Electrical resistance (R) measurements of a bulk La0.33Nd0.33Ca0.33MnO3 perovskite in magnetic fields up to 40 kOe have revealed anomalous temperature hysteretic effects both in 0 Oe and 20 kOe magnetic fields. The sharp peak observed in the R vs. T plot indicates the occurrence of metal-to-insulator (M-I) transition at a temperature of T MI=110 K and 140 K, for cooling and warming paths, respectively. An applied magnetic field of 20 kOe reduces the resistance and shifts T MI to 160 K and 185 K for cooling and warming, respectively. We have observed a much higher resistance in the cooling path than in the warming path leading to the hysteretic resistance ratio (R cool/R warm) of 200 at 110 K and 1.8 at 160 K for 0 Oe and 20 kOe, respectively. Record values of colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) have been achieved. The CMR value reaches nearly 99% in the temperature ranges of 90 K to 140 K and 90 K to 170 K for 20 kOe and 40 kOe magnetic fields in the cooling mode, respectively. The observed unusual behavior is attributed to the co-existence of La-rich and Nd-rich domains assumed to be distributed randomly in the compound.  相似文献

The analytical utility of ethyl acetoacetate for the spectrophotometric determination of benzothiadiazine diuretics has been studied. The procedure developed is based on coupling of the diazotized drugs with the reagent, which possesses an active methylene group. The stoichiometry of the reaction is presented. The nominal recovery of the drugs from pharmaceutical preparations ranges from 97.6 +/- 0.7 to 102.3 +/- 0.3%. The suggested method is simple, sensitive and applicable to unit dose analysis.  相似文献

We have studied the peak effect (PE) phenomenon in single crystals of weakly pinned superconductors CeRu2 and 2H-NbS2. 2H-NbS2 is iso-structural and iso-electronic to 2H-NbSe2, whose similarity with CeRu2 as regards the PE representing the order-to-disorder transformation of the flux line lattice was claimed some time ago. We report on the step change in equilibrium magnetization across the peak effect in CeRu2. We also present the vortex phase diagram of 2H-NbS2 obtained from the magnetization data, and compare the PE phenomenon in 2H-NbS2 and 2H-NbSe2.  相似文献

Among the systems used as optical amplifiers, we propose an original way to elaborate photoluminescent materials. The method is based on the reactive RF magnetron co-sputtering of SiO2 and Er2O3 controlled by the hydrogen dilution rate in the plasma gas. The relationship between the photoluminescence properties and the structural characteristics is evidenced through the variation of two parameters in the deposition process: the hydrogen partial pressure within the plasma and the sputtered surface ratio of Er2O3 and SiO2 targets.  相似文献

New Mn(III)‐L and Mn(IV)‐L complexes were prepared from the highly lipophilic salophen ligand (L): phenol 2,2′‐[(4,5‐dimethyl‐1,2‐phenylene)bis[(E)‐nitrilomethylidyne]]bis[4,6‐bis(1,1‐dimethylethyl). The prepared complexes were fully characterized and used for the construction of thiocyanate membrane electrodes. Optimized membrane electrodes contained 33.0 mg PVC, 66.0 mg o‐nitrophenyloctylether, 50 or 5 (mole %) tetrakis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl borate and 1 mg Mn(III)‐L (sensor 2) or Mn‐(IV)‐L (sensor 12), respectively. Such electrodes exhibited linear responses toward thiocynate in a concentration range of 10?1–10?5 M and detection limits of 8.3×10?6, 8.9×10?6 M for sensor 2 and 12, respectively. Optimized membrane electrodes exhbited high selectivty toward thiocayante compared to more lipophilic anions. The observed thiocyanate selectivity of the optimized membranes was confirmed by formation constant calculations for Mn(III)‐L and Mn(IV)‐L with SCN?, β=1014.1 and 1012.5, which was measured potentiometrically using the sandwich membrane method. Furthermore, computational study using DFT calculations was performed to at DFT/B3LYP level of theory to confirm the observed selectivity data. The response times were 3 and 0.5 min for low and high concentrations. The lifetimes of the optimized electrodes were ~4–6 weeks. The analytical utility of the optimized membrane electrodes was demonstrated by the analysis of thiocyanate level in different saliva samples.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, and sensitive validated spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of certain macrolide antibiotics namely, erythromycin (I), azithromycin dihydrate (II), clarithromycin (III), and roxithromycin (IV) in bulk powders, pharmaceutical formulations, and spiked biological fluids. The proposed method is based on the formation of a binary complex between each of the studied drugs and eosin Y in aqueous buffered medium. Under the optimum conditions, the binary complexes showed absorption maxima at 542-544 nm. The absorbance of the binary complexes obeyed Beer's law over the concentration range of 1-10 micro/g/mL for II, 2-20 microg/mL for I and IV, and 3-30 microg/mL for III. The mean percentage recoveries were 100.04 +/- 0.83, 99.98 +/- 0.80, 100.17 +/- 0.91, and 99.55 +/- 0.91, with minimum detectable molarities of 2 x 10(-7) for I and II, 4 x 10(-7) for III, and 3 x 10(-7) for IV. The different experimental parameters affecting the development and stability of the colors were studied and optimized. The proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of the cited drugs in some pharmaceutical formulations. The results obtained were in good agreement with those obtained using the reference methods. The proposed method was further applied to spiked human urine and plasma. A proposal of the reaction pathway is suggested.  相似文献

