In the presence of fine silk cocoon (silk fibroin, SF) powder, a low viscosity sol of nano-hydroxyapatite (HAp, Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)—SF was synthesized by a wet mechanochemical reaction. Nano crystals of HAp are oriented along their c-axis. The secondary structure of SF was changed by milling. A uniform thin gel film was obtained by a simple dip coating on the glass substrate precoated by chitosan.  相似文献

An axial focusing surface muon channel, Dai Omega, is under construction. This channel will be installed at KEK-MSL in the summer of 2001. It uses four large aperture superconducting coils for axial focusing to realize a high-intensity positive muon beam by improving the solid angle acceptance. The effects of vibration ball-milling of a mixture of two gels, prepared from mixing ZrO2 and TiO2 sols, on crystallization processes during heating are studied in order to determine enhanced mechanochemical reactions with the aid of hydroxyl groups. Data of differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray diffractometry show that TiO2 (anatase) and ZrO2 (tetragonal) crystallized at 698 and 712 K, respectively, when a powdered gel mixture was heated to 1023 K to 10 K min−1 in air. No reactions between the two phases were detected. After vibro-milling a powdered gel mixture at room temperature for 3 to 30 h, a new exothermic DTA peak appeared around 950 K and ZrTiO4 (orthorhombic) was detected on heating to 1023 K. After vibro-milling, the compositional micro-homogeneity of non-heated gels was estimated from the fluctuations of elemental compositions in local areas using energy dispersive spectrometer with a 25 nm electron beam. The fraction of ZrTiO4 crystallized on heating the gels to 1023 K, determined by Raman spectroscopy, increased linearly with increasing the micro-homogeneity for non-heated gels. It is suggested that atomic movement and short-range ordering of ZrTiO4 rather than crystallization of individual oxides occur when applying mechanical stress to a powdered mixture of ZrO2 and TiO2 gels.  相似文献

We have investigated two-photon-induced photoluminescence images and spectra of single gold nanorods by using an apertured scanning near-field optical microscope. The observed PL spectrum of single gold nanorod can be explained by the radiative recombination of the electron-hole pair near the X and L symmetry points. PL images reveal characteristic features reflecting an eigenfunction of a specific plasmon mode as well as electric field distributions around the nanorod.  相似文献

Summary p- and o-Chloroanisole were catalytically dechlorinated with Pd/C at 30°C in a solution of NaOH in mixtures of 2-propanol and methanol. The dechlorination rate of p-chloroanisole in the mixture containing 1% methanol was 12 times as high as that in 2-propanol alone. The dechlorination rate of o-chloroanisole was also enhanced by the addition of a small amount of methanol.  相似文献

Combinatorial phage peptide libraries have been used to identify the ligands for specific target molecules. These libraries are also useful for identification of the specific substrates of various proteases. A substrate phage library has a random peptide sequence at the N-terminus of the phage coat protein and an additional tag sequence that enables attachment of the phage to an immobile phase. When these libraries are incubated with a specific enzyme, such as a protease, the uncleaved phage is excluded from the solution with tag-binding macromolecules. This provides a novel approach to define substrate specificity. The aim of this review is to summarize recent progress on the application of the substrate phage technique to identify specific substrates of proteolytic enzymes. As an example, some of our own experimental data on the selection and characterization of substrate sequences for thrombin, a serine protease, and membrane type-1 matrix metalloproteinase (MT1-MMP) will be presented. Using this approach, the canonical consensus substrate sequence for thrombin was deduced from the selected clones. As expected from the collagenolytic activity of MT1-MMP, a collagen-like sequence was identified in the case of MT1-MMP. A more selective substrate sequence for MT1-MMP was identified during a substrate phage screen. The delineation of the substrate specificity of proteases will help to elucidate the enzymatic properties and the physiological roles of these enzymes. Comprehensive screening of very large numbers of potential substrate sequences is possible with substrate phage libraries. Thus, this approach allows novel substrate sequences and previously unknown target molecules to be defined.  相似文献

We have investigated optical properties of single gold nanorods by using an apertured-type scanning near-field optical microscope. Near-field transmission spectrum of single gold nanorod shows several longitudinal surface plasmon resonances. Transmission images observed at these resonance wavelengths show oscillating pattern along the long axis of the nanorod. The number of oscillation increases with decrement of observing wavelength. These spatial characteristics were well reproduced by calculated local density-of-states maps and were attributed to spatial characteristics of plasmon modes inside the nanorods. Dispersion relation for plasmons in gold nanorods was obtained by plotting the resonance frequencies of the plasmon modes versus the wave vectors obtained from the transmission images.  相似文献

We fabricated porphyrin thin films on mica surfaces from acidic aqueous solutions of the preorganized H-aggregates of amphiphilic porphyrins by the simple spin-coating method. The morphological and spectroscopic properties of the film were investigated by scanning near-field optical microscopy. The results obtained in this study demonstrate that the preorganized structure in solution can be transferred as a thin film with a thickness of the monolayer level without losing their substantial structure and photophysical properties.  相似文献

Two efficient and practical methods of synthesis of the C-10 substituent of DV-7751 (1), a novel quinolone carboxylic acid, were established. The first method utilizes an optical resolution of racemic 8-amino-6-benzyl-6-azaspiro[3.4]octane (13), while the second employs an enantioselective microbial reduction of 6-benzyl-5,8-dioxo-6-azaspiro[3.4]octane (8b). The enantiomeric excess of (S)-8-amino-6-benzyl-6-azaspiro[3.4]octane (11) with each method of synthesis is greater than 96%.  相似文献

We propose that observables in quantum theory are properly understood as representatives of symmetry-invariant quantities relating one system to another, the latter to be called a reference system. We provide a rigorous mathematical language to introduce and study quantum reference systems, showing that the orthodox “absolute” quantities are good representatives of observable relative quantities if the reference state is suitably localised. We use this relational formalism to critique the literature on the relationship between reference frames and superselection rules, settling a long-standing debate on the subject.  相似文献
