A variety of fluoroalkyl end-capped oligomers were applied to the preparation of fluorinated oligomer/hydroxyapatite (HAp) composites (particle size: 38-356 nm), which exhibit a good dispersibility in water and traditional organic solvents. These fluoroalkyl end-capped oligomer/HAp composites were easily prepared by the reactions of disodium hydrogen phosphate and calcium chloride in the presence of self-assembled molecular aggregates formed by fluoroalkyl end-capped oligomers in aqueous solutions. In these fluorinated HAp composites thus obtained, fluoroalkyl end-capped acrylic acid oligomers and 2-methacryloyloxyethanesulfonic acid oligomer/HAp nanocomposites afforded transparent colorless solutions toward water; however, fluoroalkyl end-capped N,N-dimethylacrylamide oligomer and acryloylmorpholine oligomer were found to afford transparent colorless solutions with trace amounts of white-colored HAp precipitants under similar conditions. HAp could be encapsulated more effectively into fluorinated 2-methacryloyloxyethanesulfonic acid oligomeric aggregate cores to afford colloidal stable fluorinated oligomer/HAp composites, compared to that of fluorinated acrylic acid oligomers. These fluorinated oligomer/HAp composites were applied to the surface modification of glass and PVA to exhibit a good oleophobicity imparted by fluorine. HAp formation was newly observed on the modified polyethylene terephthalate film surface treated with fluorinated 2-methacryloyloxyethanesulfonic acid oligomers and acrylic acid oligomer/HAp composites by soaking these films into the simulated body fluid.  相似文献

The formation of zeolite A (LTA) in the presence of tetramethylammonium cations is studied using in situ small angle and wide angle X-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) techniques. The SAXS measurements show the formation of homogeneous precursors 10 nm in size prior to the crystallization of LTA which were consumed during the crystallization. The crystal size is estimated by fitting the SAXS patterns with an equation for a cubic particle, and it is revealed that the final crystal size of the LTA depends on the synthesis temperature. However, although such temperature dependence is noted for the final crystal size, the initial precursor particles size appears to be closely similar (ca. 10 nm) irrespective of the synthesis temperature.  相似文献

Uranium and thorium contents of solar salts were measured by neutron activation analysis. In advance of neutron irradiation, U and Th were concentrated and separated from some interfering elements by neutralization in which they were precipitated with aluminium hydroxide from solutions obtained by dissolving the salts in water or dilute nitric acid solution. The uranium and thorium concentrations determined were from several hundred ppt to 10 ppb. It was strongly indicated that uranium tends to remain in the solution (brine from seawater) phase in the process of solar salt production while thorium tends to transfer to the solid (solar salt) phase.  相似文献

The time evolution of the density fluctuation of molecules inhomogeneously dispersing in a mesoscopic volume is investigated by dynamic light scattering in several fluids in supercritical states. This study is the first time-domain investigation to compare the dynamics of density fluctuation among several fluids. The samples used are non-hydrogen-bonded fluids in the supercritical states: CHF(3), C(2)H(4), CO(2), and xenon. These four molecules have different properties but are of similar size. Under these conditions, the relationship between dynamic and static density inhomogeneities is studied by measuring the time correlation function of the density fluctuation. In all cases, this function is characterized by a single exponential function, decaying within a few microseconds. While the correlation times in the four fluids show noncoincidence, those values agree well with each other when scaled to a dimensionless parameter. From the results of this scaling based on the Kawasaki theory and Landau-Placzek theory, the relation between dynamics and static structures is analyzed, and the following four insights are obtained: (i) viscosity is the main contributor to the time evolution of density fluctuation; (ii) the principle of corresponding state is observed by the use of time-domain data; (iii) the Kawasaki theory and the Landau-Placzek theory are confirmed to be applicable to polar, nonpolar, and nondipolar fluids that have no hydrogen bonding, at temperatures relatively far from critical temperature; and (iv) the density fluctuation correlation length and the value of density fluctuation are estimated from the time-domain data and agree with the values from other experiments and calculations.  相似文献

