λ）为集合套，Ｑ为（０，１）的可列稠密子集＿［３］，．其实，这两种形式在本文提出的基本模糊集的概念下，可以统一起来成为任何模糊集可以分解为一些（可数或不可数）基本模糊集的和。不仅如此，本文还提出简单模糊集的概念，并证明了任何模糊集都可以表示成为可数个单调上升的简单模糊集的和，或等价地，可以表示成可数个单调上升的简单模糊集的极限，所用的证明方法是构造性的，所以对模糊集的结构也得出了一个清晰的认识．     

矩孔金属光栅矢量模式理论的数值计算

根据矩孔金属光栅的矢量模式理论，计算了不同入射方向，波长及偏振态情况下衍射场的分布，研究了不同光栅结构对衍射效率，偏振态变化的影响；同时，根据实际需要，加工制作了一批不同深度的矩孔光栅样品，进行了实验测量，并将计算值与实验值进行了比较，两者基本相符。     

Characteristics of soft magnetic composite material under rotating magnetic fluxes

This paper reports the measurement of magnetic properties of the soft magnetic composite material SOMALOY^TM 500 in a square sample under different patterns of flux density with 2D magnetic excitations. The test system, principle of measurement, magnetic power loss calculation, and methods of correction for misalignment of H surface sensing coils are presented. The experimental results show that although nominally isotropic, the SOMALOY^TM 500 sample exhibits some anisotropy. The results are useful in the design and performance analysis of rotating electrical machines.     

Photodecomposition of several compounds commonly used as sunscreen agents

The photolysis reactions of three compounds commonly used as a sunscreen agents, Parsol 1789 (1-[4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)phenyl]-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3- propanedione), Oxybenzone ((2-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)phenyl-methanone) and Padimate O (2-ethylhexyl-4-(dimethylamino)benzoate), were investigated to provide a chemical background to aid in the understanding of the photosensitization of the sunscreen agents. Photolysis was carried out in cyclohexane for 70–140 h using a mercury vapor lamp (450W) without excluding oxygen.

Irradation of Parsol 1789 in cyclohexane yielded tert-butylbenzene, p-tert-butylbenzoic acid and p-methoxybenzoic acid; products obtained from the combination of the sunscreen with the solvent included the cyclohexyl esters of p-methoxybenzoic acid, p-tert-butylbenzoic acid and methanoic acid; products obtained from the solvent included cyclohexanol, cyclohexanone and dicyclohexyl ether.

Irradiation of Oxybenzone in the cyclohexane for 100 h produced no detectable products by either gas or liquid chromatographic analysis. Oxybenzone was recovered unchanged and no products were observed from the photoinitiated reaction of oxygen with the solvent.

Irradiation of Padimate O in cyclohexane yielded the ethylhexyl esters of p-aminobenzoic acid, p-monomethylaminobenzoic acid and p-dimethylamino (o/m)-methylbenzoic acid, as well as products from the photoinitiated reaction of oxygen with the solvent.     

High temperature superconducting thin films for microwave filters

YBa₂Cu₃O_7-δ and Tl₂Ba₂CaCu₂O₈ thin films for microwave filters were synthesized by pulsed laser deposition and the two-step thalliation process. Substrate quality requirements and the relation of thin film morphology, microstructure with microwave surface resistance were discussed.
