Complex metal oxides with the composition LiNi0.33Mn0.33Co0.33O2 prepared by various methods: sol–gel method, solid-phase method, and thermal destruction of metal-containing compounds in oil were studied. The results of elemental analysis, TGA/DSC, powder X-ray diffraction, SEM, TEM, as well as the results of electrochemical testing of the cathodes based on the obtained materials are presented. The complex metal oxides LiNi0.33Mn0.33Co0.33O2 prepared by sol–gel processes and thermal destruction of metal-containing compounds in oil consist of primary nanosized crystallites with an average size of 90 nm covered by a nanometer carbon layer, which improves the electrochemical characteristics of lithium ion batteries. 相似文献

Experience in applying conventional and epithermal neutron activation analysis for some challenging areas of life sciences and material science is reviewed. For more than 30 years of its operation the radioanalytical complex REGATA at the IBR-2 reactor in Dubna has become a source of analytical data for the environmental studies, marine geology, biotechnology and medicine, technological process of diamond and boron nitride synthesis, archaeology, nanomaterials, etc. In spite of competing non-nuclear analytical techniques (AAS, ICP-ES, ICP-MS, etc.), the reactor neutron activation analysis (NAA) as a primary (ratio) method continues to be the most powerful multielement analytical technique providing quantification of trace elements at ultralow levels. Combined with modern statistical data treatment of large arrays of data, GIS (geographic information system) technologies, electron scanning microscopy, tomography, and others, NAA serves to obtain actual, practical results resumed in the review. An experimental investigation was made of nonequilibrium effects with the filtration of viscoelastic petroleums and polymer solutions. A scheme is proposed to explain the effects obtained. A comparison between theoretical dependences and experimental data confirms the proposed scheme of the phenomenon. The filtration of viscoelastic liquids has recently attracted considerable attention. The interest in it is connected with the discovery of well-expressed elastic properties in several high-viscosity petroleums, as well as with the need to explain the laws governing the movement of solutions and polymer melts in a porous medium, with application to industrial chemical equipment and to the injection of polymer solutions into oil-bearing strata with the aim of increasing the yield of petroleum. Among articles devoted to the filtration of viscoelastic liquids, there should be mentioned the fundamental investigation of Marshall and Metzner [1], me theoretical article of Wissler [2], and me review of Savins [3]. Specifically, it is shown in [1] that, as a result of elastic effects, the filtration resistance in a steady-state flow rises in accordance with the relationship 1+A(V/r)2 where V is the filtration rate; r is the mean pore radius; is the relaxation time; A is a constant on the order of magnitude of 10. In [1] this increase in the resistance is explained qualitatively by the action of specific, for elastic liquids, normal stresses in contracting and then expanding pore channels. A method for evaluating the penetrating (piercing) power of shaped charges under the condition when an intense electric current pulse is applied to a shaped charge jet is developed. The buildup of waist-type MHD instability and the volume damage of the jet material are viewed as possible mechanisms behind a reduction of the penetrating power of a shaped charge jet under the current action. The main goal of this work is to study the possibility of detecting alpha particles with a micropixel avalanche photodiode (MAPD) in combination with Lutetium Fine Silicate (LFS) scintillators (500 μm thick). It is proposed to apply the birefringence method to measure the threshold of the light-induced Freedericksz transition and the nonlinearity enhancement factor of nematic liquid crystals by director relaxation dynamics in the light field. A birefringence change is recorded by interference of ordinary and extraordinary components of the light beamaffecting the liquid crystal director orientation. The Freedericksz transition thresholds and nonlinearity enhancement factors are measured for the samples doped with comb-shaped polymers with various degrees of polymerization.
