A multiwavelength, multistripe tunable laser array is proposed, and its application to absorption spectroscopy is demonstrated. Laser waveguides doped with Rhodamine 6 G dye were integrated on a plastic chip, and simultaneous output at different wavelengths was obtained by use of a distributed-feedback technique. A very low threshold of 3 muJ was attained, and spectrally narrowed output (<0.1 nm) was obtained. A scheme for digital spectroscopy is also proposed based on this laser array, and absorption spectroscopy of sodium atoms without wavelength scanning is demonstrated by use of a sodium-vapor cell.  相似文献

Nano-sized magnetic Y3Fe5O12 ferrite having a high heat generation ability in an AC magnetic field was prepared by bead milling. A commercial powder sample (non-milled sample) of ca. 2.9 μm in particle size did not show any temperature enhancement in the AC magnetic field. The heat generation ability in the AC magnetic field improved with a decrease in the average crystallite size for the bead-milled Y3Fe5O12 ferrites. The highest heat ability in the AC magnetic field was for the fine Y3Fe5O12 powder with a 15-nm crystallite size (the samples were milled for 4 h using 0.1 mm? beads). The heat generation ability of the excessively milled Y3Fe5O12 samples decreased. The main reason for the high heat generation property of the milled samples was ascribed to an increase in the Néel relaxation of the superparamagnetic material. The heat generation ability was not influenced by the concentration of the ferrite powder. For the samples milled for 4 h using 0.1 mm? beads, the heat generation ability (W g−1) was estimated using a 3.58×10−4 fH2 frequency (f/kHz) and the magnetic field (H/kA m−1), which is the highest reported value of superparamagnetic materials.  相似文献

In this research, zeolite-derived aluminosilicate phosphors were synthesized through the ion exchange route. Red light-emitting property of Eu3+-doped aluminosilicate phosphors were discussed from a view point of the Eu content, heat-treatment condition and the oxidation state of Eu ions. The crystalline phase of the host aluminosilicates could be successfully controlled as designed based on the published NaAlO2–SiO2 binary phase diagram. Orange-red emission peaks derived from the 5D07Fj (j=0, 1, 2, 3, 4) transition of Eu3+ were observed around 590–700 nm, and 4f65d→4f7 transition of Eu2+ was observed at around 400–500 nm. The relative intensity I(5D07F2) of the dominant emission peak at 612 nm increased consistently with the Eu content. The results of the XANES spectroscopy analysis revealed that Eu2+ ion in the 1400 °C as heat-treated host aluminosilicate were successfully converted to Eu3+ by the additional annealing at 1100 °C. The Eu contents and heat-treatment conditions were determined to exhibit the best performance as a red phosphor, which were 10 wt% and 1500 °C, respectively  相似文献

Isotopic ZnO thin films were deposited on the c-plane of ZnO single crystals by pulsed laser deposition. The isotopic abundance of Zn in the films was determined with a secondary ion mass spectrometry before and after the films was diffusion annealed. The diffusion profiles across the film/substrate interface behaved smooth features. The zinc diffusion coefficient (DZn) was obtained by analyzing the slope of the profile in the annealed sample. The temperature dependence of DZn was determined to be DZn(cm2/s)=8.0×104exp(?417[kJ/mol])/RT, where R and T are gas constant and temperature. The zinc ion diffusion coefficients were of the same order as that in a ZnO single crystal. A comparison of the experimental and theoretical values indicated that the zinc ions diffused in the thin film and the single crystal through a vacancy mechanism.  相似文献

We show that an experimental demonstration of quantum contextuality using 2 degrees of freedom of single neutrons based on a violation of an inequality derived from the Peres-Mermin proof of the Kochen-Specker theorem would be more conclusive than those obtained from previous experiments involving pairs of ions [M. We studied a new pulse laser ablation phenomenon on a liquid surface layer, which is caused by the difference between the refractive indices of the two materials involved. The present study was motivated by our previous study, which showed that laser ablation can occur at the interface between a transparent material and a gas or liquid medium when the laser pulse is focused through the transparent material. In this case, the ablation threshold fluence is reduced remarkably. In the present study, experiments were conducted in water and air in order to confirm this phenomenon for a combination of two fluid media with different refractive indices. This phenomenon was observed in detail by pulse laser shadowgraphy. A high-resolution film was used to record the phenomenon with a Nd:YAG pulse laser with 10-ns duration as a light source. The laser ablation phenomenon on the liquid surface layer caused by a focused Nd:YAG laser pulse with 1064-nm wavelength was found to be followed by the splashing of the liquid surface, inducing a liquid jet with many ligaments. The liquid jet extension velocity was around 1000 m/s in a typical case. The liquid jet decelerated drastically due to rapid atomization at the tips of the ligaments. The liquid jet phenomenon was found to depend on the pulse laser parameters such as the laser fluence on the liquid surface, laser energy, and laser beam pattern. The threshold laser fluence for the generation of a liquid jet was 20 J/cm2. By increasing the incident laser energy with a fixed laser fluence, the laser focused area increased, which eventually led to an increase in the size of the plasma column. The larger the laser energy, the larger the jet size and the longer the temporal behavior. The laser beam pattern was found to have significant effects on the liquid jet’s velocity, shape, and history.  相似文献

The surface structure of a single-crystal ZnO wafer was studied by angle-resolved x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (ARXPS) using synchrotron radiation. As a result, well-defined x-ray photoelectron diffraction (XPD) patterns were obtained for the (0001) and (0001¯) polar surfaces using the photoemission from the Zn 2p3/2 and O 1s core levels. The XPD patterns were indexed assuming forward scattering of photoelectrons by neighboring ions. Further, the XPD patterns for the (0001) and (0001¯) surfaces were different from each other, indicating the possibility for using the XPD technique for polarity determination.  相似文献

We show that local and semilocal strings in Abelian and non-Abelian gauge theories with critical couplings always reconnect classically in collision, by using moduli space approximation. The moduli matrix formalism explicitly identifies a well-defined set of the vortex moduli parameters. Our analysis of generic geodesic motion in terms of those shows right-angle scattering in head-on collision of two vortices, which is known to give the reconnection of the strings.  相似文献

Several studies have proposed the cell membrane as the main water diffusion restricting factor in the skeletal muscle cell. We sought to establish whether a particular form of exercise training (which is likely to affect only intracellular components) could affect water diffusion. The purpose of this study is to characterise prospectively the changes in diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) eigenvalues of thigh muscle resulting from hybrid training (HYBT) in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Twenty-one NAFLD patients underwent HYBT for 30 minutes per day, twice a week for 6 months. Patients were scanned using DTI of the thigh pre- and post-HYBT. Fractional anisotropy (FA), apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), the three eigenvalues lambda 1 (λ1), λ2, λ3, and the maximal cross sectional area (CSA) were measured in bilateral thigh muscles: knee flexors (biceps femoris (BF), semitendinosus (ST), semimembranous (SM)) and knee extensors (medial vastus (MV), intermediate vastus (IV), lateral vastus (LV), and rectus femoris (RF)), and compared pre- and post-HYBT by paired t-test. Muscle strength of extensors (P < 0.01), but not flexors, increased significantly post-HYBT. For FA, ADC and eigenvalues, the overall picture was of increase. Some (P < 0.05 in λ2 and P < 0.01 in λ1) eigenvalues of flexors and all (λ1-λ3) eigenvalues of extensors increased significantly (P < 0.01) post-HYBT. HYBT increased all 3 eigenvalues. We suggest this might be caused by enlargement of muscle intracellular space.  相似文献
