A practical synthesis of acylated glycosyl isothiocyanates from sugar oxazolines, by reaction with thiophosgene, is reported. In the absence of any additive, the reaction is governed by the reverse anomeric effect, leading to the equatorially oriented isothiocyanate. However, in the presence of copper(II) chloride, the reaction proceeds preferentially with retention of the configuration at the anomeric center, providing the axial anomer as the major product. Noteworthy, this strategy allows accessing per-O-acetylated glycopyranosyl isothiocyanates with 1,2-cis relative configuration (e.g., the alpha-anomer in the D-gluco and D-galacto series), a problem that was outside the scope of previous methodologies.  相似文献

The feasibility of enhancing thermal conductivity of Al–4Cu–1Mg alloy by depositing 80Cu–20Mo coating using high-power lasers has been examined. Coatings of 667±2.5 μm thickness were formed with metallurgically sound interface. Results showed an 86% increase in the thermal conductivity of Al–4Cu–1Mg alloy due to laser-deposited 80Cu–20Mo alloy coating. This coating approach can potentially be used on low coefficient of thermal expansion metal matrix composites to enhance their thermal conductivity in electronic devices.  相似文献

GMO protein content in maize flours or fresh crops can be easily assessed by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) and immunochromatographic (lateral flow) strip tests commercially available. Therefore, ELISA can be seen as a useful tool for screening, for control purposes and for traceability implementation. In order to highlight the importance of monitoring GMO protein presence in food products and to investigate the performance of representative ELISA commercial kits, we evaluated three commercial kits by measuring the amount of Cry1Ab/Cry1Ac in IRMM certified reference materials.  A new concept for flow visualization is demonstrated in which fluorescence from locally seeded iodine is viewed in the wake of simple aerodynamic models at Mach 6. Localized seeding is performed by painting a small area of a ceramic model with a tincture of iodine. When the model is injected into the flow, the adsorbed iodine is entrained into the boundary layer, follows the model contour, and ultimately mixes into the wake region. Planar “snapshots” of the wake flow are taken by exciting the iodine with an ArF excimer laser sheet at 193 nm and observing the fluorescence in the 210–600 nm region with an intensified CCD camera. Instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) has been used at the research reactor of the Institute of Nuclear Techniques for measuring different types of samples for many years. For standardization purposes, the single comparator method has been applied. Since the theoretical basis of NAA is well understood, the sources of uncertainty can be well estimated, detailed uncertainty calculations have been recently performed to meet the increasing demands for method validation. INAA was validated by the analyses of sets of reference materials (RM), selectivity was controlled, accuracy and precision of the method as well as linearity, detection limits and measuring ranges were determined. Under the conditions of QA/QC, NAA can meet the high demands of trace element analysis. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The 4-deoxy-4-C-sulfonic acid and 6-deoxy-6-C-sulfonic acid derivatives of methyl α-d-gluco- and α-d-galactopyranosides were prepared by triflate-mediated nucleophilic displacement reactions, either with NaHSO3 or with AcSK. The triflate esters of methyl 2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl- 1, methyl 2,3,6-tri-O-benzyl-α-d-glucopyranoside 9 and methyl 2,3,6-tri-O-benzyl-α-d-galactopyranoside 5 provided methyl 6-deoxy-6-C-sulfo-α-d-glucopyranoside 4, methyl 4-deoxy-4-C-sulfo-α-d-galactopyranoside 12 and α-d-glucopyranoside 8, respectively. The triflate derivative of methyl 2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl-α-d-galactopyranoside 13 gave methyl 3,6-anhydro-2,4-di-O-benzyl-α-d-galactopyranoside 14. Formation of the 3,6-anhydro derivative was prevented by using 3,4-O-isopropylidene acetal protection to obtain methyl 6-deoxy-6-C-sulfo-α-d-galactopyranoside 19. The aim of the research is to replace the sulfate esters by sulfonic acids in the repeating oligosaccharide units of glycosaminoglycans or in different oligosaccharide ligands.  相似文献

