We present extreme ultraviolet spectra of 3s3p–3s3d transitions in Fe14+ observed with a compact electron beam ion trap. The contributions of indirect excitation via a metastable state and resonant excitation are studied by observing the electron energy dependence of the spectra for the energy range of 60–210 eV. The results indicate that the 3s3d 1D2 level is directly excited from the 3s2 ground state whereas the 3s3d 3D3 level has a large contribution of the indirect excitation via the 3s3p 3P2 metastable state. Comparisons with the theoretical excitation cross sections including MNn resonant excitations show good qualitative agreement with the experimental results for the electron energy dependent features.  相似文献

Nanocarbons, such as fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, and graphenes, have long inspired the scientific community. In order to synthesize nanocarbon molecules in an atomically precise fashion, many synthetic reactions have been developed. The ultimate challenge for synthetic chemists in nanocarbon science is the creation of periodic three-dimensional (3D) carbon crystals. In 1991, Mackay and Terrones proposed periodic 3D carbon crystals with negative Gaussian curvatures that consist of six- and eight-membered rings (the so-called Mackay–Terrones crystals). The existence of the eight-membered rings causes a warped nanocarbon structure. The Mackay–Terrones crystals are considered a “dream material”, and have been predicted to exhibit extraordinary mechanical, magnetic, and optoelectronic properties (harder than diamond, for example). To turn the dream of having this wonder material into reality, the development of methods enabling the creation of octagon-embedding polycyclic structures (or nanographenes) is of fundamental and practical importance. This review describes the most vibrant synthetic achievements that the scientific community has performed to obtain curved polycyclic nanocarbons with eight-membered rings, building blocks that could potentially give access as templates to larger nanographenes, and eventually to Mackay–Terrones crystals, by structural expansion strategies.

The adsorption and desorption behaviors of gold (III), palladium (II) and platinum (IV) were surveyed in column chromatographic systems consisting of one of the conventional anion-exchange resins of large ion-exchange capacity and dilute thiourea solutions. The noble metals were strongly adsorbed on the anion-exchange resins from dilute hydrochloric acid, while most base metals did not show any marked adsorbability. These facts made it possible to separate the noble metals from a large quantity of base metals such as Ag (I), Al (III), Co (II), Cu (II), ¶Fe (III), Mn (II), Ni (II), Pb (II), and Zn (II). Although it used to be very difficult to desorb the noble metals from the resins used, the difficulty was easily overcome by use of dilute thiourea solutions as an eluant. In the present study, as little as 1.00 μg of the respective noble metals was quantitatively separated and recovered from as much as ca. 10 mg of a number of metals on a small column by elution with a small amount of dilute thiourea solution. The present systems should be applicable to the separation, concentration and recovery of traces of the noble metals from a number of base metals coexisting in a more extended range of amounts and ratios.  相似文献

The acoustic effects of stage risers, especially on the sound of lower string instruments, are numerically and experimentally analyzed. To discuss the effects of the vibration of riser’s boards due to the mechanical force from an instrument, a structural-acoustical coupling approach is applied based on the mode expansion and the boundary element technique. Measurement results of the mechanical force from real instruments are used in the numerical study. The vibration of the top board of a riser affects the sound field only around the natural frequencies of the board and the cavity of the riser. In contrast, the acoustic diffraction due to the riser affects the sound field in a wide frequency range. The riser’s sideboard that faces to receiving points increases the sound pressure levels because it reflects waves diffracted at the riser’s edge to the front. To verify the numerical results, the effects of acoustic diffraction due to risers are especially investigated in detail through a scale model experiment.  相似文献

Ab initio molecular dynamics approach has been extended to multi-state dynamics on the basis of the spin–orbit coupled electronic states that are obtained through diagonalization of the spin–orbit coupling matrix with the multi-state second-order multireference perturbation theory energies in diagonal elements and the spin–orbit coupling terms at the state-averaged complete active space self-consistent field level in off-diagonal elements. Nonadiabatic transitions over the spin–orbit coupled states were taken into account explicitly by a surface hopping scheme with utilizing the nonadiabatic coupling terms calculated by numerical differentiation of the spin–orbit coupled wavefunctions and analytical nonadiabatic coupling terms. The present method was applied to the A-band photodissociation of methyl iodide, CH3I + hv → CH3 + I (2P3/2)/I* (2P1/2), for which a pioneering theoretical work was reported by Amatatsu, Yabushita, and Morokuma. The present results reproduced well the experimental branching ratio and energy distributions in the dissociative products. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

An asymmetric cyanation of acylsilanes involving the in‐situ formation of chiral acylsilane cyanohydrins followed by their kinetic resolution via organocatalytic cycloetherification is described. The highly enantio‐ and diastereoselective cycloetherification was crucial for achieving a high efficiency in the kinetic resolution. Consequently, acylsilane cyanohydrins containing a tetrasubstituted chiral carbon atom bearing silyl, cyano, and hydroxy groups were obtained in an enantioenriched form. This protocol therefore offers an efficient catalytic approach to optically active acylsilane cyanohydrins, which exhibit potential as chiral building blocks for the synthesis of pharmaceutically relevant chiral organosilanes.  相似文献

Monitoring of pharmacodynamics in addition to pharmacokinetics is one of strategies to individualize mycophenolate mofetil therapy. The purpose of this study was to develop sensitive liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐MS/MS) methods for evaluation of the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of mycophenolic acid (MPA). Concentrations of mycophenolic acid glucuronide (MPAG), mycophenolic acid acyl‐glucuronide, as well as unbound MPA and MPAG, were determined, and inosine‐5′‐monophosphate dehydrogenase activity was calculated by measuring concentrations of produced xanthosine‐5′‐monophosphate (XMP) and intracellular adenosine‐5′‐monophosphate after incubation of peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) lysates. A metal‐free MastroTM column and two gradient patterns were used to improve the quantification limit of XMP to 0.1 μm . In the clinical MPA concentration range, the linearity of the calibration curve, inter‐ and intra‐day precision and accuracy satisfied the relevant US Food and Drug Administration guidelines. The MPA concentrations in hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) patients determined by the enzyme assay and the present LC‐MS/MS method showed a good correlation (r2 = 0.95, p < 0.001). In this study, we report sensitive and validated LC‐MS/MS methods to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of MPA, which are sufficiently sensitive to assess small quantities of PBMC lysates collected shortly after HSCT. Crystalline particles of a microporous, robust, and chiral metal–organic framework (MOF) were synthesized and their enantiomer excess (ee) was visualized for each microparticle by CD imaging. Labtb, a thermally and chemically robust MOF, was employed in this study because it shows a chiral space group. Although Labtb has been obtained as a racemic conglomerate, enantioselective synthesis of Labtb was achieved via a chiral precursor complex consisting of lanthanum and homochiral phenylalanine. Methyl orange (MO) was introduced into the micropores of chiral Labtb, which showed a strong induced CD signal for the absorption band of MO chromophores. High ee of the chiral Labtb was revealed by microscopic CD observation at the particle-level. This result provides a facile way to obtain a robust MOF that has chiral nanospace.  相似文献

Two new polyketides, (5R,7R,9R)-7,9-dihydroxy-5-decanolide and (4E,6R,9R)- 6,9-dihydroxydec-4-enoic acid (2), were isolated from rice cultures of Cylindrocarpon sp. SY-39 discovered during screening of driftwood at a Shonai coast area in Yamagata, Japan. The structures of 1 and 2 were determined using a variety of spectroscopic methods. Compound 2 exhibited moderate antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus NBRC 13276 and Aspergillus clavatus F 318a at a concentration of 50 μg per disk.  相似文献
