The mass shift of surface electrons in helium has been investigated theoretically caused by electron-ripplon interaction as a function of electromagnetic field power absorbed by a system. It is shown that the mass shift is negative at weak powers of external field but it increases as the power increases and changes its sign. The results of calculation and comparison with the experimental data testify to the favourable role of two-ripplon scattering processes in energy relaxation of surface electrons above helium. 相似文献

Conclusions Comparison was made of the results of prolonged (from 2 to 6 years) control experiments of tubular specimens of PN-3 for creep during tension, torsion, and simultaneous tension and torsion under various temperature-humidity conditions with calculation based on data of short-term (up to 5 h) experiments, in which the creep process was accelerated by increase in temperature and humidity of the material. Calculation of the prolonged creep deformations expected was done from the relationships of viscoelastic properties of a linearly changing solid, generalized for the case of influence of temperature and humidity under the assumption that the volume changes only elastically. On the basis of this generalization, adherence to the temperature-humidity-time analogy is assumed to be experimentally confirmed. The pseudo-ε-expansions for the coordinate of the fixed point g*, the critical exponents, and the sextic effective coupling constant g6 are determined for the two-dimensional Ising model on the basis of the five-loop renormalization group series. The interference of the 2P state of the hydrogen atom due to unknown long-range interaction with the metal surface (Sokolov effect) has been studied by an atomic interferometer. In contrast to previous experiments, where an atomic beam passed through slits in metal plates, a beam in the presented experiments passes at a given distance from the edges of the plates. It has been found that the interference is clearly observed if two plates are located on the same side of the beam. However, this interference disappears if one plate is displaced to the opposite side.