Polyamide acid powders of pyromellitic dianhydride and 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether base were prepared in tetrahydrofuran, in the heterogeneous phase. The imidization of these powders was investigated by thermogravimetric, calorimetric and mass-spectrometric methods.According to the TG and DSC data, the temperatures of the beginning and maximum rate of imidization increase with increasing temperature and duration of imidization.A linear relationship has been found to exist between the weight loss and the reaction heat of the imidization process. The reaction heat corresponding to unit weight loss increases with decreasing molecular weight.Dicarboxylic anhydrides, applied as chain-terminators, do not affect the thermal properties of polyamide acids to an appreciable extent.Imidization has been found to be a complex process, in which decomposition of polyamide acids also takes place besides dehydrocyclization. The kinetics of imidization are satisfactorily described by a first-order dehydrocyclization and a parallel first-order decomposition. The weight loss during imidization is higher than the loss calculated on the basis of dehydrocyclization, which must be due to the release of the decomposition products of the polyamide acid, the release of solvated or complexed tetrahydrofuran, or that of possible oligomeric clusters.
Zusammenfassung Polyamidsäurepulver von Pyromellitdianhydrid und 4,4-Diamino-diphenyläther wurden in Tetrahydrofuran in heterogener Phase hergestellt. Die Imidisierung dieser Pulver wurde durch thermogravimetrische, kalorimetrische und Massenspektrometrische Methoden verfolgt.Nach TG- und DSC-Angaben steigt die Temperatur des Beginns und der Maximalgeschwindigkeit der Imidisierung mit steigender Temperatur und Imidisierungsdauer an.Ein linearer Zusammenhang wurde zwischen Gewichtsverlust und Reaktionswärme des Imidisierungsvorgangs gefunden. Die der Einheit des Gewichtsverlustes entsprechende Reaktionswärme nimmt mit abnehmendem Molekulargewicht zu.Als Kettenende angewandte Dicarboxylanhydride beeinflussen die thermischen Eigenschaften der Polyamidsäuren nicht in merklichem Maße.Es wurde festgestellt, daß die Imidisierung ein komplexer Vorgang ist, in dem außer der Dehydrocyclisierung auch eine Zersetzung der Polyamidsäuren stattfindet. Die Kinetik der Imidisierung kann durch eine Dehydrocyclisierung erster Ordnung und eine parallele Zersetzungsreaktion erster Ordnung befriedigend beschrieben werden. Der Gewichtsverlust während der Imidisierung ist höher als der aufgrund der Dehydrocyclisierung berechnete Verlust, was der Abspaltung von Zersetzungsprodukten der Polyamidsäure, der Freisetzung von solvatiertem oder komplexgebundenem Tetrahydrofuran oder eventueller oligomerer Einschlüsse zuzuschreiben ist.

Résumé Les polyamides en poudre résultant du dianhydride pyromellitique et de l'éther 4,4-diaminodiphénylique ont été préparés en phase hétérogène dans le té trahydrofuranne. La formation d'imides à partir de ces poudres a été étudiée par thermogravimétrie, calorimétrie et spectrométrie de masse.D'après les résultats obtenus par TG et DSC, les températures du début de la formation d'imide et la vitesse maximale de la réaction augmentent avec l'accroissement de la température et de la durée de la réaction.On a trouvé une corrélation linéaire entre la perte de poids et la chaleur de formation de l'imide. La chaleur de réaction correspondant à l'unité de perte de poids augmente quand le poids moléculaire diminue.Les anhydrides dicarboxyliques utilisés en bouts de chaines n'ont pas d'effet appréciable sur les propriétés thermiques des polyamides.On a établi que la formation d'imide est un processus complexe, au cours duquel, outre la déshydrocyclomérisation, une décomposition des polyamides a également lieu. La cinétique de la réaction peut être décrite de façon satisfaisante par une déshydrocyclomérisation du premier ordre et une réaction de décomposition parallèle également du premier ordre. Lors de la formation d'imide la perte de poids est plus élevée que celle calculée à partir de la déshydrocyclomé risation, ce qui provient sans doute du dégagement des produits de décomposition du polyamide, du dégagement du tétrahydrofuranne solvaté ou complexé ou bien de celui des inclusions oligomères éventuelles.

We demonstrate the use of a novel technique for the detection of heterodyne laser-induced thermal acoustic signals that allows the construction of a highly stable seedless laser velocimeter. A common-path configuration is combined with quadrature detection to provide flow direction, to greatly improve robustness to misalignment and vibration, and to give reliable velocity measurement at low-flow velocities. Comparison with Pitot tube measurements in the free stream of a wind tunnel shows root-mean-square errors of 0.67 m/s over the 0-55-m/s velocity range.  相似文献
