Vinyl ethers, promising chiral carbohydrate synthons, have been synthesized by the addition of glucose acetals (1,2:5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-α-d-glucofuranose, methyl 4,6-O-benzylidene-α-d-glucopyranoside, 1,2-O-cyclohexylidene-α-d-glucofuranose, methyl α-d-glucopyranoside) to acetylene under atmospheric and elevated pressures in an autoclave in the presence of superbase catalytic systems (KOH-DMSO, t-BuOK-DMSO). The complete vinylation of 1,2:5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-α-d-glucofuranose and methyl α-d-glucopyranoside has been realized under elevated pressure of acetylene in the system KOH-THF as well.  相似文献

Although Brust-Schiffrin two-phase synthesis is a popular method for synthesizing ligand-protected metal nanoparticles with an average size of less than 5 nm, the details on how the reactions can be controlled from a mechanistic point of view are still unclear, therefore hindering efforts to synthesize monodisperse metal nanoparticles. It was recently discovered that this method is basically an inverse-micelle-based synthesis (Li, Y.; Zaluzhna, O.; Xu, B.; Gao, Y.; Modest, J. M.; Tong, Y. Y. J. J. Am. Chem. Soc.2011, 133, 2092). In this letter, the critical role of water and the structure of inverse micelles in typical synthesis of gold nanoparticles were further investigated. We found that (1) water encapsulated in the inverse micelles of [TOA](+) that also hosted metal ions formed a hydrophilic microenvironment that acted as a reaction-enabling proton-accepting medium for the thiol protons (RS-H) and (2) not only the presence but also the amount of water in the reaction medium has a profound effect on the Au(I) precursor species (a pure [TOA][AuX(2)] complex or a mixture of a [TOA][AuX(2)] complex and polymeric [Au(I)SR](n) species), the reduction of Au(III) by thiols, and the formation of uniform small metal nanoparticles. A quantitative analysis of the (1)H NMR of the encapsulated water enabled an estimation of the size and composition of the involved inverse micelles.  相似文献

Facile access to complex systems is crucial to generate the functional materials of the future. Herein, we report self-organizing surface-initiated polymerization (SOSIP) as a user-friendly method to create ordered as well as oriented functional systems on transparent oxide surfaces. In SOSIP, self-organization of monomers and ring-opening disulfide exchange polymerization are combined to ensure the controlled growth of the polymer from the surface. This approach provides rapid access to thick films with smooth, reactivatable surfaces and long-range order with few defects and high precision, including panchromatic photosystems with oriented four-component redox gradients. The activity of SOSIP architectures is clearly better than that of disordered controls.  相似文献

A series of 11-substituted 3,5,10,11-tetrahydro-2H-benzo[6,7]thiochromeno[2,3-d][1,3]thiazole-2,5,10-triones were obtained via hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of 5-alkyl/arylallylidene/-4-thioxo-2-thiazolidinones and 1,4-naphthoquinones. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were established by spectral data and a single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. According to U.S. NCI protocols, compounds 3.5 and 3.6 were screened for their anticancer activity; 11-Phenethyl-3,11-dihydro-2H-benzo[6,7]thiochromeno[2,3-d]thiazole-2,5,10-trione (3.6) showed pronounced cytotoxic effect on leukemia (Jurkat, THP-1), epidermoid (KB3-1, KBC-1), and colon (HCT116wt, HCT116 p53-/-) cell lines. The cytotoxic action of 3.6 on p53-deficient colon carcinoma cells was two times weaker than on HCT116wt, and it may be an interesting feature of the mechanism action.  相似文献

Aging is a very complex process that is accompanied by a degenerative impairment in many of the major functions of the human body over time. This inevitable process is influenced by hereditary factors, lifestyle, and environmental influences such as xenobiotic pollution, infectious agents, UV radiation, diet-borne toxins, and so on. Many external and internal signs and symptoms are related with the aging process and senescence, including skin dryness and wrinkles, atherosclerosis, diabetes, neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, etc. Oxidative stress, a consequence of the imbalance between pro- and antioxidants, is one of the main provoking factors causing aging-related damages and concerns, due to the generation of highly reactive byproducts such as reactive oxygen and nitrogen species during the metabolism, which result in cellular damage and apoptosis. Antioxidants can prevent these processes and extend healthy longevity due to the ability to inhibit the formation of free radicals or interrupt their propagation, thereby lowering the level of oxidative stress. This review focuses on supporting the antioxidant system of the organism by balancing the diet through the consumption of the necessary amount of natural ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), essential amino acids, probiotics, plants’ fibers, nutritional supplements, polyphenols, some phytoextracts, and drinking water.  相似文献

A novel heterometallic 1D coordination polymer [{Ni(en)2}2(micro-NCS)4Cd(NCS)2](n) x nCH3CN (en = ethylenediamine) has been prepared using the self-assembly process in a one-pot reaction of cadmium oxide, nickel and ammonium thiocyanates with an acetonitrile solution of ethylenediamine. The complex consists of an uncommon cis-Cd(SCN)4(NCS)2(4-) fragment and a rare combination of cis-Ni(en)2(2+) and trans-Ni(en)2(2+) building blocks linked by micro(1,3)-NCS bridges into a double-stranded zigzag chain structure. Each chain is comprised of [Ni2Cd2(micro-NCS-N,S)4)] macrocycles with chair-like and rectangular-like shapes arrayed alternately. The shortest intrachain CdCd separations are 9.535(1) and 10.868(2) A, while the nearest NiNi distances are 5.418(1) and 6.612(2) A. A network of weak N-HS hydrogen bonds, involving the terminal NCS ligands and NH2-groups of en, links the infinite chains and results in the formation of an extended supramolecular three-dimensional framework. Variable-temperature (1.8-300 K) magnetic susceptibilities show a slight change of the micro(B) value at low temperature, indicative of weak antiferromagnetic interactions (J = 1.55 cm-1) between magnetic canters. High-field, high-frequency (100-400 GHz) EPR spectra were simulated using S = 1 ground state for separate Ni2+ ions with the spin Hamiltonian parameters g = 2.165, D = 0.45 cm-1 and E = 0.03 cm(-1). According to DFT calculations, the D and E parameters are -0.35 cm(-1) and 0.049 cm-1 for the cis arrangement of Ni2+ and 0.58 cm(-1) and 0.012 cm(-1) for trans.  相似文献

Dissociative nuclear motion in core-excited molecular states leads to a splitting of the fragment Auger lines: the Auger-Doppler effect. We present here for the first time experimental evidence for an Auger-Doppler effect following F1s → a(1g)* inner-shell excitation by circularly polarized x rays in SF(6). In spite of a uniform distribution of the dissociating S-F bonds near the polarization plane of the light, the intersection between the subpopulation of molecules selected by the core excitation with the cone of dissociation induces a strong anisotropy in the distribution of the S-F bonds that contributes to the scattering profile measured in the polarization plane.  相似文献
