Crystal structures of binuclear Bi(III) chloride and bromide complexes with some cations — Alkylated pyridine derivatives

By a reaction of [BiX₆]^3– with salts of various N-alkylated pyridine derivatives in 2M HX (X = Cl, Br), (N-BzPy)₄[Bi₂X₁₀] complexes (X = Cl (1), Br (2), (4-MePyH)₄[Bi₂Cl₁₀] (3)) are obtained and structurally characterized.

Crystal structure of Cs8[α-BW12O40][RhCl6]·5·5H2O double salt

By heating in the air [HBW₁₁O₃₉]⁸⁻ with [Rh₂(CH₃COO)₄(H₂O)₂] in the excess of tungstate followed by crystallization in the presence of CsCl, a double salt of Cs₈[6h-BW₁₂O₄₀][RhCl₆]·5.5H₂O is obtained and structurally characterized. Its crystal structure is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure is ionic with Cs⁺ cations, [BW₁₂O₄₀]⁵ anions with the Keggin structure, and [RhCl₆]³ octahedral anions.     

XPS spectra of vanadium-doped disulfides CuCrS<Subscript>2</Subscript>

The charged state of atoms in layered cation-substituted disulfides CuCr_1?x V _x S₂ (x = 0?0.4) was studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The study was performed with polycrystalline powder and ceramic samples of chromium-copper disulfides. CuCr_1?x V _x S₂ samples were shown to comprise differently charged atoms of chromium, copper and vanadium, the charged state of which varies with the concentration of vanadium cations (x).     

Supramolecular Systems Based on Ca2+, [Mo3O2S2Cl6(H2O)3]2s-, [Mo3S4Cl6.75Br0.25(H2O)2]3s- and Cucurbit[6]uril

Adducts of cucurbit[6]uril with Ca²⁺ and trinuclear cluster chloroaquacomplexes (H₉O₄)₂(H₇O₃)₂[(Ca(H₂O)₅)2(C₃₆H₃₆N₂₄O₁₂)]Cl₈·0.67H₂O (1) and [(Ca(H₂O)₅)₂(C₃₆H₃₆N₂₄O₁₂)]× [Mo₃O₂S₂Cl₆(H₂O)₃]₂·13H₂O (2) are obtained and structurally characterized. The structures of both compounds contain polymeric [Ca(H₂O) _n ]₂² CB[6]∞ cations that form infinite columns; the space between them is filled with Cl^s- (1) and [Mo₃O₂S₂Cl₆(H₂O)₃]^2s- (2). A new (H₇O₃)₂(H₅O₂)× [Mo₃S₄Cl_6.25Br_0.25(H₂O)₂](C₃₆H₃₆N₂₄O₁₂)·CH₂Cl₂·6H₂O complex (3) is also obtained and structurally characterized.     

Modification of biologically active amides and amines with fluorine-containing heterocycles 3*. Piracetam in the three-component reaction with methyl trifluoropyruvate and 1,3-binucleophiles

Three-component reaction of Piracetam, methyl trifluoropyruvate and 1,3-binucleophiles, such as 6-aminouracils, 6-aminothiouracils, 4-(4-tolylamino)pent-3-en-2-one and N-substituted ureas, has been studied. This reaction resulted in fluorinated heterocyclic derivatives of Piracetam.