Bicyclo[2.2.2]octadiene-connected pyrrolo-porphyrins have been prepared by an inverse-type [3+1] porphyrin synthesis of a bicyclo[2.2.2]octadiene-fused dipyrrole with a tripyrrane dicarbaldehyde. Another [3+1] porphyrin synthesis of pyrrole-connected porphyrins with the same or other tripyrrane dicarbaldehydes gave bicyclo[2.2.2]octadiene-bridged diporphyrins, the central metals and/or peripheral substituents of which were different. Thermal decomposition of the bicyclo[2.2.2]octadiene skeleton to a benzene moiety gave pi-system-fused porphyrin dimers in a highly pure form.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of ZnS-AgInS2 solid solution (ZAIS) were synthesized by the thermal decomposition of (AgIn)xZn2(1-x)(S2CN(C2H5)2)4 precursors in a hot oleylamine solution. X-ray powder diffraction analyses revealed that the resulting nanoparticle powders were not a mixture of ZnS and AgInS2 but a ZnS-AgInS2 solid solution in which the fraction of ZnS was enlarged with a decrease in the value of x, that is, an increase in the content of Zn2+ in the precursors used. The energy gap of ZAIS nanoparticles could be controlled by the composition of solid solution. Intense emission was observed at room temperature, regardless of the kind of the particles, the peak wavelength of PL being blue-shifted from 720 to 540 nm with a decrease in the value of x. The highest quantum yield of ca. 24% was obtained for nanoparticles prepared with x = 0.86, which was much higher than the quantum yields reported for I-III-VI2-based semiconductor nanoparticles, such as CuInS2 and ZnS-CuInS2 solid solution.  相似文献

By using the neutral bidentate nitrogen-containing ligand, bis(3,5-diisopropyl-1-pyrazolyl)methane (L1' '), the copper(I) complexes [Cu(L1' ')2](CuCl2) (1CuCl2), [Cu(L1' ')2](ClO4) (1ClO4), [Cu(L1' ')]2(ClO4)2 (2ClO4), [Cu(L1' ')]2(BF4)2 (2BF4), [Cu(L1' ')(NCMe)](PF6) (3PF6), [Cu(L1' ')(PPh3)](ClO4) (4ClO4), [Cu(L1' ')(PPh3)](PF6) (4PF6), [{Cu(L1' ')(CO)}2(mu-ClO4)](ClO4) (5ClO4), and the copper(II) complexes [{Cu(L1' ')}2(mu-OH)2(mu-ClO4)2] (6), and [Cu(L1' ')Cl2] (7) were systematically synthesized and fully characterized by X-ray crystallography and by IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. In the case of copper(II), ESR spectroscopy was also applied. In comparison with the related neutral tridentate ligand L1', bis-chelated copper(I) complexes and binuclear linear-coordinated copper(I) complexes are easy to obtain with L1' ', like 1CuCl2, 1ClO4, 2ClO4, and 2BF4. Importantly, stronger and bulkier ligands such as acetonitrile (3PF6) and especially triphenylphosphine (4ClO4 and 4PF6) generate three-coordinate structures with a trigonal-planar geometry. Surprisingly, for the smaller ligand carbon monoxide, a mononuclear three-coordinate structure is very unstable, leading to the formation of a binuclear complex (5ClO4) with one bridging perchlorate anion, such that the copper(I) centers are four-coordinate. The same tendency is observed for the copper(II) bis(mu-hydroxo) compounds 6, which is additionally bridged by two perchlorate anions. Both copper(II) complexes 6 and 7 were obtained by molecular O2 oxidation of the corresponding copper(I) complexes. A comparison of the new copper(I) triphenylphosphine complexes 4ClO4 and 4PF6 with corresponding species obtained with the related tridentate ligands L1' and L1 (8ClO4 and 9, respectively) reveals surprisingly small differences in their spectroscopic properties. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations are used to shed light on the differences in bonding in these compounds and the spectral assignments. Finally, the reactivity of the different bis(pyrazolyl)methane complexes obtained here toward PPh3, CO, and O2 is discussed.  相似文献

