Double activation catalysis was experimentally observed in hydrolysis of cellobiose catalyzed simultaneously with phthalic and hydrochloric acids, confirming earlier theoretical prediction known from literature. Both acids can catalyze the reaction individually, and contribution of the double-activation pathway to the total reaction rate declines as temperature increases. In fact, above a certain temperature, the hydrolysis rate in presence of both acids becomes lower than the sum of the rates for the two acids acting individually. A kinetic model is proposed to explain this transition between double-activated catalysis and inhibition. The trend of declining contribution of cooperative catalytic pathway with rising temperature is theorized to be generally applicable for any reaction with a pathway involving simultaneous action of two catalysts when either of them can individually catalyze the reaction. 相似文献
Here, we study stimulated nonlinear scattering in the spectral range near the second optical harmonic of a laser pump in water samples containing gas nanobubbles. It was found that the spectral and spatial characteristics of nonlinear scattering radiation undergo significant changes upon settling of initially degassed water samples in a flask, open to the atmospheric air. It turned out that the contact with the atmospheric air results in the growth of the volume number density of gas nanobubbles. It appeared that the physical mechanism of nonlinear scattering changes upon increasing the nanobubble content. In fact, four-photon parametric scattering in degassed water, which occurs due to the cubic nonlinear susceptibility χ(3) of medium, transforms upon increasing the content of nanobubbles into stimulated hyper-Raman scattering controlled by the constant (∂χ(2)/∂q), where χ(2) is the quadratic nonlinear susceptibility and q is coordinate of a nucleus. The physical nature of the observed phenomenon is the generation of a surface plasmon arising due to the optical breakdown inside a gas nanobubble, which leads to an effective buildup of vibrations of molecules/ions localized in the surface layer of nanobubble. The plasmon bandwidth Δω was theoretically estimated. It turned out that Δω ≈ ω0, where ω0 is the resonant plasmon wavenumber, that is, in our case, the quality factor of the plasmon oscillator is very low. 相似文献

This characterization involves the behavior of the value function : defined by . Namely, all minimizers for (P) are -regular in neighborhoods of and if and only if is Lipschitz continuous at . Consequently problems (P) possessing no singular minimizers are characterized in cases where not even a weak form of the Euler-Lagrange equations is available for guidance. Full regularity results for problems where is nearly autonomous, nearly independent of , or jointly convex in are presented.
The spectral and photochromic properties of bispiroanthro-bis-oxazine (bis-SAO) in toluene, DMF, and polystyrene films were investigated in the 77–300 K interval. It is shown that the long-wave part of the absorption spectrum of the starting form of the molecule is formed by three-electron transitions localized in the anthro-bis-oxazine fragment. The directions of the oscillators of these transitions relative to the nuclear. backbone of the molecule are proposed on the basis of luminescence polarization data. It is proposed that the photochromic properties of the solutions are determined by the existence of bis-SAO molecules in dimer form.N. N.