Herein, we report the synthesis of various heterocyclic ring systems containing 1,2,3-triazole from the reactions of acid hydrazides and commercially available reagents, using efficient and simple procedures. Reactions of certain 1,2,3-triazole-4-carbohydrazides and α-bromoketones in boiling ethanol afforded the corresponding hydrazones rather than the expected triazines. The hydrazones could also be synthesized in 85-90% yield via an alternative pathway that involved the reaction of 1,2,3-triazole-4-carbohydrazides and 4-acetyl-1,2,3-triazoles in boiling ethanol containing glacial acetic acid. Reaction of one of the 4-carbohydrazides with carbon disulfide, followed by the reaction with hydrazine hydrate, gave 4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol in 73% yield, which further reacted with other α-bromoketones in boiling ethanol to afford 7H-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazines in 82-84% yields. Additionally, reactions of certain carbohydrazides with ethyl 2-cyano-3,3-bis(methylthio)acrylate gave 1-aryl-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carbohydrazides rather than the expected 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylates.  相似文献

Abstract

A sensitive, rapid, accurate and precise procedure for the microdetermination of heparin sodium in bulk, in injection and in blood serum. The procedure was built around the fact that heparin possesses many active binding sites; carboxylic, hydroxylic, amino and sulphonated groups, which are strongly bound to Eu3+ ions. Such binding enhances the europium emission at 616 nm which is a forbidden transition. The emission of europium at 592 nm comes from a non hypersensitive transition and is not affected by the ligand which is bound to europium ions. The intensity ratio R, defined as I592/I616 was used to determine the amount of free and bound europium ions. There is a linear relationship between bound europium ions and heparin sodium within the concentration range 1–12 ug. mL?1 (0.07–0.84 USP. IN). Reaction conditions were studied and percentage recoveries was 99.77 ± 1.68. The relative stability of the complex was 1.2E5 and the correlation coefficient was 0.99923. Heparin was isolated from serum using ECTEOLA-cellulose and Sephadex G25 columns. The method shows good agreement with an anilinonaphthalene-1-sulfonate (ANS) and protamine fluorometric method.  相似文献

Phthalazines have received considerable attention for their wide antimicrobial activity. Regiospecific nucleophilic attack of 4‐benzylphthalazin‐1‐ol by the 1‐oxo rather than the aza group on different alkyl halides gave novel phthalazine heterocyclic derivatives. Moreover, a variety of nucleosides bonded to electron‐withdrawing groups were synthesized using 4‐benzylphthalazine‐1‐ol. The density functional theory has been used to investigate the electronic structure of the synthesized compounds. All of the synthesized derivatives showed remarkable activity when tested against Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, Aspergillus niger, and Candida albicans. The reactivity of these nucleosides was expected to arise from their bonding with the lone pair of N‐atom of the macromolecules of bacteria. These bonding were expected to inhibit the enzyme by forming highly stable complex with lower highest occupied molecular orbital energy. The structures of these synthesized derivatives were established by Fourier transform infrared, 1H‐NMR, and 13C‐NMR spectroscopic evidence.  相似文献
