The drainage of a thin liquid film with an insoluble monolayer down a vertical wall is studied. Lubrication theory is used to develop a model where the film is pinned at the top with a given thickness and the film drains into a bath at the bottom. A nonlinear equation of state is used for the surface tension and the surface viscosity is a nonlinear function of the surfactant concentration; these are appropriate for some aqueous systems. The three partial differential equations are solved via discretization in space and then the resulting differential algebraic system is solved. Results are described for a wide range of parameters, and the conditions under which the free surface is immobilized are discussed.  相似文献

A method for improving separations of peptides and other positively charged species in capillary zone electrophoresis with untreated capillaries using acidic buffers containing tetraalkylammonium cations is described. Tetramethylammonium and tetrabutylammonium cations dynamically modify the capillary surface, leading to a reversal in the direction of the electroosmotic flow. As a result, the adsorption of positively charged peptides and proteins is minimized, and resolution and peak capacity are improved as the migration of cationic analytes is counterbalanced by the electroosmotic flow. The combining effect of reversing electroosmotic flow and cyclodextrin inclusion complexation on separations of closely related peptides and a protein mixture, as well as tryptic digest of hemoglobin is demonstrated.  相似文献

High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) are introduced for analysis of polymer lubricants (stearamide, oleamide and erucamide). In the HPLC method, a reverse phase octadecylsilane (ODS) column along with acetonitrile/methanol (60:40) as a mobile phase were used. Detection of analytes was performed by a UV detector at 202 nm. The analysis time was less than 8 min. In the GC method, polar capillary column and flame ionization detector (FID) were used for separations and detection, respectively. The analysis time by GC was longer than HPLC and was about 30 min. Limits of detection, linear range and repeatability of both methods are similar, but determination of oleamide in real samples by HPLC method is difficult due to complexity of the initial part of HPLC chromatogram in polyethylene samples. That problem is not observed in the GC method. Detection limits in both methods for all analytes are lower than 0.003% which are much lower than the amount of lubricants in commercial polymers (0.05–0.2%).  相似文献

In this paper, the Vieta–Fibonacci wavelets as a new family of orthonormal wavelets are generated. An operational matrix concerning fractional integration of these wavelets is extracted. A numerical scheme is established based on these wavelets and their fractional integral matrix together with the collocation technique to solve fractional pantograph equations. The presented method reduces solving the problem under study into solving a system of algebraic equations. Several examples are provided to show the accuracy of the method.  相似文献

We consider the solvability of fractional differential equations involving the Riesz fractional derivative. Our approach basically relies on the reduction of the problem considered to the equivalent nonlinear mixed Volterra and Cauchy-type singular integral equation and on the theory of fractional calculus. By establishing a compactness property of the Riemann–Liouville fractional integral operator on Lebesgue spaces and using the well-known Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, an existence of at least one solution is gleaned. In a position-space renormalization group (PSRG) approach to percolation one calculates the probabilityR(p,b) that a finite lattice of linear sizeb percolates, wherep is the occupation probability of a site or bond. A sequence of percolation thresholdsp c (b) is then estimated fromR(p c ,b)=p c (b) and extrapolated to the limitb to obtainp c =p c (). Recently, it was shown that for a certain spanning rule and boundary condition,R(p c ,)=R c is universal, and sincep c is not universal, the validity of PSRG approaches was questioned. We suggest that the equationR(p c ,b)=, where isany number in (0,1), provides a sequence ofp c (b)'s thatalways converges top c asb. Thus, there is anenvelope from any point inside of which one can converge top c . However, the convergence is optimal if =R c . By calculating the fractal dimension of the sample-spanning cluster atp c , we show that the same is true aboutany critical exponent of percolation that is calculated by a PSRG method. Thus PSRG methods are still a useful tool for investigating percolation properties of disordered systems.  相似文献

tert-Alkyl sulfides, with an α-(1H-benzotriazol-1-yl) group 6 and 13 , are readily prepared from N-[(aryl-thio)methyl]-1H-benzotriazoles 3 and N-( 11 ), respectively, by reaction with BuLi and then with the appropriate electrophile. The tert-alkyl sulfides 6 and 13 are smoothly converted by BF3. OEt2 into vinyl sulfides 5, 7 or 12 , respectively, in satisfactory yields.  相似文献
