High-density and uniform well-aligned ZnO sub-micron rods are synthesized on the silicon substrate over a large area. The morphology and structure of the ZnO sub-micron rods are investigated by x-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectra. It is found that the ZnO sub-micron rods are of high crystal quality with the diameter in the range of 400-600 nm and the length of several micrometres long. The optical properties were studied by photoluminescence spectra. The results show that the intensity of the ultraviolet emission at 3.3eV is rather high, meanwhile the deep level transition centred at about 2.38eV is weak. The free exciton emission could a/so be observed at low temperature, which implies the high optical quality of the ZnO sub-micron rods.This growth technique provides one effective way to fabricate the high crystal quality ZnO nanowires array, which is very important for potential applications in the new-type optoelectronic nanodevices. 相似文献

Nonlinear cascade-configuration multi-wave mixing scheme based on electromagnetically induced transparency 下载免费PDF全文
A nonlinear optical cascade-configuration multi-wave mixing (CCMWM) scheme is presented and analysed for the generation of coherent light in a six-level atomic system in the context of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). A detailed semi-classical study of the propagation of the generated mixing and probe fields is demonstrated. We show by numerical simulations that EIT is capable of suppressing linear and nonlinear photon absorption. The analytical dependence of the generated mixing field on the probe field and the respective detuning is also predicted. Such a nonlinear optical process can be used for generating coherent short-wavelength radiation. 相似文献

Using Schroedinger-Maxwell formalism, we propose and analyse a cw four-wave mixing (FWM) scheme for the generation of coherent light in a five-level double-∧ atomic system based on electromagnetically induced transparency. We derive the corresponding explicit analytical expressions for the generated FWM field. The influence of hyperfine sublevel on the amplitude of the generated FWM field is predicted in detail. This paper presents a three-dimensional time-dependent nonlinear theory of helix traveling wave tubes for beamwave interaction.The radio frequency electromagnetic fields are represented as the superposition of azimuthally symmetric waves in a vacuum sheath helix.Coupling impedance is introduced to the electromagnetic field equations’ stimulating sources,which makes the theory easier and more flexible to realize.The space charge fields are calculated by electron beam space-charge waves expressed as the superposition solutions of Helmholtz equations.The focusing forces due to either a solenoidal field or a periodic permanent magnetic field is also included.The dynamical equations of electrons are Lorentz equations associating with electromagnetic fields,focusing fields and space-charge fields.The numerically simulated results of a tube are presented. 相似文献
