Noninvasive monitoring of vascularization can potentially diagnose impaired bone healing earlier than current radiographic methods. In this study, a noncontact diffuse correlation tomography (DCT) technique was employed to measure longitudinal blood flow changes during bone healing in a murine femoral fracture model. The three-dimensional distribution of the relative blood flow was quantified from one day pre-fracture to 48 days post-fracture. For three mice, frequent DCT measurements were performed every other day for one week after fracture, and then weekly thereafter. A decrease in blood flow was observed in the bone fracture region at one day post-fracture, followed by a monotonic increase in blood flow beyond the pre-injury baseline until five to seven days post-fracture. For the remaining 12 mice, only weekly DCT measurements were performed. Data collected on a weekly basis show the blood flow for most mice was elevated above baseline during the first two post-fracture weeks, followed by a subsequent decrease. Torsional strength of the excised femurs was measured for all 15 mice after 7 weeks of healing. A metric based on the early blood flow changes shows a statistically significant difference between the high strength group and the low strength group.  相似文献

Nitrogen adsorption at 77 K on metal–organic framework (MOF) is investigated by means of molecular simulations. We consider both regular Cu–BTC crystal and a MOF-based hierarchical porous solid consisting of a mesopore carved out of a Cu–BTC crystal. The t-plot method is applied to these solids by using a non-porous Cu–BTC surface as the reference sample. The values of the mesoporous and external surface areas are determined from the t-plot, and the validity of the method for this type of hierarchical solid is discussed.  相似文献

The appearance potentials for the [R'CO2H2]+ ion produced in the fragmentation process \documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$ \left[{{\rm R}^{\rm '} {\rm CO}_{\rm 2} {\rm R}} \right]_{}^{_.^ + } $\end{document} → [R'CO2H2]++[R? 2H] have been measured using mono-energetic electron impact techniques for ethyl, n-propyl, and i-propyl formates and acetates. The results indicate that at the threshold the product ion has the protonated acid structure with the hydrogen on the carbonyl and not the hydroxyl group, and that the neutral product for the propyl esters is the allyl radical and not the cyclopropyl radical. For the propyl formates and acetates the appearance potential of the [R'CO2H2]+ ion is identical with the adiabatic ionization potential of the parent ester (measured by photoelectron spectroscopy) indicating that fragmentation occurs for ground state molecular ions. A two-step mechanism is proposed to rationalize the results.  相似文献

The heat of formation of the benzoyl cation generated from [C6H5COX]+˙ is found to depend on X, while the heat of formation of the phenyl ion produced therefrom is, with one exception, independent of X. The excess energy of the benzoyl cation can be accounted for by an electronic excited state of the ion in the mass spectra of benzoic acid, benzaldehyde, benzamide, methyl benzoate and possibly benzophenone; the benzoyl cation is not excited in the mass spectra of acetophenone and benzoyl chloride.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of a concentrated fermented dextrose (FD), a natural antimicrobial product, combined with low dose γ-irradiation (1.5 kGy) on the microbiological quality of fresh pork sausages. Fresh pork sausages containing the FD (0.25%, 0.5% and 0.75%) were prepared in a meat pilot plant and were irradiated using a UC-15A irradiator equipped with a 60Cobalt source. The γ-irradiation treatment alone was able to reduce the initial psychrophilic and mesophilic bacteria by more than 2 log CFU/g and kept the lactobacillus population under the detection limit (100 CFU/g). Results also showed that the FD alone was able to extend the shelf life of the sausages from 5 days up to 13 days. At day 13, the FD or irradiation alone showed 2 log CFU/g less mesophilic bacteria than the control. After combining FD and irradiation another reduction of the microbial count of 1 log CFU/g was observed. When combining the irradiation treatment with the FD results it showed a reduced growth rate of the psychrophilic and mesophilic bacteria compared to both treatments alone. This study demonstrated that FD with low dose gamma irradiation act in synergy to reduce the multiplication of the total bacterial flora in fresh sausages.  相似文献

The structural model for the title compound, C16H12N2O2, was refined using a multipolar atom model transferred from an experimental electron‐density database. The refinement showed some improvements of crystallographic statistical indices when compared with a conventional spherical neutral‐atom refinement. The title compound adopts a half‐chair conformation. The amide N atom lies almost in the plane defined by the three neighbouring C atoms. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by weak intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...π hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

This paper reports on the development of an optimized method for the simultaneous analysis of eight biogenic amines (histamine, methylamine, ethylamine, tyramine, putrescine, cadaverine, phenethylamine, and isoamylamine). The analytical method thus proposed has the following advantages: the easy derivatization of wine, the quantification of biogenic amines and a complete degradation of excess derivatization reagent during sample preparation in order to preserve the column. It consists in reversed phase separation by HPLC and UV–vis detection of the aminoenones formed by the reaction of amino compounds with the derivatization reagent diethyl ethoxymethylenemalonate (DEEMM). The usefulness of this technique was confirmed by an alternative oenological analytical method for the validation, quality control and uncertainty assessment (OIV Oeno 10/2005). The method was validated and proposed as a reference method to the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV). As a specific application of the proposed method, the biogenic amine content of Rhône valley wines was investigated.  相似文献
