A mobility phenomenon is typical for a large class of non-linear evolutions. It is shown that the mobility can be responsible for a malignant form of quantum mechanical non separability of two correlated systems. An explicit example based on Weinberg's non linear quantum mechanics is considered. We show that in such a theory a transfer of information without a transfer of energy is possible and discuss physical roots of this phenomenon. We shall be concerned with the existence of heteroclinic orbits for the second order Hamiltonian system , where qRn and VC1(R×Rn,R), V?0. We will assume that V and a certain subset MRn satisfy the following conditions. M is a set of isolated points and #M?2. For every sufficiently small ε>0 there exists δ>0 such that for all (t,z)∈R×Rn, if d(z,M)?ε then −V(t,z)?δ. The integrals , zM, are equi-bounded and −V(t,z)→∞, as |t|→∞, uniformly on compact subsets of Rn?M. We study solutions of the Cauchy problem for a supercritical semilinear parabolic equation which converge to a singular steady state from below as t→∞. We show that the grow-up rate of such solutions depends on the spatial decay rate of initial data.  相似文献

 We consider a variety of nearest-neighbor spin models defined on the d-dimensional hypercubic lattice ℤ d . Our essential assumption is that these models satisfy the condition of reflection positivity. We prove that whenever the associated mean-field theory predicts a discontinuous transition, the actual model also undergoes a discontinuous transition (which occurs near the mean-field transition temperature), provided the dimension is sufficiently large or the first-order transition in the mean- field model is sufficiently strong. As an application of our general theory, we show that for d sufficiently large, the 3-state Potts ferromagnet on ℤ d undergoes a first-order phase transition as the temperature varies. Similar results are established for all q-state Potts models with q≥3, the r-component cubic models with r≥4 and the O(N)-nematic liquid-crystal models with N≥3. Using a novel diffusion-evaporation method, the self-diffusion coefficient of manganese in manganous sulphide has been determined as a function of temperature (1073–1373 K) in equilibrium with the metallic phase. It has been shown that the activation energy of this process at constant sulphur activity amounts to 269 kJ/mol and the self-diffusion coefficient is the following function of temperature and sulphur vapour pressure: DMn=0.252 P?16S2 exp(-269kJ/mol/RT). Diffusion of Mn2+ cations in Mn1+yS proceeds via the interstitialcy mechanism and the activation enthalpy of successive jumps of these defects, δHm is equal to 118 kJ/mol. It has been demonstrated that the mobility of interstitial cations in the Mn1+yS lattice does not depend on their concentration and the diffusion coefficient of these defects has the following function of temperature: Di=0.759 exp(-118 kJ/mol/RT).  相似文献

Nash equilibria and correlated equilibria of classical and quantum games are investigated in the context of their Pareto efficiency. The examples of the prisoner’s dilemma, battle of the sexes and the game of chicken are studied. Correlated equilibria usually improve Nash equilibria of games but require a trusted correlation device susceptible to manipulation. The quantum extension of these games in the Eisert–Wilkens–Lewenstein formalism and the Frąckiewicz–Pykacz parameterization is analyzed. It is shown that the Nash equilibria of these games in quantum mixed Pauli strategies are closer to Pareto optimal results than their classical counter-parts. The relationship of mixed Pauli strategies equilibria and correlated equilibria is also studied.  相似文献

Information switching and swapping seem to be fundamental elements of quantum communication protocols. Another crucial issue is the presence of entanglement and its level in inspected quantum systems. In this article, a formal definition of the operation of the swapping local quantum information and its existence proof, together with some elementary properties analysed through the prism of the concept of the entropy, are presented. As an example of the local information swapping usage, we demonstrate a certain realisation of the quantum switch. Entanglement levels, during the work of the switch, are calculated with the Negativity measure and a separability criterion based on the von Neumann entropy, spectral decomposition and Schmidt decomposition. Results of numerical experiments, during which the entanglement levels are estimated for systems under consideration with and without distortions, are presented. The noise is generated by the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and the intrinsic decoherence is modelled by the Milburn equation. This work contains a switch realisation in a circuit form—built out of elementary quantum gates, and a scheme of the circuit which estimates levels of entanglement during the switch’s operating.  相似文献
