A Ginzburg-Landau theory is presented to investigate solvation effects in near-critical polar fluid binary mixtures. Concentration dependence of the dielectric constant gives rise to a shell region around a charged particle within which solvation occurs preferentially. As the critical point is approached, the concentration has a long-range Ornstein-Zernike tail representing strong critical electrostriction. If salt is added, strong coupling arises among the critical fluctuations and the ions. The structure factors of the critical fluctuations and the charge density are calculated and the phase transition behavior is discussed.  相似文献

Gold adsorption by persimmon tannin (PT) gel from a solution containing hydrogen tetrachloroaurate(III) was examined. A flow-rate examination in a column system indicated the reduction of Au(III) ion to Au(0). XRD patterns clarified the existence of Au(0) on the gel which adsorbed gold. The gel could also adsorb colloidal Au(0) prepared independently. A model consisting of ligand exchange, Au(III) reduction to Au(0), and resulting Au(0) adsorption by PT gel was presented for the gold adsorption mechanism.  相似文献

A novel quaternary scandium borocarbosilicide Sc3.67−xB41.4−yzC0.67+zSi0.33−w was found. Single crystallites were obtained as an intergrowth phase in the float-zoned single crystal of Sc0.83−xB10.0−yC0.17+ySi0.083−z that has a face-centered cubic crystal structure. Single crystal structure analysis revealed that the compound has a hexagonal structure with lattice constants a = b = 1.43055(8) nm and c = 2.37477(13) nm and space group (No. 187). The crystal composition calculated from the structure analysis for the crystal with x = 0.52, y = 1.42, z = 1.17, and w = 0.02 was ScB12.3C0.58Si0.10 and that agreed rather well with the composition of ScB11.5C0.61Si0.04 measured by EPMA. In the crystal structure that is a new structure type of boron-rich borides, there are 79 structurally independent atomic sites, 69 boron and/or carbon sites, two silicon sites and eight scandium sites. Boron and carbon form seven structurally independent B12 icosahedra, one B9 polyhedron, one B10 polyhedron, one irregularly shaped B16 polyhedron in which only 10.7 boron atoms are available because of partial occupancies and 10 bridging sites. All polyhedron units and bridging site atoms interconnect each other forming a three-dimensional boron framework structure. Sc atoms reside in the open spaces in the boron framework structure.  相似文献

We examined hydrogenated purified egg yolk lecithins, having practical advantages over non-hydrogenated ones, as liposomal membrane materials. Liposomes were prepared by the microencapsulation vesicle (MCV) method in which liposomes are formed through two-step emulsification and dispersion. Three types of purified egg yolk lecithins with different iodine values were examined after being dissolved in one of three lipid solvents. The liposome size increased as the temperature during the second emulsification increased, being closer to the boiling temperature of the solvent. The preparation temperature in relation to the transition temperature of each lecithin was also a factor affecting liposome sizes. As for the encapsulation efficiencies of the model compound calcein in liposomes, they differed mainly depending on the solubility of each lecithin in a lipid solvent and it was more obvious in hydrogenated lecithins. A high preparation temperature resulted in lower encapsulation efficiencies, suggesting that leakage of encapsulated calcein was facilitated at high temperature in the MCV methods. There was a significant correlation between liposome sizes and encapsulation efficiencies in non-hydrogenated purified egg yolk lecithin but not in hydrogenated ones. When using hydrogenated purified egg yolk lecithins as liposomal membrane materials, it was suggested that a lipid solvent should be chosen so that a lecithin completely dissolves under the preparation condition in order to achieve a higher encapsulation efficiency. Smaller liposome particles were obtained when the second emulsification was performed at a lower temperature compared with the boiling point of the lipid solvent. These findings can be applied to control encapsulation efficiencies and particle sizes in each particular liposome preparation enclosing therapeutic agents.  相似文献

The conjugate addition reactions of BHA alkenoates with organolithiums in toluene or toluene-hexane at −78 °C were mediated by the chiral ligands 1 and 2 to give the corresponding 3-substituted alkanoates in high ees and high yields. The two ligands are complementary each other, 1 is effective for phenyl- and vinyllithiums to give the adducts in 64–93% ee, while 2 is effective for butyl- and ethyllithiums to give the adducts in 91–99% ee.  相似文献

An improved high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for unsaturated disaccharides prepared from hyaluronic acid and various chondroitin sulphate and dermatan sulphate isomers was developed, which involves an ion-exchange resin prepared from a sulphonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. The retention times of the individual unsaturated disaccharides were unique and reproducible, the disaccharides appearing in the following order: unsaturated non-sulphated disaccharide derived from hyaluronic acid, then unsaturated 6-sulphated, non-sulphated and 4-sulphated disaccharides from chondroitin sulphate isomers. Unsaturated disulphated disaccharide G had a much shorter retention time than the unsaturated non-sulphated disaccharide derived from hyaluronic acid. The contents of these individual unsaturated disaccharides could be determined with similar sensitivities on the basis of their ultraviolet absorbance. Selective and unique retention times and good resolutions were found for various unsaturated disulphated and trisulphated disaccharides. The proposed method can be used to determine various chondroitin sulphate and dermatan sulphate isomers in addition to hyaluronic acid in amounts as small as 100 ng to 8 micrograms. The practicality of this method was verified by its application to the separation and determination of the different types of chondroitin sulphate and dermatan sulphate isomers derived from human arteries in the presence of appreciable amounts of hyaluronic acid.  相似文献

We have developed oligothiophene-containing coumarin dyes fully functionalized for dye-sensitized nanocrystalline TiO(2) solar cells (DSSCs). DSSCs based on the dyes gave good performance in terms of incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCE) in the range of 400-800 nm. A solar energy-to-electricity conversion efficiency (eta) of 7.4% was obtained with a DSSC based on 2-cyano-3-[5'-(1,1,6,6-tetramethyl-10-oxo-2,3,5,6-tetrahydro-1H,4H,10H-11-oxa-3a-aza-benzo[de]anthracen-9-yl)-[2,2']bithiophenyl-5-yl]acrylic acid (NKX-2677) under simulated AM 1.5G irradiation (100 mW cm(-2)) with a mask: short-circuit current density (J(sc)) = 13.5 mA cm(-2); open-circuit voltage (V(oc)) = 0.71 V; fill factor (FF) = 0.77. Transient absorption spectroscopy measurements indicated that electron injection from NKX-2677 to the conduction band of TiO(2) is very rapid (<100 fs), which is much faster than the emission lifetime of the dye (1.0 ns), giving a highly efficient electron injection yield of near unity.  相似文献

Polymerization of vinyl chloride by the ternary catalyst system of VOCl3–AIRnCl3–n complexing agent was investigated. It was suggested that the formation of a polar complex (or charge-transfer complex) between AlRnCl3–n and the complexing agent participated in the polymerization of vinyl chloride. In the copolymerization of vinyl chloride with propylene with the present catalyst system, it was more difficult to incorporate the propylene unit in the copolymer than with a typical radical catalyst.  相似文献

The determination of nanometer thick layers of poly(methyl methacrylate) coated on to the surface of poly(ethylene terephthalate) film has been investigated by high resolution pyrolysis gas chromatography without sample pretreatment or modification of the instrumentation used. A good linear relationship was observed between the quantity of the characteristic pyrolysate and the thickness of the poly(methyl methacrylate) layer; the detection limit was sufficient to enable the quantitation of poly(methyl methacrylate)-to-poly(ethylene terephthalate) film thickness ratios of 1:20000 in composite materials.  相似文献
