New D-π-A dyes for efficient dye-sensitized solar cells

Functional organic dyes have promising prospect in dye-sensitized solar cells as a crucial element, of which sensitizers based on donor-π-acceptor are the most important dyes. On the basis of the structures of the aromatic amine donors such as triphenylamine and indoline, this paper reviews the photoelectric conversion properties of organic sensitizers since 2008, and highlights research work in our laboratory in this area.     

Pattern discrimination and firing behavior of cold receptor model aided with noise

A method for characterizing and identifying firing patterns of neural spike trains is presented. Three characteristic variables defined at sequential moments, including two formal derivatives and the integration of the counting process, are introduced to reflect the temporal patterns of a spike train. This paper also examines how noise interacts with encoding mechanisms of neuronal stimulus in a cold receptor. From ISI series and bifurcation diagrams it is shown that there are considerable differences in interval distributions and impulse patterns caused by purely deterministic simulations and noisy simulations. The ISI-distance can be used as an effective and powerful way to measure the noise effects on spike trains quantitatively. It is found that spike trains observed in cold receptors can be more strongly affected by noise for low temperatures than for high temperatures in some aspects; meanwhile, spike train has greater variability with the noise intensity increasing.     

有机层界面对双层有机发光二极管复合效率的影响

建立了双层有机发光二极管中载流子在有机层界面复合的无序跳跃理论模型.由于有机分子材料的空间及能带结构的无序性，采用刚体模型处理有机层界面问题是不恰当的，而采用无序跳跃模型比较合理.复合效率及复合电流由载流子跳跃距离、有机层界面的有效势垒高度及该界面处的电场强度分布所决定：在双层器件ITO/α-NPD/Alq₃/Al中，当所加电压小于19.5V时，复合效率随着载流子跳跃距离的增加而增加，而大于19.5V时，复合效率随着其距离的增加而减少；复合效率随着有机层界面有效势垒高度的增加而增加； 关键词： 有机层界面 双层有机发光二极管 复合效率 有效势垒高度 无序跳跃模型     

光锥与CCD耦合器件调制传递函数的测试方法

采用直接对倾斜刀口成像的方法测量光锥与CCD耦合器件的调制传递函数.这种方法对静止刀口成像,利用刀口与光锥纤维列间的一定倾斜角度,在垂直于刀口的不同行之间形成不同的值,代替了传统刀口扫描中的扫描装置,并无需保证刀口与阵列的平行,相应地减小了测量误差. 在数据处理中采用了二次平均法,即对同一幅图像得出的不同位置值进行平均及多次测量结果平均,在一定程度上消除了由于离散性产生的空间非平移不变性的影响.     

Synthesis and Application of N-Tosyl Piperidinyl-Containing α-Aminophosphonates

Abstract

A series of novel (4′-tosyl) piperidin-4-yl containing α-aminophosphonates were synthesized by a one-pot reaction, efficiently catalyzed by magnesium perchlorate, under solvent-free conditions from 1-tosylpiperidin-4-one, substituted aromatic amines, and diethyl phosphite (DEP). The synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, ³¹P NMR, and HRMS spectroscopy. A single-crystal X-ray structure of diethyl 4-(2-chlorophenyl) amino-1-(4’-methylbezenesulfonyl) piperidin-4-yl-phosphonate (2a) was obtained, and some of the title compounds displayed insecticidal activities against Plutella xylostella.

Metal-free synthesis of (E)-vinyl sulfones via denitrative coupling reactions of β-nitrostyrenes with sodium sulfinates

Abstract

A practical metal-free procedure for the synthesis of (E)-vinyl sulfones has been developed through the coupling of β-nitrostyrenes with sodium sulfinates under microwave irradiation. This methodology provides a convenient and efficient approach to various (E)-vinyl sulfones from readily available starting materials with excellent regioselectivity. The present oxidative reaction involves an efficient denitrative radical cross-coupling of β-nitrostyrenes with sodium sulfinates via using AcOH as an additive.     

Synthesis of symmetrical 1, 3-diynes via tandem reaction of (Z)-arylvinyl bromides in the presence of DBU and CuI

Microwave-assisted tandem reaction of(Z)-arylvinyl bromides involving an elimination and homocoupling in the presence of DBU and Cul in DMF affords a variety of symmetrical 1,3-diynes in good to excellent yields.This tandem process,eliminating the need of volatile and savory terminal alkynes,provides an alternative to the conventional homocoupling methods for the synthesis of symmetrical 1,3-diynes.     

Electropolymerization of single‐walled carbon nanotubes composited with polypyrrole as a solid‐phase microextraction fiber for the detection of acrylamide in food samples using GC with electron‐capture detection

We developed a solid‐phase microextraction coupled to GC with electron‐capture detection method for the detection of acrylamide in food samples. Single‐walled carbon nanotubes and polypyrrole were electropolymerized onto a stainless‐steel wire as a coating, which possessed a homogeneous, porous, and wrinkled surface, chemical and mechanical stability, long lifespan (over 300 extractions), and good extraction efficiency for acrylamide. The linearity range between the signal intensity and the acrylamide concentration was found to be in the range 0.001–1 μg/mL, and the coefficient of determination was 0.9985. The LOD, defined as three times the baseline noise, was 0.26 ng/mL. The reproducibility for each single fiber (n = 6) and the fiber‐to‐fiber (n = 5) repeatability prepared in the same batch were less than 4.1 and 11.2%, respectively.
