Bifurcations of a parametrically excited oscillator with strong nonlinearity

A parametrically excited oscillator with strong nonlinearity, including van der Pol and Duffing types, is studied for static bifurcations. The applicable range of the modified Lindstedt－Poincaré method is extended to 1/2 subharmonic resonance systems. The bifurcation equation of a strongly nonlinear oscillator, which is transformed into a small parameter system, is determined by the multiple scales method. On the basis of the singularity theory, the transition set and the bifurcation diagram in various regions of the parameter plane are analysed.     

Equilibrium points and bifurcation control of a chaotic system

Based on the Routh-Hurwitz criterion, this paper investigates the stability of a new chaotic system. State feedback controllers are designed to control the chaotic system to the unsteady equilibrium points and limit cycle. Theoretical analyses give the range of value of control parameters to stabilize the unsteady equilibrium points of the chaotic system and its critical parameter for generating Hopf bifurcation. Certain nP periodic orbits can be stabilized by parameter adjustment. Numerical simulations indicate that the method can effectively guide the system trajectories to unsteady equilibrium points and periodic orbits.

高温扫描隧道显微镜(HT-STM)可以实时原位地捕捉到表面原子的熔化相变过程.在这一原位变温实验中,快速可靠地识别出每帧STM图像中的熔融相十分关键.传统的手工统计方法存在效率低下、随意性大等问题.我们发展出一套基于数学形态学的算法,来自动快速地识别.与人工方法相比,该算法消除了人为主观误差,使确定的边界更加准确、光滑,处理效率提高了266倍.     

MKdV方程的拟小波解

用拟小波方法求MKdV方程的数值解-先用拟小波离散格式离散空间导数，然后用四阶Runge-Kutta方法离散时间导数,对一个有精确解的实例ut+6u2ux+uxxx=0进行了数值计算-拟小波解与解析解完全重合，t=10000s时，二者也没有偏差- 关键词： MKdV方程 拟小波方法 孤子解     

一类非自治时滞反馈系统的分岔控制

对含有两个时滞参数、受简谐激励作用下的van der Pol-Duffing方程进行了研究，着重研究了时滞参数对该类参数激励系统的主共振的分岔响应控制.首先采用摄动法从理论上推导出时滞动力系统的分岔响应方程，用奇异性理论得到了退化余维一分岔和余维二分岔的条件，以及Hopf分岔的存在性及发生该分岔的条件，最后用数值模拟的方法研究了时滞参数对系统分岔响应的影响.研究结果表明，适当选取时滞参数，不仅可以改变分岔响应曲线的拓扑形态， 还可以改变分岔点的位置. 关键词： 摄动法 分岔控制 时滞动力系统

VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF A ROD WITH COMPLEX BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

This paper deals with the forced longitudinal vibration ora rod carrying a concentrated mass and supported by a spring at one end. The vibration of the rod is excited by the motion of the support point at the other end Since the boundary conditions of the problem are complex and it is necessary to consider the damping, we determine only the steady state periodic solution. First the linear system is analysed, then the material nonlinearity is considered and the approximate analytic solution of nonlinear partial differential equation with nonlinear boundary conditions is obtained by the perturbation method.