The cyano-bridged trinuclear compound, (NEt(4))[Mn(2)(salmen)(2)(MeOH)(2)Fe(CN)(6)] (1) (salmen(2)(-) = rac-N,N'-(1-methylethylene)bis(salicylideneiminate)), reported previously by Miyasaka et al. (ref 19d) has been reinvestigated using combined ac and dc susceptibility measurements. The strong frequency dependence of the ac susceptibility and the slow relaxation of the magnetization show that 1 behaves as a single-molecule magnet with an S(T) = (9)/(2) spin ground state. Its relaxation time (tau) follows an Arrhenius law with tau(0) = 2.5 x 10(-)(7) s and Delta(eff)/k(B) = 14 K. Moreover, below 0.3 K, tau saturates around 470 s, indicating that quantum tunneling of the magnetization becomes the dominant process of relaxation. (NEt(4))[Mn(2) (5-MeOsalen)(2)Fe(CN)(6)] (2) (5-MeOsalen(2)(-) = N,N'-ethylenebis(5-methoxysalicylideneiminate)) is a heterometallic one-dimensional assembly made of the trinuclear [Mn(III)(SB)-NC-Fe(III)-CN-Mn(III)(SB)] (SB is a salen-type Schiff-base ligand) motif similar to 1. Compound 2 has two types of bridges, a cyano bridge (-NC-) and a biphenolate bridge (-(O)(2)-), connecting Mn(III) and Fe(III) ions and the two Mn(III) ions, respectively. Both bridges mediate ferromagnetic interactions, as shown by modeling the magnetic susceptibility above 10 K with g(av) = 2.03, J(Mn)(-)(Fe)/k(B) = +6.5 K, and J'/k(B) = +0.07 K, where J' is the exchange coupling between the trimer units. The dc magnetic measurements of a single crystal using micro-SQUID and Hall-probe magnetometers revealed a uniaxial anisotropy (D(T)/k(B) = -0.94 K) with an easy axis lying along the chain direction. Frequency dependence of the ac susceptibility and time dependence of the dc magnetization have been performed to study the slow relaxation of the magnetization. A mean relaxation time has been found, and its temperature dependence has been studied. Above 1.4 K, both magnetic susceptibility and relaxation time are in agreement with the dynamics described in the 1960s by R. J. Glauber for one-dimensional systems with ferromagnetically coupled Ising spins (tau(0) = 3.7 x 10(-)(10) s and Delta(1)/k(B) = 31 K). As expected, at lower temperatures below 1.4 K, the relaxation process is dominated by the finite-size chain effects (tau'(0) = 3 x 10(-)(8) s and Delta(2)/k(B) = 25 K). The detailed analysis of this single-chain magnet behavior and its two regimes is consistent with magnetic parameters independently estimated (J'and D(T)) and allows the determination of the average chain length of 60 nm (or 44 trimer units). This work illustrates nicely a new strategy to design single-chain magnets by coupling ferromagnetically single-molecule magnets in one dimension.  相似文献

Sorption and transport of CO2 have been investigated for polyimide films prepared from 3,3′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA) and 4,4′-oxydianilline (ODA) as well as for a chemically identical commercial polyimide film, Upilex-R. The BPDA-ODA polyimide films annealed above the glass transition temperature (270°C) are found to have some degree of ordering owing to molecular aggregation of polymer chains, whereas the films as-cast are amorphous. The solubility, permeability, and diffusion coefficients decrease significantly with increasing density or increasing average degree of molecular aggregation. The influence of morphology on the parameters in the dual-mode sorption and transport model has also been investigated. With an increase in density, the Langmuir capacity constant and the diffusion coefficients for Henry's law and Langmuir populations decrease by a larger factor than the Henry's law solubility constant. These results can be tentatively interpreted by assuming either a one-phase or two-phase structure for these polyimide films.  相似文献

The crystal structure of poly(p-xylylene), as polymerized, is the α form. This transforms irreversibly to the β from by annealing or drawing. To clarify the mechanism of this transition, structural changes of the α and β crystals were examined with a high-temperature stage in the electron microscope. Two high-temperature phases, β1 and β2, were found and their structures were analyzed. In these structures lattice distortions due to rotational and translational motions of chains are in troduced, especially in the β2 form. The α → β transition is induced through such a disordered phase. The statistical arrangement of a molecule in the β-form unit cell results from freezing the disorder in the high-temperature phases.  相似文献
